嘴里装不进去东西。即使稍微装进去一点，食物也会掉到宽阔的腮帮子里。喝的东西被嘴里强烈的毒气晒干。即使吞下食物，像弓弦一样细的喉咙也无法通过。即使通过了，因为肚子只有那么大，也没有肚子饱的时候。有饮食障碍的饿鬼，吃喝的东西都会变成肚子里的火焰燃烧。从一开始就只能吃不干净的大小便、脓血等，只能吃恶心的、痛苦的东西，根本找不到好的东西。总的来说，所有这些饿鬼总是遭受难以忍受的饥渴之苦。没有衣服，被热烤，被冷冻，痛苦无法估量。寒冷的冬天，阳光也帮助寒冷。炎热的夏天，月光也烤人。下雨的时候，感觉像下火雨一样燃烧。总是因为寻找食物而疲惫不堪，因为没有食物，身体变得像干枯了一样。三百六十块骨头互相碰撞，像石头摩擦一样，火舌噼啪作响。因为互相成为仇敌， 也有被抓住、捆绑、殴打、砍断的恐惧。以盲人摸象的方式，无依无靠地在极度恐惧中逃跑。像这样的痛苦非常沉重，大多数饿鬼的寿命长达一万五千年。观修的结尾和之后的行为与之前相同。这是第十三个观修段落。即使不包括在那里，现在也有专门观修这些散落在空中游荡的饿鬼的传统。如果这样做，因为伤害他人，会再次堕入恶道。即使想到顺路，也会因为强烈的毒气而伤害他人。殴打强大的巫师，并与喜爱的女子混合。据说，当发生不好的事情时，心中会产生痛苦等等。即使不单独进行这个观修段落，也可以重复之前的那个。第三是思考畜生的痛苦。畜生有聚集的和分散的两种。聚集的住在广阔的海洋中，是庇护所。

Nothing can be put in the mouth. Even if a little is put in, the food falls into the wide cheek pouches. Drinks are dried up by the strong poison in the mouth. Even if food is swallowed, it cannot pass through the throat, which is as thin as a bowstring. Even if it passes, because the stomach is only so big, there is no time when the stomach is full. Those with obstacles to food and drink, whatever they eat and drink turns into a fire burning in their stomachs. From the very beginning, they can only eat unclean feces, pus, blood, etc., and only disgusting and painful things, and they can never find anything good. In general, all these pretas always suffer unbearable hunger and thirst. Without clothes, they are scorched by heat and frozen by cold, and their suffering is immeasurable. In the cold winter, even the sunlight helps the cold. In the hot summer, even the moonlight scorches them. When it rains, it feels like a rain of fire burning them. They are always exhausted from the busyness of searching for food, and because they have no food, their bodies become like withered ones. The three hundred and sixty bones collide with each other, and like stones rubbing together, flames crackle. Because they become enemies to each other, there is also the fear of being caught, bound, beaten, and cut off. In the manner of the blind leading the blind, they flee in great fear without any support. Such suffering is very heavy, and most pretas live for as long as fifteen thousand years. The conclusion of the contemplation and the subsequent actions are the same as before. This is the thirteenth contemplation section. Even though they are not included there, there is now a tradition of specifically contemplating these scattered pretas wandering in the sky. If this is done, because of harming others, they will fall into the lower realms again. Even if one thinks of a shortcut, others will be harmed by the strong poison. They beat powerful sorcerers and mix with beloved women. It is said that when bad things happen, suffering arises in the mind, etc. Even if this contemplation section is not done separately, it is sufficient to repeat the previous one. The third is to contemplate the suffering of animals. Animals are of two types: those that gather and those that scatter. Those that gather live in the vast ocean, which is a place of refuge.
