Ser Khyer. In short, for the scalp and so on, this body, inside and out, all that can be eaten, all that can be drunk, all that can be enjoyed, do not be stingy, enjoy it to the fullest. Make it peaceful, make it destroyed. Make it collapse, cut off its root. Chop chop, chew chew, all that is mine, cut cut, chop chop, all that is mine, smash smash, pound pound, all that is mine. Hūṃ Jaḥ, clear this, make it non-existent. The wheel of samsara, cut off its continuation. The heap of bad karma, cut off its descendants. In the past, this body was cherished, now destroy yourself. Fierce destroyer with power, evil one who enjoys flesh and blood, life-taking executioner Samaya. (Tibetan: ས་མ་ཡ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: समय, Sanskrit Romanization: samaya, Literal Chinese meaning: Vow) May you chop me up. Superior to the Buddhas of the three times, if you do not chop me up, each will be destroyed by their own karma. Now knowing, with destruction, I want to complete the accumulation and liberate the bonds. If not liberated from it, here all the flesh-eating mothers, wind and bile and phlegm, and the collection of disease and, unbearable intense suffering, send down. In the phenomenal world of samsara and nirvana, all that is undesirable, send all of it upon me. May all beings' afflictions, karma, and suffering of samsara be cleansed. Definitely, may the suffering of all sentient beings ripen in my own heart, right now. By this cause, may all beings, uproot the cause and effect of bad karma, may abandonment and realization be perfectly complete. All the virtues that I have, dedicate all to all beings. By this cause, may all beings have perfect realization. Thus, may all beings, obtain the perfection of abandonment and realization, the glory of love and great compassion, when the one Dharma is obtained, by the two accumulations arising from it, how can oneself remain in samsara? However, before enlightenment is attained, the causes and effects of afflictions to be experienced, may they ripen in this life's continuum. The causes and effects of afflictions in this life, may they ripen this year. May it ripen this month. May it ripen today. May it ripen this instant. Today, when experiencing intense stinging pain from short awls and so on, this disease is the disease of all beings, I have taken it as a special burden. Now it is coming upon me. Giving and taking has reached the essential point.

Alala ho, I am so happy! Surely all beings are happy, I have taken the suffering upon myself. Now I have cut off hope, Even just the arising of illness, Will gather unnecessary illnesses. I have cut off sickness, I have cut off heat, I have cut off hunger, thirst, and cold. Even if illness arises in the body, Increase the joy of the mind. From the stages of mind-training bodhisattvas, The Dharma of increasing the power of contaminated virtue is complete. Homage! Lama Serlingpa gave to Jowo (Atisha) the Dharma for subduing the borderlands. Lord Serlingpa said: Jowo, you need these Dharmas for subduing the borderlands. All thoughts are completely destroyed, All antidotes are completely subdued. All intentions are gathered into one, All paths are completely cut off. The four Dharmas of antidote purification, Are necessary for subduing the borderlands. Enduring the evil deeds of bad companions, Is necessary in the degenerate age. Bad circumstances are virtuous friends, Demons are emanations of the Victorious Ones. Sickness is the broom of sins and obscurations, Suffering is the awakening of the nature of reality. The four Dharmas of pervasive afflictions, Are necessary for subduing the borderlands. Happiness is a great beginning, Suffering is a great ending. Being sick is a great attendant, Living alone is a lonely friend. The four Dharmas of antidote reversal, Are necessary for subduing the borderlands. I am the root of bad karma, It is the Dharma to be abandoned far away. Others are the source of enlightenment, It is the Dharma to be embraced and accepted. The four Dharmas of abandonment, antidote, and conclusion, Are necessary for subduing the borderlands. Look at evil with an evil gaze, Hit lice with lice, and gently let go. In this way, one will not be bound, but will be liberated. Thus it was said. Homage! The Dharma of transforming afflictions into the path. Namo Ratna Guru! The key to transforming strong attachment and aversion thoughts into the path by relying on the two bodhicittas. It is said that the tantras explain how to transform afflictions into the path. Afflictions themselves cannot become the path. By targeting afflictions and then transforming them through reversal, it is also extensively taught in the Sutras. The key to that is first
