Stopping actions and so on is the arising aspect, and the absence of aging and death, hence the absence of birth and so on, is the reverse aspect. From the cessation, all the phenomena of Nirvana will appear. The second (part) has three (aspects): commonly explaining how existence (samsara) is formed, the differences in the perception of the three realms, and explaining by combining the results of the three realms. The first (aspect): existence (bhava), grasping (upadana), etc., are one link. How does the cycle of confusion in the three realms arise from the twelve links of dependent origination? According to the commentary's view, (it says): Ignorance, action, consciousness, name and form, the six sense sources, contact and feeling, existence, grasping, linking to existence, birth and change lead to aging and death. Thus, supplementing the explanation, ignorance, which is the motivation for actions arising from delusion about one's own realm, and the meritorious and non-meritorious contaminated actions that arise from it, which again form existence, and the alaya-consciousness imprinted by their habits. These three are called the three propelling limbs. From this, the four aggregates of name immediately after the formation of the next existence, or name and form gathered by the form aggregate, from this the six sense sources are formed, from this the contact that completely grasps the object by the aggregation of the three, the four aggregates of name immediately after formation, or name and form gathered by the form aggregate, from this the six sense sources are formed, from this the contact that completely grasps the object by the aggregation of the three, and from this the feeling of experiencing pleasant, unpleasant, uncomfortable, etc., as appropriate. These four are called the four propelled limbs. Thus, encountering an object and not (27) separating from attachment, there is existence (samsara), desiring and seeking to obtain the object of attachment, therefore desiring to seek the cause of feeling, which is grasping, and by linking those two, existence (bhava) is the powerful karma that accomplishes the formation of the next existence. These three are called the three accomplishing limbs. Thus, what is accomplished by the propelling and accomplishing limbs is birth, which is the immediate linking of the next existence, and the aging and death of its aggregates, which are constantly changing and decaying. These two are called the accomplished limbs. In short, ignorance accumulates the karma of action, placing it on the alaya-consciousness, from which the formation from consciousness to feeling occurs, from which the general formation of birth is existence (bhava), and the particular formation is by grasping...

The existence of samsara is accomplished through combination. Secondly, from the formless to "great," it is said that such an existence is encompassed by the three realms. Therefore, if we explain the differences between its existence and perception by combining them sequentially, the four formless existences are small in that they grasp objects as signs, because they obstruct the appearance and obstruction of desire and form. The sixteen existences of the form realm are of medium size in that they grasp objects as signs, because they are free from attachment to desire and possess form produced by the power of the samadhi of the four dhyanas. The eleven existences of the desire realm possess the characteristic of grasping objects as signs and are great, because they are attached to the qualities of desire and possess all understanding. Thirdly, from all to "afflicted," it is said that all three realms, because they have not realized the true nature of their own minds, cling to desirable objects as things to be taken, and when they see undesirable objects, they generate aversion and hatred towards them, and the three actions of body, speech, and mind are produced by the discrimination of what is neither, that is, the good that the noble ones consider worthy of being taken and becomes the action of merit, the non-good that the noble ones consider worthy of being abandoned and becomes the action of non-merit, and the three types of equanimity actions that cannot be distinguished as either of the two and become immovable actions, know that these are the actions of formation that are born in the three realms. Its causes
