With the intention to receive the ripening empowerment of tantra and to practice the two stages of yoga that liberate, I generate the supreme mind of enlightenment. Please listen with proper conduct for listening to the Dharma. Here, it is said that the Dharma of definitive and interpretable meaning and the history of the lineage, the wish-fulfilling jewel, will be extensively explained, but since that is not possible, it will be summarized. We have obtained the precious human body, difficult to find, endowed with eight freedoms and ten endowments, a special bodily support that is better than the gods. We have met the Lama, the virtuous friend, who is difficult to meet, endowed with qualities. We have heard the holy Dharma, difficult to hear, in general, and in particular the Great Vehicle. The most essential of these is the profound Dharma of Secret Mantra Vajrayana, which is difficult to appear in the three times, and this is even more wonderful than a poor person finding a wish-fulfilling jewel. However, if we do not quickly strive to practice, in general, all compounded things are impermanent. In particular, the life of beings is even more easily destroyed than lightning in the sky and bubbles in water, so there is no certainty that we will not die even today. After death, consciousness follows after good and evil, and is born in higher realms and lower realms. From the peak of existence to the hell realms, there is no escape from the nature of the three sufferings. From beginningless time until now, we have taken countless bodies and experienced immeasurable suffering. If we still wander in the endless cycle of existence and experience that much suffering, it is first important to strongly generate renunciation and the mind of definite emergence from this ocean of suffering that is samsara. To be liberated from samsara, entrust your mind to the Lama and the Three Jewels, and take refuge. By accomplishing the ten virtuous actions in accordance with the Lesser Vehicle, happiness in higher realms is attained, and if that is grasped by the mind of enlightenment, it will become a cause for attaining Buddhahood. If the ten non-virtuous actions are practiced, immeasurable suffering in the lower realms will be experienced, so accomplish as much virtue as possible. Abandoning sin and non-virtue, even at the cost of one's life, is the practice of the holy Dharma. Furthermore, from the aspect of the body, build the three supports; strive in prostrations and circumambulation; from the aspect of speech, read the profound sutras, tantras, and dharani mantras; strive in recitation, repetition, and supplication; from the aspect of mind...
