Generate definitive understanding. Based on that, one will believe in the law of cause and effect and abandon wrong views. Second, relying on the experience of the path, establish all paths as one vehicle: Relying on the gathering of leisure and endowment, viewing permanence and annihilation, viewing the self as material, holding Brahma, Ishvara, etc., as the creators of the world, and atoms and elements as causes, the inexpressible self, the Vaibhashikas, the Sutrantikas, the Mind-Only views, etc., when various experiences arise, all of this is based on the way the leisure and endowment continue, and it is only born from one's own experience, so it is a mistaken appearance, but in reality, it is not established as true, so there is not the slightest difference between vehicles, generate definitive understanding and meditate. Based on that, one will realize one vehicle. Third, relying on the appearance of the experience of letters, generate special faith, respect, and joy towards the Buddha: The union of the heart's A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) air and mind is the Dharmakaya, and the union of the five seed syllables of the heart with air and mind gives rise to the experience of the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya, and when one understands that this is the nature of the three bodies, this is the experience of the non-real Buddha, and when one becomes a Buddha, the qualities that are superior to this are the source of inconceivable things, generate faith and respect, and the joy of thinking that it would be great if I could also obtain it, again and again. Third, through the door of unchangeable spontaneous accomplishment, meditate on the definitive understanding that the result, samsara and nirvana, are inseparable: The basis of the cause, leisure and endowment, naturally has the seeds of the four bodies, and when it manifests, the four bodies are spontaneously accomplished, so the result is spontaneous accomplishment. That cause is the nature and manner of samsara, so it is samsara. While that nature remains, the inconceivable qualities of the four bodies manifest, which is the quality of transforming the four bodies by the path of the leisure and endowment, so it is called the transformation of the place, nirvana. In terms of nature, it is spontaneous accomplishment, and in terms of qualities, it is the transformation of the place, so there is no contradiction, and the result also arises with the definitive understanding that it is inseparable from the nature and the transformation of the place. If that definitive understanding arises, then the view of hearing and thinking will be perfected, and the meditation will arise.

It is called the arising of a little wisdom. The instructions on the Kunzhi (basis of all) cause and effect lineage have been taught. Second, in order to generate certainty about the path, practice the body-method continuum, which is the path of the four empowerments: vase, secret, wisdom, and fourth. First, the activity of the generation stage, and within that, the first of the two, knowing and holding the mind, is: Before entering practice, receive the empowerment of the path-time from the lama and restore the vows. If the lama is not present, extensively create the self-entry mandala for practice. Abandoning unfavorable conditions and having arranged favorable equipment, enter into practice, that is, meditate on the outer and inner generation stages and recite as many of the four hundred thousand recitations of the deity as possible. Perform a peaceful fire offering of one-tenth of that. Second is: In the outer and inner generation stages, without being interrupted by ordinary conceptual thoughts, meditate briefly on clarity, peace, and intensity, and at the very end of complete perfection, having preceded with the three points of crucial importance, visualize all the deities as appearing but without inherent existence, like reflections in a mirror. In particular, visualize the wisdom eye in the middle of the eyebrows, and focus the mind on it with one-pointed concentration. If it is clear, keep it clear, cut off distractions, and completely place the mind on another object. Visualize it clearly again and meditate. If it is not clear, keep it unclear and cut off distractions. Relax the effort a little and meditate again. If it is still not clear, look at the written wisdom eye in the middle of the eyebrows and visualize it clearly. If it still does not become clear, write the wisdom eye in the middle of your forehead and place a very clear mirror in front of you at an appropriate distance and height, and look at it. Then close your eyes and meditate. Then look again. Then meditate again. By doing this repeatedly, the object of focus will become clear. By meditating in this way, if clarity arises in what you want to be clear, then the purity of each deity reaches its own place. If you want the clarity to disappear and you are able to make it disappear, then the purity of suchness reaches its own place. Relying on these, the arising of a special experience of calm abiding is the purity of self-awareness reaching its own place. Train the path in this way. Relying on it, cultivate the three essences of the view that arises from it. If the mind is focused on objects such as the eyes, then it is the aspect of appearance. If no object appears and only an experience of emptiness arises, then it is the aspect of emptiness. If the mind is focused on the signs of duality, then it is the essence of union.
