Also needed. It is also possible to accomplish. It should be accomplished right now. It should be accomplished without interruption. This is the unwavering joy and courage towards virtue that is related to the vow of the mind. Combine it with your own mindstream and meditate on it repeatedly. The diligence of application is to immediately engage in virtue with joy, without being swayed by laziness and distraction when actually putting it into practice, and to continue it with joy. The diligence of non-retrogression is that even if warmth signs and benefits do not appear immediately, no matter how long it takes, no matter how much hardship needs to be endured, the joy will not regress at all until the fruit of what was initially engaged in is manifested. Furthermore, some instructions from the Stages of the Teachings say: The diligence of the body is prostrations and circumambulations, etc.; the diligence of speech is recitations and readings, etc.; the diligence of mind is to generally rejoice and strive in virtue, and especially in this Dharma. Therefore, in any case, if diligence is all of these, then I too shall possess diligence. I shall not be swayed by laziness and procrastination, but shall rejoice in virtue, thinking and meditating in this way. The forty-ninth point of focus. Now there is also the perfection of meditation to be done, and one must abide in its causes from now on. For the cause of samadhi, one needs a solitary mind. For that cause, one needs a solitary body. For that cause, one needs few affairs and little activity. For that cause, one needs few desires and contentment. For that cause, one needs to be content with meager food, clothing, lodging, and bedding. If I happen to have wealth, I will not be attached to it, but will meditate on samadhi. If I do not have wealth, then not having wealth is also good, because there is no obstacle to the Dharma. Whatever arises, thinking that it is enough, repeatedly think and meditate. Thus, the thought of the cause of samadhi is gone. The fiftieth point of focus. As for the actual meditation, if it is divided, although there are many different ways of dividing it, the meditation called "abiding in bliss in the present life" is the accomplishment of the bliss of extremely taming body and mind. The meditation called "accomplishing manifest qualities" is what accomplishes clairvoyance and magical powers, etc., from the general and specific aspects. The meditation of benefiting sentient beings
