If one is born in the lower realms, there are immeasurable sufferings in hell, such as heat and cold. As the noble Nagarjuna said: 'The suffering of being stabbed violently by three hundred short spears in one day in this world, that does not even come close to a small part of the suffering of hell, one would not even dare to approach it.' So it is said. There are also many sufferings such as hunger and thirst for pretas. In the preta realm, there is also the continuous and unchanging suffering caused by the lack of desire, the suffering caused by hunger, thirst, cold, heat, fatigue and fear, which is extremely unbearable, one should practice. So it is said. Animals also have sufferings such as eating each other. In the birthplace of animals, there are also various sufferings such as killing, binding, and beating. For those who abandon peaceful virtues, eating each other is extremely unbearable.' So it is said, therefore one should strive to abandon sins. If one does not transform virtuous deeds into the path of liberation, even if one is born in a happy realm through merit and unwavering karma, some of them will have great suffering, and those without such suffering will die from there and be reborn to experience the suffering of hell and so on. The pleasure of desire in the heavenly realm is extremely great, and after obtaining the pleasure of the desirelessness of Brahma, one becomes the firewood of the fire of Avici hell again, one should practice the continuous suffering. ' So it is said. In short, the nature of samsara is suffering. Lord Maitreya said: 'Just as there is no fragrance in impure things, there is no happiness in the five realms. Its suffering is always like the touch produced by fire, weapons, salt, etc.' So it is said, therefore one should strive to seek the means of liberation. The noble Nagarjuna said: 'If a fire suddenly breaks out on one's head or clothes, one should also abandon the actions taken to extinguish that fire, and strive to prevent rebirth, there is no more important thing than this.' So it is said. Therefore, in order to be liberated from samsara, please generate from the depths of your heart the thought of striving to practice the Dharma. Second, refuting the attachment to the extreme of peaceful nirvana: Although one is liberated from samsara, for the benefit of others, pursuing the nirvana without remainder of the aggregates that cuts off the continuum, is like seeing one's mother being washed away by the water, and having the ability to save her but not saving her.
