Because of not knowing the bondage of illness, one cannot directly see the wisdom that has mastery over samsara and nirvana without distinction. If the essential points of the support, channels, winds, and bodhicitta are bound, then the ten signs and the qualities of bliss, clarity, and non-thought will appear, and the wisdom of the path of appearance and emptiness without distinction will be directly seen. And the meaning of the generation stage together with its branches.

It is the Vinaya of the Pāramitā Vehicle. Within it, due to not being confused about self-benefit and other-benefit as taught in the Tantras, generating the two Bodhicitta minds, guarding the vows of discipline, and through the skillful means of the distinction between the generation stage and the completion stage, transforming all afflictions into wisdom, thereby subduing the faults of afflictions and liberating all sentient beings from the faults of samsara. Therefore, the Mantra Vehicle is taught as the Vinaya of superior inner meaning, which is to be learned. Thus, it is considered that Secret Mantra itself possesses all three baskets, namely, from the aspect of showing all dharmas separately without mixing their own and common characteristics, applying all external dependencies internally, and manifestly realizing wisdom, it is Abhidharma; from the aspect of showing the nature of the grounds, paths, aspects of enlightenment, cessation, miraculous powers, direct perception, profound emptiness, as they are, it is Sutra; and from the aspect of equally protecting the discordant aspects of body, speech, and mind, relying on one's own special precepts to show the method of subduing afflictions, it is Vinaya. Since it is in accordance with or possesses all three baskets, it is said to be the Vidyādhara Piṭaka. Thirdly, it shows the general and specific necessity of knowing these, namely, in the Vinaya-Abhidharma, it is said, "Quickly obtained." This means that if one understands the Vinaya, Sutra, and Abhidharma of the Lesser Vehicle, the three baskets, as showing the external meaning, then one can temporarily obtain the fruit of the Hearer and Solitary Buddha, that is, Arhatship. More wonderful than that, the profound meaning of the Sutra, Vinaya, and Abhidharma that arise from the Great Vehicle Pāramitā and the lower Tantras, which are difficult for inferior beings to realize, if one knows and applies them to the three trainings, one will become a Bodhisattva, and its fruit will be the unsurpassed Bodhi that is manifested after a long time. On top of that, if one understands in detail the difference of skillful means as taught in this text, and realizes the Tathāgatagarbha, the two truths, as they are, thereby realizing the basis and the result as being of one essence, then one will quickly obtain unsurpassed Buddhahood.

It is meaningful. Therefore, in order to understand the profound meaning spoken of in all Vajrayana tantras, this treatise is composed by collecting the words that express the profound meaning. (183) That is the purpose. Fourth, summarizing the nature of the fruit has three aspects: the obscured aspect of the base period, the purified aspect of the path period, and the pure aspect of the fruition period. The first is: "From all places, sinking into it." It is said that when the sensory manifestation, mental manifestation, and self-awareness manifestation are grasped by the true yoga, everything is also the nature of the innate wisdom of the yoga manifestation. And the obscuring defilement of this wisdom is that the Alaya luminosity itself does not recognize itself and is shaken, arising from afflictive thoughts, grasping what is not self as self, and what is not mine as mine. Therefore, the erroneous discriminations to be abandoned, the consciousness with different aspects of the grasper and the grasped, is connected with wisdom, arising and increasing suddenly, obscuring the essence, and therefore becoming a fundamental error. Thus, from the Alaya, the three realms of the afflictive mental formations manifest and gather, and relying on it, one cannot see the true reality that actually exists, just as one mistakes a mirage for water. With the thought of grasping what is not this as this, one sees various erroneous appearances that do not actually exist, and wisdom sinks into the mire of discrimination. Therefore, children and ordinary beings sink into the ocean of suffering of samsara, and are in samsara. The second is: "From inside and outside, seeing the truth." It is said that the wisdom of the path period recognizes the external world, the internal Vajra body, and the three wheels of other mandalas as the non-dual wisdom Mahamudra, and therefore it is actually the nature of the Buddha. The Sanskrit word for Buddha is "Buddha" (藏文:པུངྡྷ་,梵文天城体:बुद्ध,梵文罗马拟音:Buddha,汉语字面意思:觉悟者), which also includes the meaning of understanding and realization. When practicing, in the relative truth, the phenomenal appearances of grasping and being grasped, etc., are like the moon in the water, actually non-existent, but in the face of discrimination, they appear as external objects, and are seen as the self-manifestation of the mind. And the nature of the ultimate truth, the eighteen emptinesses, is truly seen as a state of non-duality between subject and object.
