If you realize the earth is an illusion but do not realize the body is an illusion. The third, showing the time when samsara ceases, is that you must practice the illusory body. There are three points to this, the first is to practice the pure illusory body as an illusion: In this impure time, this itself appears but has no self-nature, like an image appearing in a mirror, just as one's own image appears in a mirror, even if praised or criticized, there is no discrimination of liking or disliking, similarly, one should think of praise or criticism of oneself in the same way. One should know that the eight worldly dharmas are like the example of illusion. Hearing unpleasant words, one should know that it is like an echo in the valley, and practice without displeasure. This is how to practice the impure illusory body. Second, practicing the pure illusory body as an illusion: Visualize all the Tathagatas, such as the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya, appearing like images in a mirror, appearing but without self-nature. Practice visualizing all the container and contents of the world as the illusory deity body. Appearing in this way is practicing the pure illusory body. Third, practicing the illusory body as an illusion by combining the two: From sentient beings to Buddhas, these various appearances are not truly existent, because at the time of appearance, their self-nature is emptiness. Like a magician, when reciting mantras such as Om (藏文:ཨཾ,梵文天城体:अं,梵文罗马拟音:aṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡)gu saṃ (藏文:གུ་སཾ,梵文天城体:गुसं,梵文罗马拟音:gusaṃ,汉语字面意思:古桑)gu, etc. on objects such as sheepskin drums and monkey tails, images of horses, cattle, men, women, etc. will appear, but at the time of appearance, nothing is actually established. It is not that something that originally existed has disappeared, but that one recognizes that something that does not exist is non-existent. Similarly, before, during, and after the manifestation of horses and cattle, horses and cattle have never existed. The initial birth, the intermediate dwelling, and the final cessation are all emptiness. Therefore, it is a false appearance, although it is not truly existent, it is merely an appearance. Similarly, in the appearance of the deluded mind, various appearances of samsara and nirvana will also appear, but at the time of appearance, they are not actually established, and their self-nature is emptiness. So, what is appearance? It is not that it appears because it exists, but that it appears due to the aggregation of the causes and conditions of karma and habitual tendencies. However, before discrimination arises, the false appearance will not disappear. When discrimination arises, it will go to a state that has never existed, it is not that something that originally existed has later disappeared, but that one recognizes that something that does not exist is non-existent. Therefore, the current
