Acharya Dewa Seljé (བདེ་བ་གསལ་མཛད།) and Acharya Sangye Sangwa (སངས་རྒྱས་གསང་བ།) consider the outer tantras to be divided into Kriya Yoga and Charya Yoga, so there is no need to explain them separately. Second, taking the deity as the path: In the truth of conventional appearance, contemplate the six deities as the body of the three-family protectors. Invite the wisdom being and practice in the manner of a master and servant or a friend. When contemplating the deity, also rest in the empty and clear state free from the four extremes of elaboration, which is the practice of ultimate truth, that is, practicing the two truths alternately. Third, taking the essence as the path: Focus single-mindedly on the sound of the mantra garland arranged on the moon disc in the heart of both the self and the front deity. Recite Oṃ vāgīśvari muṃ (藏文:ༀ་ཝཱ་གཱི་ཤྭ་རི་མུཾ།,梵文天城体:ओम् वागीश्वरि मुम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vāgīśvari muṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡,语自在,穆), Oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (藏文:ༀ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:ओम् मणि पद्मे हुम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡,莲中宝,吽), Oṃ vajra pāṇi hūṃ (藏文:ༀ་བཛྲ་པཱ་ཎི་ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:ओम् वज्र पाणि हुम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra pāṇi hūṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡,金刚手,吽), to stimulate the mind stream. Fourth, taking empowerment as the path: There are twenty-six empowerments of Kriya Yoga, and one must properly learn the thirteen vows of Kriya Yoga and other precepts related to them. Second, the instructions on the practice of meditation on the essence: Here, according to the system of reasoning, one does not regard conventional appearances as true, but transforms the appearance that is merely imputed into a deity and practices it. If one has a small mind, one should contemplate one's own body, which is the result of karma, as a clear and transparent rainbow body without any obstruction. If one has a great mind, one should contemplate oneself as a deity like Manjushri. Whichever of the two objects of focus becomes clear and stable, one should meditate on the three stacked bindus of white, red, and blue from top to bottom on its crown and remain in equipoise. When it is stable, light radiates from the white bindu, purifying the sins and obscurations of the bodies of all sentient beings, and offering pleasing offerings to the Tathagatas. The light gathers back and dissolves into one's own crown, and one contemplates a Manjushri with the color of pure gold, adorned with a sword, an utpala flower, and a book on the crown. Again, light radiates from the red bindu, purifying the speech obscurations of sentient beings, and offering the speech of the noble ones. The light gathers back and dissolves into one's own throat, and one contemplates a white Avalokiteshvara with four arms, the first two hands joined in prayer, and the lower two holding a crystal rosary and a white lotus. Again, light radiates from the blue bindu.

Krodha. Purify the mental obscurations of sentient beings. Offer to the hearts of the noble ones. Gather here, visualize in your own heart a blue Vajrapani holding a vajra and a threatening mudra, with an angry expression. Thus, seal the three doors of body, speech, and mind with the body, speech, and mind of the Tathagatas, and abide in equanimity, this is with signs. As for without signs, purify even the appearance of the deities to the point of being unfindable. The nature of mind is pure, the wisdom of emptiness and clarity, in a state free from the four extremes, cultivate it without rejection or acceptance. As it says in Lashen: "Gradually stabilize appearance and emptiness." Thus, practice taking turns between the two truths. Sixth, the instructions on the vehicle of Yoga have two aspects: general and specific. The first, the first of the four ways of taking the path, is to take the vehicle as the path. The entrance is: to enter through the gate of samadhi with signs and without signs. The view is: to realize that the ultimate nature of reality, which is without signs, is naturally clear light. Therefore, it is believed that its blessings appear as self-manifestations in the mandala of the conventional Vajradhatu. As it says in the Stages of Views: "Yoga is ultimately pure, in the realm of the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, the blessings of realization appear as deities, therefore, beings appear as illusions." The ethics are: mainly based on the explanatory tantras, the vows of the five families are taught; mainly based on the root tantras, the vows of the five deities are taught. And also, one should study and practice in accordance with the level of intelligence of the individual who is the basis. As it says in the Crest: "If one is ordained, one should abide in the three vows: Pratimoksha and Bodhicitta, which are the inner vows of the Vidyadhara. If one acts as a householder, one should always protect the kings of the five families." The meditation is: using the aspect of the result, the state of Buddhahood, as the path, meditating by sealing the wheel of the mandala with the five Abhisambodhis and the four mudras. At the end of the session, release the mudras, invite the wisdom beings to depart, and offer them sustenance, etc. As it says in Self-Arisen: "Deities and yogis themselves are also regarded as brothers and friends." Therefore, regarding oneself as the samaya being and the deity as the wisdom being, without any distinction of high or low, this is the practice of the special action tantra or just the Yoga method, and generating oneself as the great intelligent samaya being, inviting the wisdom being to merge into it, practicing non-duality, is the special Yoga.
