ཤི་བས་མི་ཆོག་དབང་མེད་དུ་སྐྱེ་བ་ལེན་དགོས་པས་འདི་ཁོ་ན་སྐྲག །དགེ་བ་ནི་མ་བྱས་སྡིག་པ་ནི་ངན་སོང་གསུམ་དུ་སྐྱེ་སྟེ་འོང་ངོ༌། ཅི་རང་གྲགས་སྙམ་དུ་བསམ། འདི་ངན་སོང་གི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བསམ་པའི་དམིགས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་སྒོ་ཡིན། དེ་ནས་ཚ་དམྱལ་གྱི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བསམ་པ་ལ། སྡོམ་ནི། ཡང་སོས་ཐིག་ནག་བསྡུས་འཇོམས་དང༌། ངུ་འབོད་ངུ་འབོད་ཆེན་པོ་དང༌། །ཚ་བ་རབ་ཚ་མནར་མེད་པའོ། །དེ་ལ་ཚ་དམྱལ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་གནས་ས་གཞི་རི་མེད་ཀླུང་མེད་ལྕགས་བསྲེག་ཡིན་པ། མེ་ལྕེ་ཁྲུ་གང་ཙམ་རྟག་ཏུ་འབར་བ། རི་རོང་ངམ་གྲོག་སལ་སུལ་ཁོ་ནས་ཁྱབ་པ། ཟངས་ཞུན་ནམ་ཁྲོ་ཆུའམ་ཞ་ཉེ་བཞུ་བ་དང༌། ལན་ཚྭ་རྣོན་པོ་སོགས་འགྱུར་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཆུ་ཚན་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཚ་བ་དང༌། དེ་འདྲའི་རིགས་ཀྱི་འབབ་ཆུ་དང་མཚོ་ཡོད་པ། ཤིང་རྣམས་ཀྱང་ལྕགས་བསྲེགས་སོགས་ལས་གྲུབ་པ། གདུག་པའི་བྱ་དང་གཅན་གཟན་དང་ལས་ཀྱི་སྲིན་པོ་དང་གཤིན་རྗེ་དུ་མས་གང་བ་ཞིག་ཡོད་དོ། །དེར་སྐྱེ་བའི་བར་དོ་རྣམས་ཆར་རླུང་གིས་འདས་པ་སོགས་གྲང་བའི་རྣམ་པ་ཆེར་བྱུང་ནས་ལས་ཀྱི་དབང་གིས་ཚ་དམྱལ་གྱི་གནས་མཐོང་བས། དེར་དྲེ་བར་ཤེས་ནས་སྲེད་པས་རྒྱུགས་པས་གནས་དེར་ཚུད་ནས་སྐྱེ་བ་ལེན་པར་བཤད། དེ་ཡང་མེ་ཕལ་པ་བས་ཙན་དན་གྱི་མེ་བདུན་འགྱུར་གྱིས་ཚ། དེ་བས་ཀྱང་ ཡང་སོས་ཀྱི་མེ་བདུན་འགྱུར་གྱིས་ཚ། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་གོང་མ་གོང་མ་ལས་འོག་མ་འོག་མ་བདུན་འགྱུར་གྱིས་ཚ་བར་གྲགས། དམྱལ་བའི་འགྲོ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་རིག་པ་ཚོར་ངས་སྐྱེན་ཅིང་སྒྲིན་པ། ལུས་འཇམ་ཞིང་མཉེན་ལ་གཞོན་ཤ་ཆགས་པ། ལུས་སེམས་གཉིས་ཀའི་ཆ་ནས་བཟོད་སྲན་ཆུང་བ་ཞིག་ཡོད། དེས་ཀྱང་ལྷག་པར་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཆེ། གནས་དེ་དག་ཏུ་བཞིན་ལག་དབང་པོ་ཐམས་ཅད་སྐད་ཅིག་ལ་ཁྲོང་གི་སྐྱེ་སྟེ། གཉིད་སད་པ་འདྲ་བ་ཞིག་ཡོད་པར་གདའ། དམྱལ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་རྫུས་སྐྱེས་ཡིན། རྫུས་སྐྱེས་ཕལ་ཆེར་གྱི་ལུགས་ལ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་འབྱུང༌། སྡུག་བསྔལ་མི་འདྲ་བ་སོ་སོའི་ཁྱད་པར་ནི། ཡང་སོས་ན་ཕན་ཚུན་དགྲ་མི་ཤ་པོ་མཐོང་བ་བཞིན་ཞེ་སྡང་སྐྱེ་ལ། ལག་ཏུ་བླངས་ཚད་མཚོན་ཆ་རྣོན་པོར་སོང་ནས་གཅིག་ལ་གཅིག་གིས་བསྣུན་པས་དུམ་བུ་མང་པོར་སོང་བ་ན། རེ་ཞིག་ཤི་བ་བཞིན་དུ་བརྒྱལ་ཞིང་འགྱེལ་འགྲོ །ནམ་མཁའ་ལས་རླུང་གྲང་མོ་དང༌། ཡང་སོས་གྱུར་ཅིག་ཅེས་པའི་སྒྲ་བྱུང་བ་ན་སོས་པར་འགྱུར་ཞིང༌། ཡང་སྔོན་བཞིན་འཐབ་པ་སོགས་ཡང་ཤི་ཡང་སོས་ལ་ཟད་པ་མེད་པའི་ཚུལ་དུ་ཡོད། ཐིག་ནག་ནི་གཤིན་རྗེ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་དམྱལ་བའི་སེམས་ཅན་དེའི་ལུས་ལ་ཐིག་ནག་པོ་མང་པོ་བཏབ་སྟེ་སོགས་ལེས་གཅོད་པ་དང༌། སྟེའུས་གཞོག་པ་དང༌། མཚོན་ཆ་རྣོན་པོས་འགྲབ་སོགས་ཡོད་དེ། དེ་ཡང་སྟོད་བཏུབས་ཙ་ན་སྨད་འགྲིག །སྨད་བཏུབས་ཙ་ན་སྟོད་འགྲིག །ཚུལ་དེ་ཀས་གྲུབ་ཟིན་མེད་པ་ལས་དུས་འདའ་བའོ། །བསྡུས་འཇོམས་ནི། ལུས་ཐུག་སོགས་སྲོག་ཆགས་ཆེན་པོ་མི་བཟད་པ་འཐབ་པའི་བར་དུ་གཅེར་བ་དང༌། ཡང་ན་བྲག་རི་ལུག་གི་གདོང་དང་རའི་གདོང་པ་མ་ཧེ་དང་སེང་གེ་ལ་སོགས་པ་འཇིགས་སུ་རུང་བའི་རྣམ་པ་ཅན་གྱི་བར་དུ་གཅེར་བ་དང༌། རི་ཆེན་པོས་སྟེང་ནས་བཙིར་ཞིང་འཇོམས་པ་དང༌། ལྕགས་ཀྱི་གཏན་པ་དཔག་ཚད་མང་པོ་ཅན་གྱི་སྟེང་དུ་དམྱལ་བའི་སེམས་ཅན་མང་པོ་ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་བསྡུས་ནས། རི་བོ་ཙམ་གྱི་གཏུན་ནམ་ཐོ་བས་འཇོམས་ཤིང་འཐག་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །རི་ཁ་གྱེས་པའམ་གཏུན་ཤིང་སོགས་བཏེག་ན། ཡང་སྔར་བཞིན་ སོས་པར་འགྱུར་ལ། ཡང་བསྣུན་ཅིང་བཙིར་བ་ན། ལུས་ཕྱེ་མར་འཐག་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །ངུ་འབོད་ནི། སྲོག་ཆགས་འཇིགས་སུ་རུང་བ་དུ་མས་འདས་པ་ན། རྒྱང་རིང་པོ་ནས་ཁང་པ་དཀར་པོ་ཞིག་མཐོང་ནས། དེ་བདེའོ་སྙམ་ནས་དེར་རྒྱུགས་ཏེ་ནང་དུ་ཕྱིན་པ་ན། ལྕགས་ཀྱི་ཁང་པ་སྒོ་མེད་དུ་གྱུར་ནས་ཕྱི་ནང་ཀུན་ཏུ་མེ་འབར་ཞིང་བསྲེགས་པས་ཐར་པའི་གོ་སྐབས་མེད་ཅིང་དྲག་ཏུ་ངུ་བར་བྱེད་པའོ། །ངུ་འབོད་ཆེན་པོ་ཡང་དེ་དང་འདྲ་བ་ལས་ལྕགས་ཀྱི་ཁང་པ་ཉིས་རིམ་དུ་ཡོད་པའོ། །ལྕགས་ཀྱི་བུམ་པའི་ནང་དུ་འཚེད་པ་དང༌། ཟངས་ཆེན་པོར་འཚེད་པ་སོགས་ཀྱང་དེ་དག་ན་ཡོད་དོ། །ཚ་བ་ནི། ལྕགས་ཀྱི་གསལ་ཤིང་ངམ་མདུང་ཐུང་རྣོན་པོ་མེ་འབར་བས་སྤྱི་བོས་ནས་བཤང་ལམ་མམ། བཤང་ལམ་ནས་སྤྱི་བོར་ཐལ་ཕྱུང་དུ་ཕུག་ནས་ནང་ཁྲོལ་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་ཚིག །བུ་ག་དགུ་ནས་མེ་དང་དུད་པ་བརྒྱུད་མར་འབྱུང་བའོ། །རབ་ཏུ་ཚ་བ་ཡང་དེ་དང་འདྲ་བ་ལས་མདུང་རྩེ་གསུམ་པ་ལ་སོགས་པས་བསྣུན་པའོ། །གོང་མ་གོང་མའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཐམས་ཅད་འོག་མ་འོག་མ་ལ་ཡོད་ཅིང༌། འོག་མ་འོག་མའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་དུ་བཤད་པ་རྣམས་ལྷག་པའོ། །མནར་མེད་ཀྱི་གནས་ན་ནི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཚད་བཟུང་དུ་མེད་དེ། བདེ་བའི་གོ་སྐབས་ཅུང་ཟད་ཙམ་ཡང་མེད་དོ། །གནས་དེ་ན་ལྕགས་བསྲེགས་ཀྱི་འདབ་མ་ལ་འདུས་ཐམས་ཅད་འགྲིལ་བ་དང༌། ལྕགས་ཀྱི་ཞིབ་མ་ཆེན་པོར་བྱེ་ཚན་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་འཁྲབ་པ་དང༌། ལྕེ་ལ་རྨོས་དོར་ལྔ་བརྒྱས་རྨོས་པ་སོགས་ཀྱང་ཡོད་པར་བཤད་ལ། མེར་མེའི་སྡོང་བུ་ལ་མེ་འབར་བ་ལྟར་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཕྱི་ནང་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་མེ་འབར་བས་མེ་ལྕེ་དང་སྲོག་ཆགས་དབྱེ་བ་མི་ཕྱེད་དོ། སྨྲེ་སྔགས་འདོན་པ་ཙམ་ལས་སེམས་ན་ཡོད་པར་རྗེས་སུ་དཔག་གོ །དེ་ལྟར་སྡུག་བསྔལ་དོས་དྲག་ཚུལ་དེ་བཞིན་ཡིན་ལ། ཡུན་ཚད་རིང་བ་ནི། མངོན་པ་ལས། མི་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ལོ་ལྔ་བཅུ་ལ། །འདོད་པ་ དག་གི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ལས། །འོག་མ་དག་གི་ཉིན་ཞག་གཅིག །དེས་ན་ཚེ་ལོ་བརྒྱའོ། །གོང་མ་གཉིས་ཀ་ཉིས་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཅེས་དང༌། ཡང་སོས་ལ་སོགས་དྲུག་རིམ་བཞིན། །འདོད་ལྷའི་ཚེ་དང་ཉིན་ཞག་མཉམ། ཅེས་གསུངས་ཏེ། མི་ལོ་ལྔ་བཅུ་ལ་རྒྱལ་ཆེན་བཞིའི་རིས་ཀྱི་ཞག་གཅིག །དེས་རྩིས་པའི་རང་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཐུབ། དེ་ཡོངས་རྫོགས་ཡང་སོས་པའི་ཞག་གཅིག་ཏུ་བྱས། དེའི་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ནི། ཡང་སོས་པའི་ཚེ་ཚད་ཡིན་ལ། འོག་མ་རྣམས་ལོ་གྲངས་ཡང་ཉིས་འགྱུར་ཉིས་འགྱུར་དུ་འཕེལ་ཞིང༌། ཞག་གྲངས་ཀྱང་ཉིས་འགྱུར་ཀྱིས་རིང་བས་གོང་མ་གོང་མའི་བཞི་འགྱུར་འོག་མ་འོག་མ་ལ་ཡོད་པར་ཤེས་པར་བྱའོ། །དམིགས་པའི་འཇུག་སྡོམ་ནི། དེ་ལྟར་སྡུག་བསྔལ་དོས་ནི་དྲག །ཡུན་ནི་རིང༌། ད་ལྟ་མེ་ཕྲ་མོ་གཅིག་ལ་སོར་མོའི་རྩེ་མོ་ཙམ་ཡང་ཡུད་ཙམ་རེ་ཡང་འཇོག་ཏུ་མི་བཏུབ་ན་ནམ་ཞིག་དེ་ལྟ་བུ་རང་གི་ཐོབ་ཏུ་བབས་ན། བཟོད་པའི་གོ་སྐབས་ཅུང་ཟད་ཀྱང་མི་འདུག་སྟེ། ལན་གཅིག་དེར་སྐྱེས་ཟིན་ནས་ཟློག་པའི་ཐབས་མེད། ད་ལྟ་ཟློག་པའི་ཐབས་ཡོད་དེ་དེར་སྐྱེ་བའི་རྒྱུ་ལས་ངན་སྡིག་པ་དག་སྦྱངས་ན་ཟློག་པའི་ཐབས་ཁོ་ན་ཡིན། དེར་མི་སྐྱེ་བའི་ཕྱིར་ཆོས་ལ་འབད་དགོས་སྙམ་དུ་བསམ་མོ། །དམིགས་སྐོར་དགུ་པའོ། །ཡང་བློའི་རིམ་པ་དང་བསྟུན་ནས་སོ་སོར་ཕྲལ་ཏེ་དམིགས་སྐོར་འགའ་རེ་བྱས་ཀྱང་མི་རུང་བ་མེད་པ་ལགས། ད་ནི་གྲང་དམྱལ་གྱི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བསམ་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། སྡོམ་ནི། ཆུ་བུར་ཆུ་བུར་རྡོལ་པ་ཅན། །ཨ་ཆུ་ཀྱི་ཧུད་སོ་ཐམ་པ། །ཨུཏྤལ་པདྨ་པད་ཆེར་གས། །ཅེས་སོ། །གྲང་དམྱལ་ཐམས་ཅད་མཐུན་པར་ས་གཞི་རི་ཀླུང་ཐམས་ཅད་གངས་དང་ཆུ་འཁྱགས་ཀྱི་རང་བཞིན་སྐྱབས་སྐྱིབས་ལ་སུལ་ཉུང་བ། རླུང་དང་བུ་ཡུག་འདྲེས་པ་ཆེས་ཤིན་ཏུ་གྲང་བས་རྟག་ཏུ་ཁྱབ་པ། རླུང་གྲང་མོ་རྣམས་ཤ་ལྤགས་ཕུག་ནས་རུས་པའི་གཏིང་དུ་ཡང་འགྲོ་བ་ ཡོད། བརྒྱད་པོ་ཡང་གོང་མ་གོང་མ་ལས་འོག་མ་འོག་མ་བདུན་འགྱུར་གྱིས་གྲངས་བར་བཤད། དེར་སྐྱེ་བའི་སེམས་ཅན་དེ་ཡང་བར་དོའི་སྐབས་སུ་ཐོག་མར་མེ་ནང་དུ་ཚིག་པ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཉམས་བྱུང་ནས་གྲང་བ་འདོད་པའི་སྐབས་སུ་གྲང་དམྱལ་གྱི་གནས་མཐོང༌། དེ་ཕྱོགས་སུ་རྒྱུགས་པས་དེར་ཚུད་ནས་སྐྱེ་བ་ལེན་པར་བཤད། དེ་ལ་ཆུ་བུར་ཅན་ནི། ཆེས་གྲང་བས་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཕྱི་ནང་ཐམས་ཅད་ཆུ་བུར་གྱིས་གང་བའོ། །ཆུ་བུར་བརྡོལ་པ་ཅན་ནི། དེ་བས་ཀྱང་གྲང་བས་ཆུ་བུར་བརྡོལ་ཏེ། ཆུ་སེར་གྱིས་ལུས་ཡོག་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་འཁྱག་པར་འགྲོ་བ་ཡིན་པར་བཤད་ལ། སློབ་སྤྲིང་ལས་ནི་ཆུ་སེར་ལས་སྐྱེས་པའི་སྲོག་ཆགས་ཀྱིས་ལུས་འབུགས་ཤིང་ཟ་བར་ཡང་བཤད་དོ། །ཨ་ཆུ་ཟེར་བ་ནི། སྐད་ཤིབ་ཤིབ་བོར་འབྲུ་དག་ཅན་ཅུང་ཟད་ཐོན་ཙམ་མམ་གྱི་སྨྲེ་སྔགས་འདོན་པ་དང༌། ཀྱི་ཧུད་ཟེར་བ་ནི་དེ་བས་ཀྱང་གྲང་བས་འབྲུ་དག་མི་ཐོན་ཏེ། ཉེན་སྐད་ཕྲ་མོ་ཙམ་འབྱིན་པའོ། །སོ་ཐམ་ཐམ་པ་ནི། དེ་བས་ཀྱང་ཤིན་ཏུ་གྲང་བས་སྐད་མཐོན་པར་ལུས་འདར་བས་སྐོས་ཐག་ཅིང་སོ་བདར་རྡེབ་པའོ། །ཨུཏྤལ་ལྟར་གས་པ་ནི་ལུས་དུམ་བུ་བཞིའམ་བརྒྱད་ལ་སོགས་པར་གས་པ་ཡིན་ལ། པདྨ་ལྟར་གས་པ་ནི། ལུས་དུམ་བུ་བརྒྱ་ལ་སོགས་པར་གས་པ་དང༌། པདྨ་ལྟར་ཆེར་གས་པ་ནི། གྲང་བའི་མཐར་ཐུག་པས་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཆ་ཤས་རེ་རེ་ཡང་དུམ་བུ་བརྒྱ་ཚལ་སྟོང་ཚལ་དུ་གས་པའོ། །ཚེ་ཚད་ནི་ཆུ་བུར་ཅན་ལ་ཁལ་བརྒྱད་ཅུ་འགྲོ་བའི་སྣོད་ཆེན་པོ་སྦྱང་ཞེས་ཟེར་བ་གཅིག་ཏིལ་གྱིས་ཕྱུར་བུར་བཀང༌། ལོ་བརྒྱ་རེ་ནས་ཏིལ་འབྲུ་རེ་ཕྱིར་བསྐྱུར་ན་དེ་ནམ་ཟད་པ་ཙམ་ཆུ་བུར་གྱི་ཚེ་ཐུབ་པར་བཤད། འོག་མ་རྣམས་ལ་ཉི་ཤུ་ཉི་ཤུ་འགྱུར་གྱི་འགྲེས་རྩིབ་ཡིན། འདི་ལ་ཡང་དམིགས་པའི་གཞི་དང་འཇུག་སྡོམས་ཚ་དམྱལ་གྱི་སྐབས་དང་འདྲ། དམིགས་སྐོར་བཅུ་པའོ། །ད་ནི་ཉི་འཁོར་བའི་ སྡུག་བསྔལ་བསམ་ཏེ། འདི་ནི་མངོན་པ་ལས། བརྒྱ་པོ་ཀུན་ལས་ལྷག་བཅུ་དྲུག །འདི་དག་གི་ནི་ངོས་བཞི་ན། །མེ་མ་མུར་དང་རོ་མྱགས་དང༌། །སྤུ་གྲི་ལམ་སོགས་ཆུ་བོ་ཡིན། །ཅེས་འབྱུང༌། དེ་ཡང་དམྱལ་བའི་དངོས་གཞི་ཚ་དམྱལ་བརྒྱད་པོ་རེ་རེ་ལ་ཡང་སོ་སོའི་ཕྱོགས་བཞི་པོ་རྣམས་སུ་ཉེ་འཁོར་བ་བཞི་པོ་འདི་རྣམས་ཚ་ཚང་བ་རེ་རེ་ཡོད་པ་ཡིན། དེ་ཡང་མེ་མ་མུར་གྱི་འོབས་ནི་འོབས་མི་འདག་གིས་གང་བ་ཁ་ཞིང་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཆེ་བ་ཡོད་ཏེ། དེར་དང་པོ་ནས་སྐྱེས་པའམ་ཚ་དམྱལ་དངོས་གཞི་ནས་འཁྱམས་པ་ཡིན་ཀྱང་རུང༌། དམྱལ་བའི་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ནི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཆེ་དྲགས་པས་གཅིག་ཏུ་བློ་ཆགས་ནས་སྡོད་པའི་གནས་མེད། སྐབས་དེར་ཡང་གར་བབ་བབ་ཏུ་བྲོས་པས་མེ་འདག་གི་འོབས་དེར་ཚུད། ལས་ཆེ་ཆུང་གི་མཐུ་ལས་ཕུས་ནུབ་ཙམ་ཙམ། In summary: There are the Reviving Hell, the Black Line Hell, the Crushing Hell, the Crying Hell, the Great Crying Hell, the Extremely Hot Hell, and the Uninterrupted Hell. The location of all the hot hells is a foundation of red-hot iron without mountains or rivers. Flames constantly