hā maitriye svāhā and oṃ maitriye svāhā, whichever is fine. The fourteenth is, oṃ vāgīśvari mūṃ. The fifteenth is, oṃ vajradhṛkrak hūṃ hūṃ. The sixteenth is, oṃ dharmakāya siddhi hūṃ. Thus, oṃ āḥ hūṃ. Recite each of these as much as possible, hundreds or thousands of times. Alternatively, recite only the six-syllable mantra for all of them, focusing primarily on the six-syllable mantra. At that time, the visualization is: one's own outer appearance is the inconceivable form of Great Compassion, each pore of the body is an inconceivable realm, and in each of those realms, there are inconceivable Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, residing like dust motes in sunbeams, and from the mouths of all of them, the sound of the six-syllable mantra resounds. Moreover, visualize that the sounds of the four elements—earth, water, fire, and wind—residing in each of those realms, and all the sentient beings who depend on them, appear as manifestations of Great Compassion, resounding with the sound of the six-syllable mantra. Whatever appears, see it as the form of the deity; whatever sounds, hear it as the six-syllable mantra; whatever thoughts arise, regard them as the heart of Great Compassion, the essence of emptiness and compassion. Engaging in recitation without separating from this profound method of practice is an inconceivable accumulation of merit. The reasons for this are explained in detail in the sūtra of the Ornament of Zamatok, etc. The second is: straighten the body, expel impure air, and rest a little. Then, inhale air through both nostrils, with the sound of oṃ, and visualize the bodhicitta bindu residing in the heart, with the sound of āḥ, and then exhale from there, with the sound of hūṃ, striving to practice the vajra recitation that combines these sounds inseparably. In general, the completion stage here corresponds to the completion stage of the Yeshe Zhap tradition, the four-bindu stages, and in particular, the method of meditating on the indestructible bindu in the heart, taking ultimate coemergent joy as the dominant factor, and because the two bodhicitta bindus here converge into one meaning. Therefore, for this method, one should thoroughly understand the great treatises and instructions of the Yeshe Zhap tradition, and by comparing them with each other, generate certainty, as the later lamas have said. The third, the subsequent practice, is: when beginning to rise from that session, recite the hundred-syllable mantra as much as possible to stabilize...
