The appearance of transformation is self-appearance. At the time when Dharma is exhausted, the proliferation of extremes is naturally liberated. Naturally arising in the mind of space. If one obtains mastery over the appearance of solid essence at once, then one will become the master of all the mandalas of Samantabhadra. Thus it is said. The oath that transcends cause and effect and effort is shown as: Samsara is only a name, transcending cause and effect and effort. There is no benefit or harm in virtue and sin, therefore it is in a state of emptiness. Liberation is only a name, there is no nirvana. The nature is in ten ways, without effort and accomplishment. Understanding the meaning of nature, in the absence of cause and effect, virtue and sin, if one relies on the scriptures of the right meaning to show and cling to existence, then one will never be liberated. Because it is obscured by the stain of universal ignorance. It should be understood that the Great Perfection of nature transcends cause and effect, virtue and sin, as the Garuda says: In the mind of the original non-action, the essential meaning of memory and discrimination is shown. Protect one's own truth with words of wisdom. Those who are proficient in words and emphasize cause and effect, where else can they go but hell? Those who fabricate body and speech and cling to them with their minds, obscure the Dharma nature Truth, is there any antidote greater than this? Therefore, if there is no fabrication, when will samsara and nirvana, action and non-action be separated? The Great Perfection is it, what else exists besides it? Thus it is said. The ten natures are: view, oath, empowerment, mandala, ground, path, activity, wisdom, fruit, and Dharma nature. Understanding these ten as non-existent is the view of the Great Perfection: The Samantabhadra says: Bodhicitta is like space, like the nature of space, there is no view to cultivate, no oath to protect. There is no activity to work on, no wisdom to obscure. There is no practice on the ground, and there is no path to travel. There is no subtle Dharma, no dualistic connection. There is no definite scripture in the mind, no conclusion. Transcending addition and subtraction, there is no need to recite the oral instructions. This is the view of the Great Perfection Bodhicitta. Thus it is said. O Great Bodhisattva! The teaching that there is no cultivation of view is: Because the root of Dharma does not arise from others. Because one does not see oneself. I have never shown a realm without self. Therefore, it is said that there is no cultivation of view. The teaching that there is no protection of vows is: Because protection cannot overcome, it cannot overcome one's own mind. Self-born wisdom

Because it is wisdom, there is no need to guard. The teaching that activity does not require effort is because Dzogchen transcends cause and effect from the very beginning. Activity is accomplished from cause and desires result. Because Dzogchen does not desire result, and because activity is inherently without effort, it is taught that activity does not require effort. The teaching that there is no need to travel on the path is because for the Buddhas of the three times and sentient beings of the three realms, traveling is traveling on the path of Bodhicitta. There is no duality of Buddha and sentient beings in the mind, therefore, mind has no path to travel upon mind. The teaching that there is no need to purify on the ground is because on this ground of Dharmadhatu Bodhicitta, desiring liberation through purification is cause and effect. Regarding this ground of Dharmadhatu Bodhicitta, I have not taught the doctrine of purification, transformation, accomplishment. The teaching that there is no non-conceptualization in the realm of wisdom is because that realm is inherently self-arisen wisdom. For wisdom, there is no realm of wisdom. Thus. The pledge of the meaning of non-action is taught as: To exert effort and strive again and again in tiring dharmas, is like a child's mud house, a dharma of destruction. Therefore, all efforts and endeavors of cause and effect, virtue and vice, are inherently bound in the pledge of non-existence. Just as children build sandcastles and destroy them in their games, arising and gradually dissolving into emptiness, etc., all phenomena established in conventional truth are the same as that, with the grasping of non-existence in ultimate truth, all dharmas of the three doors of effort and practice are the same as that. All virtues, vices, and cause and effect transcend movement and effort. The yogi binds them in the great non-action. As the great Garuda says: There is nothing to see in the mind, no one sees the reason. Therefore, what is the use of virtue, free from sin, for this? It is said. The All-Creating King says: Because there is nothing to do in the Dharma, enter through the door of non-effort. It is said. Hey! Great Bodhisattva, wanting greatness and practicing diligently, greatness is not achieved by practice and diligence. Greatness is self-arisen and inherently great. If you meditate, you are altering the Buddha's intention. Whatever alters the Buddha's intention, one's own nature will not be met for eons. Hey! Great Bodhisattva, do not meditate on the Samadhi of the mind, do not conceptualize the realm of wisdom, there is no need to recite mantras and essences with the mouth, there is no need to make mudras with the hands.
