The Bodhicitta. The Bodhicitta is the all-creating king, The Buddhas of the three times are made by the Bodhicitta. The sentient beings of the three realms are made by the Bodhicitta. The appearances and existences, the container and contents, are made by the Bodhicitta. Cause and effect, example and meaning, reason and proof are made to be harmonious. In the time of cause, the five great elements are made, In the time of effect, the sentient beings of the three realms are made. In the time of example, the universal example is made as the sky, In the time of meaning, the universal meaning is made as unborn. In the time of sign, the all-creating is the Bodhicitta, In the time of reason, the self-arisen wisdom is shown. Cause and effect, example and meaning, reason and proof are made to be harmonious. The Bodhicitta made all, did not make one. The all-made is the nature of the Bodhicitta. There is no need to do anything to the unmade one. Without realizing the nature of the all-creating me, By definitely examining the Dharma made by me, Due to the power of craving and attachment, appearances are established. The nature of impermanence and illusion will be destroyed. It is like the nature of an indivisible blind person. Thus it is said. Showing that the nature of awareness is beyond thought and expression, In the essence of the meaning of existence and non-existence, Whatever arises as unobstructed play of all dharmas, The nature of self is a realm beyond thought and expression, It is beyond all words, terms, and names. Whatever arises from the nature of awareness, samsara or nirvana, The essence, the great primordial appearance, the self-abiding space of primordial purity, the spontaneously accomplished self-arisen wisdom, nothing is established anywhere. As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: In the very beginning of primordial purity, Confusion is only spoken of, Likewise, what is non-confusion? Therefore, confusion is primordially pure. In that very great primordial appearance, Since there is no imputation of ignorance, There is no establishment of confusion. Since there is no mental fabrication, There is no name for washing away stains. Since there are no names, letters, or words, There is no confusion of imputation. Since the name of Dharma is not proclaimed, There is no name for mental fabrication and confusion. Since mind and intellect are not established, The confusion of movement is naturally absent. Since there are no subtle or coarse stains, The confusion of arising conditions is naturally absent. Since there is no doer or deed, How can there be confusion of object-grasping? Since there are no object and sense faculty, There is no confusion of grasper and grasped. Thus it is said. Although all phenomena appear from one awareness, Showing that it does not move from one, The essence of all arising is Bodhi.

Ah! If counted as two, it is beyond words. Buddhas and sentient beings, the manifest world, the container and its contents, are clear. As they are, the nature of reality does not move from the one. From the state where the essence of one awareness cannot be expressed in any way, the inconceivable and countless appearances of samsara and nirvana arise. At the time of arising, it does not go beyond the state of non-duality of grasping and being grasped. As the All-Creating King says: "The essence from which all arises is bodhichitta. It is not one, and if counted, it cannot be expressed. The body, speech, and mind of the Buddha, and the body and speech of sentient beings, are also bodhichitta, originally free from grasping and being grasped." Thus it is. To conclude awareness into one: The fact that all related phenomena are complete in one is the great quality of bodhichitta. From the moment anything appears, conceptual constructs are cut off. In the self-radiance of emptiness, the nature of the non-dual mind, external phenomena should be known, and internal phenomena are awareness, pure and naked. In the nature of reality, which is neither one nor many, the key point of awareness is unlocked as the single, constant realm. All phenomena that appear as external objects are known as the unobstructed qualities of the self-radiance of awareness, like crystal light, and thus are free from the mind that grasps them as other. Since the object of grasping is not established, the internal phenomenon of awareness emerges nakedly like a crystal ball, so there is no mind to grasp, and primordial purity exhausts phenomena. By realizing the non-duality of object and mind in the realm of the self-appearance and play of bodhichitta, all phenomena are of one taste in the sole self-arisen wisdom of the nature of reality. As it says in the lineage of the River of Spontaneous Empowerment of Completion: "The state of emptiness of the Dharmakaya, the realm of self-arisen wisdom without conceptualization, reveals the essence of empty and clear awareness. Emptiness and selflessness are wisdom, and all phenomena are spontaneously perfect, the Great Perfection." And from the Meeting of the Three Kayas: "The realm of the precious wish-fulfilling jewel of Dharma, because everything is spontaneously self-arisen without effort, the glory of self-arisen wisdom transforming into all desires, the root of all gatherings is bodhichitta. Because there is no gathering or separation, it is non-dual bodhichitta. Because there is no self or other, it is the equality of the realm of Dharma." Thus it is. Now, from the fact that all phenomena are sealed into one self-arisen wisdom, the very appearance of awareness is sealed into self-arisen wisdom. To seal all phenomena into one taste: All appearances of objects are false appearances, the state of emptiness. How they appear is without fabrication.
