Similarly, it also gathers objects, forms, sounds, and so on. The subtle absorption is: consciousness dissolves into appearance, the inner sign is like smoke, and the outer sign is like the rising of the moon. The forty conceptual thoughts arising from desire cease. Even if a lovely celestial maiden comes near, desire does not arise. It is a time when the mind is sometimes clear and sometimes unclear. Appearance dissolves into increase, the inner sign is like a firefly, and the outer sign is like the rising of the sun. The thirty-three conceptual thoughts arising from hatred cease. Even if a fierce enemy comes near, hatred does not arise. Awareness becomes clearer than before. Increase dissolves into attainment, the inner sign is like a butter lamp, and the outer sign is like darkness. The seven conceptual thoughts arising from ignorance cease. Even if placed in darkness, ignorance does not arise. It is a time when awareness becomes extremely clear than before. If one has not practiced before, it is a time when fear and dread of emptiness arise. Attainment dissolves into clear light, the outer sign is like the rising of dawn or the breaking of day, and the inner sign is like the experience of a cloudless sky. All subtle habitual tendencies of afflictions cease. It is a time when awareness is clear and empty, without beginning or end. Secondly, the manner in which clear light arises is: At that time, the key to manifesting the Dharmakaya is that the father's essence point from the crown of the head, abiding in the form of the letter Hum From four fingers below the navel, the mother's essence point, the blazing mother with the face of a crow, abiding in the form of the seed syllable A (藏文:ཨ་ཐུང་ཤད།,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿) of fire, ascends, and the three—the undefiled, pure consciousness abiding in the nature of bliss and emptiness—gather together in the empty lotus of the Avadhuti channel in the heart. From this, the unborn, original meaning is seen without obscuration, and the Dharmakaya, the nature of being free from elaboration, arises in the continuum. Through the key of previous practice, one recognizes that Dharmakaya as the Dharmakaya, just as when a young child meets his mother, and others say, "This is your mother," and it cannot be denied. Thus, for the yogi who knows this, in that instant when awareness is separated from its support, consciousness is propelled by the wind of wisdom, and a path arises from the crown of the head, leading to the palace of the Dharmadhatu or the pure Sambhogakaya realm. Therefore,

Such are called the luminosity of death, the luminosity of self-nature, the luminosity of fruition, and the ultimate Dharmakaya. Secondly, the intermediate state of escorting and welcoming is: if one is not accustomed to such luminosity, because of being accustomed to the guru yoga and so on, escorting and welcoming will occur at the time of death, which has six types: the escorting of the blessing guru, the escorting of the yidam who grants accomplishments, the escorting of the dakini who removes obstacles, the escorting of the spiritual friends who accomplish favorable conditions, the escorting of the oral transmission that introduces experiences, and the escorting of the wish-fulfilling jewel dharma protectors. Other escorting will occur. Among them, the first is the guru's: also, by diligently practicing the guru yoga, the blessing meditative guru will send off. In the future, it will appear, and the self-nature guru will not blame. In the two stages of escorting and welcoming, free from the imprints of the six realms, in the intermediate state of dharmata, the mind and Dharmakaya recognize each other as non-dual, thereby manifesting perfect enlightenment. Similarly, apply to all the yidam, dakini, dharma protectors, vajra spiritual friends, and oral transmission wish-fulfilling jewel. Thirdly, the final connecting intermediate state has three types: because the habit of guru yoga and so on is slightly insufficient, unable to abide, fear arises in the meditation of luminosity, the root of the three winds is bound by ignorance, and one wanders in the intermediate state. Therefore, one should connect with the key points. That is, the appearance of death is like the rising of the moon, and when it is withdrawn, it is the life-sustaining wind. Growth is like the rising of the sun, and when it is withdrawn, it is the wind channel that dwells with fire. Obtaining is like the rising of dawn, and when it is withdrawn, it is the wind that separates essence and dross. When luminosity is withdrawn, it becomes ignorance. Thus, the root of the three winds is bound by ignorance, and riding on the wind of karma, when it comes out from any of the nine gates, if one has not practiced before, the wind is dominant, and consciousness is involuntarily taken away, wandering in the intermediate state and so on. If one has practiced before, one will connect, and consciousness is powerful, so one will go to the heavens and other familiar places. Secondly, the intermediate state of the three times and three lineages has three types: the intermediate state of perfect qualities.
