Yes, its meaning is here. It is arranged as described in the "Bodhisattva Vow Ritual" composed by the glorious Atisha. Second, the ritual for taking the Bodhisattva Vows: One should listen extensively to the Mahayana sutras that extensively explain the precepts of a Bodhisattva, or listen to texts such as the "Bodhisattva Grounds" or the "Compendium of Trainings," as they gather the essence of all Mahayana, which is extremely excellent. At the very least, one should definitely obtain the reading transmission of one sutra such as the "Noble Jewel Cloud Sutra" or the "Akashagarbha Sutra." Having previously cultivated the stages of the "Graded Path" in detail, one has already heard the essence of the Mahayana, but there is no way to avoid hearing one Mahayana sutra from the perspective of expression. Then, the actual taking of the Bodhisattva Vows is as follows: Offerings are arranged in front of the Three Jewels. Bow to the teacher three times and, with palms joined, say: "Teacher, I wish to receive the pure Bodhisattva vows from you. If there is no obstacle, please listen and grant them to me out of compassion for me." One must request in this way three times. If one can remember these words, then the student should make the request himself. Otherwise, one should repeat after the teacher or a friend. Then, the teacher should say this: "Son of good family, listen. Do you wish to liberate beings who have not been liberated, to free those who have not been freed, to release those who have not been released from samsara, to lead those who have not attained nirvana to nirvana, and to ensure that the lineage of the Buddha does not cease?" The student should also answer: "Yes." The teacher should say this: "Therefore, you should stabilize your bodhicitta and stabilize your yidam." And ask: "Is it not for the sake of competing with others?" Answer: "No." And ask: "Is it not because others have forced you to take them?" Answer: "No." Such questions and answers are given. Then, offerings are made with verses such as "Clouds of offerings, universally..." and praised and prostrated to as appropriate with words such as "Protector, possessor of great compassion..." Then, with respect, one makes a request to the teacher, saying: "Teacher,"