burn, about a cubit high. It is covered only with valleys or ravines. There is molten copper, or boiling water, or molten lead, and extremely hot metamorphic hot springs with sharp salt, and streams and lakes of such things. The trees are also made of red-hot iron and the like. It is filled with cruel birds, beasts of prey, karmic rakshasas, and many Yamaraja's servants. It is said that the intermediate beings who are born there experience cold phenomena such as rain and wind, and due to the power of karma, they see the place of the hot hells. Knowing that is where they are going, they run there out of craving, enter that place, and take rebirth. Moreover, ordinary fire cannot compare to the fire of sandalwood, which is seven times hotter. The fire of the Reviving Hell is seven times hotter than the fire of sandalwood. Similarly, each higher one is said to be seven times hotter than the one below. It is said that all beings in hell have sharp and agile awareness and senses, their bodies are soft and tender, full of youth, and they lack endurance in both body and mind. Therefore, they suffer even more intensely. In those places, faces, hands, feet, and all senses arise in an instant, as if waking from sleep. All hell beings are born miraculously. This is how most miraculously born beings are. The characteristics of the different sufferings are: In the Reviving Hell, hatred arises towards each other, as if seeing enemies. Whatever they take in their hands turns into sharp weapons, and they strike each other, their bodies breaking into many pieces. They faint and fall down, temporarily as if dead. A cold wind comes from the sky, and the sound "Revive!" arises, and they revive. They fight again as before, and so on, endlessly dying and reviving.
