There are three: inner, outer, and both bodies. The first is the internal sense bases, such as the eye, which are form. The second is the external sense bases, such as forms, which are form. The third is the basis of one's own sense faculties and the form of other's sense faculties, because they can be transformed into both cause and sense base. Similarly, for the three, feeling, etc., there are three. They should be understood appropriately from the perspective of the basis and the object. Dharma includes mental factors other than feeling, non-associated compositional factors, and the form included in the dharma sense base, including conditioned and unconditioned things.

Eh! Therefore, because it is considered that defiled dharmas such as attachment should be abandoned, and pure dharmas such as faith should be cultivated, one wants to cultivate the path. This meaning is stated in the Madhyāntavibhāga: "For the greed of bad realms, for the root and non-ignorance, for entering the four truths." Thus it is proclaimed. Fifth, where to cultivate? In the middle of the path of accumulation, after the completion of hearing and thinking, cultivate the impure and mindfulness of breathing in and out, and make the mind capable by the path of shamatha, in order to generate the path of vipassanā. For the remaining parts to be explained, the five divisions just mentioned should also be used to indicate them, so as to understand. Not generating non-virtue, restraining and reversing virtue, desire, diligence, mind and contemplation of samādhi. After the samādhi is achieved, the object of the four right abandonments is cultivated, the category of defilements to be abandoned, and the category of purity to be taken arise, as well as causing the unarisen to arise. The aspect of the object is that for the unarisen sinful non-virtuous dharmas, not to let them arise, and to abandon and restrain those that have arisen. The virtuous dharmas are the opposite, causing the unarisen to arise, and increasing the arisen, so generate desire, initiate diligence, focus the mind extremely, and cause it to abide extremely. The nature of these is the nature of diligence that performs the activity of abandoning what is to be abandoned and increasing the antidote. The desired result is that what is to be abandoned is completely abandoned and the antidote is completely obtained. The boundary is that one cultivates in the middle of the path of accumulation, and when one cultivates by properly relying on the objects of mindfulness, one sees the faults of abandonment and antidote After seeing the merits, one cultivates in order to generate the diligence of taking and abandoning them. Why is it called right abandonment? Because it abandons the unfavorable qualities, it is called that. After that is achieved, the object of the four legs of miraculous power is cultivated, the activity achieved by samādhi, manifestation and transformation, etc. The way to cultivate is as stated in the Madhyāntavibhāga: "Abandoning the five faults, possessing eight actions, arising from dependent causes." Thus, one cultivates with the eight actions of abandoning the five faults, as mentioned above. The nature is that the general nature is samā

I am Samadhi, and there are four ways of assisting it: Desire Samadhi, relying on diligent effort with reverence, touching the one-pointedness of mind; Observation Samadhi, from the cause of thoroughly distinguishing the Dharma taught by others, touching the one-pointedness of mind. The necessary result is: wanting to manifest any phenomena such as miracles, and relying on it, it will manifest. The boundary is: meditating in the stage of the great accumulation path. Why is Samadhi called the foot of miracles? Because it is the basis for the attainment of all qualities, therefore it is called that. Second, the order of meditation on the four parts of discrimination is: Meditating on discrimination, its four parts, on the sixteen aspects of the four truths, practicing faith, diligence, mindfulness, Samadhi, and wisdom five times twice. With that Samadhi, meditating on discrimination on the path of application, for this there are the four parts: heat, peak, forbearance, and supreme Dharma. On the sixteen aspects of the four truths, such as impermanence, the five faculties of faith, diligence, mindfulness, Samadhi, and wisdom, and their transformation into the five powers, that is, practicing with two sets of five. Among them, the object of meditation of the five faculties is the four truths, held by the practice of the noble path, therefore it becomes the aspect of the four truths. The way of meditation is: with faith, in the way of believing that the truths are knowable and abandonable, etc.; with diligence, in the way of joy in order to realize the suchness of the truths; with mindfulness, in the way of not forgetting the object and aspect of realizing the suchness of the truths; with Samadhi, in the way of one-pointedness of mind; with wisdom, meditating in the way of distinguishing the aspects of the truths individually. The essence is: the five faculties of faith, diligence, mindfulness, Samadhi, and wisdom. The result is: quickly attaining the path of seeing, and accomplishing the four paths of meditation. The boundary is: meditating in the two, heat and peak. Why is it called faculty? Because it has power over the purity of the world, that is, the basis of definite goodness. After that, the object and aspect of the five powers, and the way of meditation are the same as before. The essence is: the five, faith, etc., increase in power, disbelief
