The Fourth Place: An Explanation Establishing All Dharmas as Solely Rooted in Primordial Awareness Wisdom. The Fourth Place: An Explanation Establishing All Dharmas as Solely Rooted in Primordial Awareness Wisdom. Then, concerning the teaching that all dharmas are solely self-originated wisdom, there are four aspects: unraveling the key points, sealing the crucial points, binding the pledges, and repeating the meaning. First, unraveling the key points, wherein first is the teaching that all dharmas have one root: Then, the teaching of the nature of the sole one: Awareness alone is the basis of all dharmas; Though appearing as many, it does not stray from the one. Self-originated wisdom is taught as one root. Just as a single jewel, due to fire and water, appears differently because of separate conditions, yet its root is one, like pure beryl. From one self-awareness, samsara and nirvana both arise, yet their root is one, the ultimate bodhicitta. Awareness and non-awareness are merely differences in illusion. Just as a single beryl jewel, due to the separate conditions of the sun and moon rising, appears as fire and water, similarly, awareness alone, due to not knowing its own nature, samsara appears, and due to knowing its own nature, nirvana appears, yet awareness is merely a play or a way of appearing, its essence is neither different nor does it change. As it is said in the *All-Creating King Tantra*: All dharmas are one in root as bodhicitta. Buddhas, sentient beings, all of existence, the container and its contents, all arise from the essence of bodhicitta. It is not one, and if counted, it cannot be expressed. The body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas, and the body and speech of sentient beings, are all bodhicitta, primordially free from grasping and being grasped. Being free from grasping and being grasped, by what is it established? This is the accomplishment of all, the root of dharma is established. Thus it is. The teaching that all are one sphere, self-originated wisdom: All of existence, samsara and nirvana, appear before awareness, all that appears, at the time of appearing, its own nature is empty, one. Like dreams, illusions, and the moon in water, the awareness of appearances is like insubstantial space. Primordially empty, completely empty, free from elaboration, one. All are one sphere, primordially pure, therefore there is no existence of two, converging into one bindu. The dharmakaya without corners, Emaho! All phenomena of existence are one sphere in the emptiness of clear light without existence. The nature of awareness itself, like the sky, is empty, clear, free from elaboration, one space. The emptiness of awareness and appearance, without distinction, in emptiness without interval, non-dual, in the single bindu, one taste.

Therefore, the Dharmakaya thigle is unique, and in the expanse without edges, it is called the single root. As it is said in the Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra: The root of all dharmas is the all-creating Bodhicitta. How it appears is my essence; how it arises is my magical display. Thus it is. To show the self-arisen wisdom of pure equality, the appearance as the five elements is the nature of Bodhicitta, unborn and equal, not moving from the one. Although it appears as samsara, the six realms are the form of emptiness, not moving from the nature of the ground-appearing awareness. Although happiness and suffering appear, in the nature of the heart of Bodhi, it does not move from the one self-arisen wisdom. Therefore, all dharmas should be known as the nature of the single expanse of emptiness, the unborn Bodhicitta. The appearance as the five elements also arises from the nature of awareness, appears in the nature, and is liberated in the nature. The appearance as sentient beings also arises from the nature, appears in the nature, and is liberated in the nature, being the self-form of emptiness. As it is said in the Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra: Alas! Great Bodhisattva, the mind is the essence of suchness, from suchness, the great bliss of non-duality, possessing all aspects, and completely without aspects. Free from elaboration, it is eternally present like the sky, beyond the object of focus, and cannot be counted as one. If Bodhicitta cannot be counted and cannot be represented, then the dharmas made by the mind have names. What are the things made by the mind? They are the appearing world, the environment and beings, Buddhas and sentient beings. Also, from the nature and essence of the mind, having made and manifested them, what is shown is the appearance of the five great elements and the six realms, and the two form bodies that accomplish their meaning, which are manifested from the nature of the mind and established. Thus, awareness, empty and clear like the sky, is the great emptiness possessing all aspects, the clear light possessing all supreme qualities, from the nature of the Dharmakaya that is pure from the beginning. The self-appearing display, the impure is samsara, and the pure is nirvana, whatever appears, it does not move from the nature of the ground-appearing awareness. Although it appears as impure, in reality it has never existed, it is primordially enlightened. The way it appears is also pure as the three bodies. As it is said in the Thalgyur: Furthermore, due to conditions, there is not a single sentient being who has not attained enlightenment. Because self-arisen wisdom is in accordance with the Dharma, samsara has never existed. Therefore, each one is a Buddha. Birth itself is realization, being in the womb is the Dharmadhatu, the union of body and mind is the connection of the Dhatu and awareness.
