It is the realm of the vessel. Meditate on the six types of beings residing there as before. Around the perimeter of a thousand such directly arranged, it is again surrounded by one perimeter. Above are the three abodes of Lesser Virtue, Immeasurable Virtue, and Manifest Virtue, the three abodes of the Third Dhyana. Above all of these, it is covered by one abode of Manifest Virtue. That is one world of the Second Thousand Intermediate World, meditate on the six types of beings as before. Again, at the end of a thousand such directly arranged, it is again surrounded by one great perimeter. Each world has a golden earth foundation below. Below each of these, there is a water wheel. A hundred million water wheels rely on one wind wheel. Below is the wind wheel and above is cloudless. Merit-born, great fruit, namely the three ordinary abodes of the Fourth Dhyana. Similarly, add the Non-Great, Non-Afflicted, Manifest Abundance, Extremely Visible, and Akanishtha. That single abode of Akanishtha covers the three thousand from above. That is called the Three Thousand Great Thousand World. There are also countless sentient beings of the Formless Realm, and these are also added. Meditate on the sentient beings of the three realms and six types of beings as before. Then, to the east of this Three Thousand World, there are countless immeasurable Three Thousand Worlds. For example, if one Three Thousand World is filled with mustard seeds, and one seed is taken from those mustard seeds and placed in one Three Thousand World to the east of here. In this way, if each mustard seed is placed in each Three Thousand World, eventually the mustard seeds will be exhausted, but the Three Thousand World to the east will not be exhausted. If it is done again in the same way, the mustard seeds will be exhausted, but the Three Thousand World will not be exhausted. If it is done again, it will be the same. Even if it is done for countless eons, the world will not be exhausted. All of those are filled with the six types of beings. In all of those, as before, meditate from knowing the mother to cultivating loving-kindness. Now, not only to the east, but all of the ten directions are the same. There is absolutely no end to the sky of the ten directions. Wherever the sky pervades, the vessel world pervades. All sentient beings are kind.

are my parents. The number of times they have been parents is immeasurable. Having been so, they have bestowed various benefits and eliminated various harms. May these old mother sentient beings attain happiness! May they attain joy! I shall establish them in unsurpassed happiness and joy, so I contemplate. For them, there are extremely many internal objects of focus, but since they must be guided according to their intelligence, it is somewhat difficult to distinguish the quantity. In order to expand the mind of loving-kindness, the similar objects of focus are gathered into one great object of focus, and it is called the thirty-eighth object of focus. At this time, it is very important to know something about the structure of the container and content world. That completes the guidance of loving-kindness. The second is to cultivate compassion, the preliminary and subsequent practices are the same as before. Observing the state of sentient beings, although these sentient beings should be established in happiness and joy, these sentient beings do not abide in happiness and the cause of happiness, but abide in suffering and the cause of suffering. What they want is happiness, and they do not want suffering, but the result is that happiness does not arise, only suffering arises. Most are abiding in the reality of suffering. Hell has the suffering of heat and cold, the hungry ghosts have the suffering of hunger and thirst, the animals have the suffering of eating each other, and the heavens also have short lives, many diseases, little power, poverty and destitution, servitude and punishment, etc. In reality, one cannot avoid experiencing these sufferings oneself. In general, all beings are engaging in countless causes of suffering. In particular, some beings, even if they are not currently suffering intense unwanted suffering, but because they have accumulated terrible sins, when a breath is cut off, they must immediately be born in hell. These people are more worthy of compassion than those who are currently suffering. If an illusion arises, think, "Alas, what should I do?" For example, one's own root mother, her eyes are blind, her legs are broken, she has no blind man's stick, her crutch is lost, and she is standing on the edge of a cliff about to fall. What should I do? Without regard for anything else, I would rush over and grab my mother from the edge of the cliff. Similarly, these old mother sentient beings, the eyes of wisdom are blind, the legs of skillful means are broken, the virtuous friend
