Therefore, one will obtain the fruit, so the basis, path, and fruit are continuously connected. Second, if one does not initially understand the nature of cause and condition, there will be suspicion of being the same as outsiders, such as thinking there is no cause, thinking self-nature is the cause, thinking dissimilar types are the cause, etc. Therefore, the section that generally indicates cause and condition is explained first. After that, because one must rely on the conventional to enter the ultimate, based on recognizing the object of purification for the generation stage, the second explains the manner of accomplishing the body. The body itself also relies on the channels, and in order to strike the key point of the channels, one needs to know the condition of the channels, so the third is explained. The channels are also accomplished by the winds, and in order to strike the key point of the winds, one needs to know the condition of the winds, so the fourth is explained. Bindus move within the channels, and in order to strike the key point of the bindus, one needs to know the condition of the bindus, so the fifth is explained. Based on the completion of the channels, winds, and bindus, the four states arise, so the sixth is explained. All illusory appearances rely on the body, and the body is also composed of the appearances of the mind, so in order to recognize this, the seventh is explained. For the means of binding illusion, which is holding the mind, understanding the meaning of inner and outer, and for the necessity of gaining mastery over the form body for the benefit of others, based on these three necessities, the eighth is explained. The coarse means of binding illusion is not only the generation stage, but there are also methods of practice equal to the number of objects of purification, based on this, the ninth is explained. Relying on practicing the generation and completion stages, the five paths gradually arise in the continuum, based on this, the tenth is explained. Finally, these also do not go beyond the suchness of the nature of all phenomena, so in order to enter emptiness, the eleventh is explained. Finally, summarizing the meaning of all these, the reason for the treasury of knowledge holders is explained. Thus, the subject matter, purpose, and ultimate purpose all rely on the former, and without the former, the latter will not arise, this is the relationship of that arising from that, like fire and smoke. Third, explaining the actual text in detail is divided into three: praising and promising to explain; the actual content of the text; the conclusion with dedication, etc. The first part has four: the mandala of...

To the protector master, I prostrate to the body with forms, to the body of great bliss, I vow to explain. The first has two parts: the scribe's homage and the author's praise. The first is: Homage to glorious Vajradhara. (6) It is said that the sound "Śrī" means auspicious, which is non-dual or should be relied upon. In Hevajra it says: Śrī is non-dual wisdom. And it says: In the root of the word, "Śriñu" means to rely on. As explained, the distinction of qualities becomes the auspiciousness of existence and peace. Since the meaning of appearance and emptiness, skillful means and wisdom, and the body are originally non-dual, auspiciousness itself is also Vajra. Vajra is said to be indivisible. With the certainty of what is said, holding them inseparably is called Glorious Vajradhara, or because they are non-dually relied upon, it is called Glorious Vajradhara. To that, I prostrate with reverence. Thus it is. If combined with the three bases, paths, and results, the words of prostration are drawn as the basis for explaining all three. To whom? At the base, it becomes the auspiciousness of both cyclic existence and nirvana. The Vajra that does not separate appearance and emptiness is held in the manner of being born together, which is the mind-essence that is naturally luminous. At the path, it possesses the auspiciousness of the inseparability of great compassion without focus and emptiness endowed with all supreme aspects. The Vajra that does not separate skillful means and wisdom is the mind-essence that holds each in its own self-awareness. At the result, it becomes the auspiciousness worthy of being praised in all places of existence and peace. The indestructible ultimate Dharmakaya and the other apparent conventional form bodies are the Vajra of union that does not separate like the sun and its rays, which is the mind-essence. At the time, in order to bring to completion the necessity of what is said at the beginning of composing the treatise, the person Gyalwa Rangjung Dorje (Rangjung Dorje, the Third Karmapa, 1284-1339) made prostrations with reverence in the three ways. Likewise, we should also make prostrations at the beginning of engaging in teaching and learning before entering. The second is: Omniscient, homage to the Guru. It is said that all phenomena, such as the knowable and the extent of the knowable, are fully realized by one's own wisdom without relying on the words of others and the path of consciousness, and omniscient.
