The meaning of self-nature transcends Dharma, May the uncreated be bound in the covenant of space. Deceived by actions, behold the illusory appearances of samsara, Defiled by effort, contemplate the wheel of suffering. Virtue and vice, Through Dharma, happiness and suffering continue without ceasing. Accumulating karma, wandering in the highs and lows of samsara, There is no opportunity to escape from the ocean of existence. When the continuum of virtue and non-virtue ceases, In the nature of Dharma, if there is no gathering or separation, That is the great secret of definite yogis, Reaching the primordial ground without effort. Attaining the palace of the primordial Dharmakaya King. Therefore, from the very moment phenomena appear, The habits of fabricated names and clinging to meaning, Good and bad, acceptance and rejection, cause and effect, actions and efforts, Who knows them as Dharma-less, uncreated, like space? Then all covenants are bound in the Dharma of non-existence. Repeating in non-existence, the essence of meaning is: For all phenomena of existence, samsara, and nirvana, Because of no self-nature, it transcends the Dharma of existence. The manner of appearance is unceasing, transcending the Dharma of non-existence. Because of neither existence nor non-existence, it transcends the Dharma of both. Because there is no "two," it transcends the Dharma of non-duality. Because it is neither "is" nor "is not," for the essence of meaning, It cannot be indicated as "this," transcending all thought and expression. Thus, for the Dharma-nature that is primordially pure, Those who act with acceptance and rejection are children in meaning. Because they cling to their own views, they are constantly bound, Because they cling to conceptual signs, they increase their afflictions. Clinging to "self" in non-existence, Ah, how mistaken! Clinging to direction in the directionless, how exhausting! Constantly wandering in samsara, how pitiful! The self-arisen awareness, the sun of ultimate truth, Is obscured by the clouds of both virtue and vice, black and white, Scorched by the lightning of clinging to acceptance, rejection, and effort, The illusory appearances of happiness and suffering fall like continuous rain, The seeds of samsara, the crops of the six realms grow. Alas! The wretched beings are truly pitiful! For the definite essence of ultimate meaning, Like golden shackles and rope binding are the same, Dharma and non-dharma, the binding of the mind is the same, Like black and white clouds obscuring are the same, Virtue and vice, both are the same as obscurations of awareness. Therefore, the yogi who realizes this, Cherishes transcending all cause and effect of virtue and vice. When self-arisen wisdom arises from within, The darkness of the night of cause and effect dissipates, And there are no clouds of virtue and vice whatsoever.

In the sky of the Dharmadhatu, the sun of ultimate meaning rises. This is the ultimate pith instruction of meaning, Established by the ten aspects of non-existence. It surpasses all cause-and-effect vehicles. It transcends the realm of invisible samadhi, This self-aware rigpa is free from elaboration. This is the pith instruction of the exhaustion of all dharmas, All dharmas are exhausted here, and this too is exhausted into dharma. Since exhaustion and non-exhaustion have been recited, It is decisively determined to be beyond existence and non-existence, expression. This is without reliance, vast and expansive. The yogi rejoices in the exhaustion of dharma and the transcendence of mind! This is the yoga of past, future, and present, And the nature of reality of the sphere of intention is without interruption. It is the same field of activity as all vidyadharas and buddhas, The unchangeable, indivisible, unconditioned space. The self-arisen wisdom, the space beyond effort and accomplishment. All dharmas are mere names, the space beyond thought and expression. In the very nature of actionless Samantabhadra, Whatever appears is the sphere of Samantabhadra. In the sphere of Samantabhadra, there is no appearance, emptiness, good, or bad. To grasp non-existence as existence is called delusion. From the time of imputation, there is no delusion or non-delusion. All dharmas are recited in the great namelessness, It is the nature of the spontaneously perfect great perfection. Thus, in all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, Since it is determined that there is no delusion or non-delusion, There is no need to abandon samsara and accomplish nirvana. Since it is determined that there is no birth or non-birth, It transcends the realm of grasping existence and non-existence, arising and ceasing. Since it is determined that there is no purity or impurity, Without abandoning or taking good or bad, it is spread out evenly, In the space of Samantabhadra, all dharmas are recited. From the treasury of the precious nature, it is determined that all dharmas cannot be expressed anywhere, this is the first place. The second place, determining that all dharmas are uninterrupted, vast openness. Thus, having well understood the nature of non-existence, Establishing the nature of openness is, The pinnacle of the vehicle, the agama of Atiyoga. Like the sky, without beginning or end, The great: the great, vast mind of Samantabhadra. Uninterrupted equality is the very nature of greatness. Phenomena of samsara and nirvana, and non-appearing bodhicitta, As they are, without moving from freedom from elaboration, In that, there is no beginning or end, beyond thought. The nature of openness abides in uninterrupted vastness. All phenomena of objects appear from the very time of appearance, Directional parts, things are not
