The unlabored mandala cannot be generated. The two, cause and effect, are not established, like the sky. Thus it is said. Bodhicitta is primordially without error. It is primordially so, and primordially without error. Being without error, true and false cannot be affixed. It transcends cause, condition, result, effort, and accomplishment. If, not understanding that what is done is finished and effort has passed, one thinks that accomplishment can be achieved through action, effort, doing, and meditation, then there is no greater obstacle to bodhi than that. Thus it is said. Then, if one purifies the defilements of the realm (Sanskrit: dhātu) through the path of acceptance and rejection, and does not desire to become a Buddha, what should one do? What difference is there from an ordinary person? If one thinks like this, then the self-arisen wisdom, the Great Perfection itself, inherently possesses the great qualities of the complete Buddha. Because the three kayas are naturally complete, there is no need to seek them from outside. Therefore, it is taught that accomplishment is achieved by abiding in this unaltered, natural state without moving. As it says in that very text: O great bodhisattva, listen! The dharmakaya is bodhicitta. From bodhicitta arises the dharmakaya. No one can alter it even by a particle. Therefore, the Buddha is not outside the mind. The sambhogakaya is bodhicitta. From bodhicitta arises the sambhogakaya. For the forms that arise from the mind, there is no other kaya than the sambhogakaya. The nirmanakaya is bodhicitta. From the manifestation of bodhicitta, beings are benefited. There is no other than that. All the Buddhas of the past, present, and future have nothing other than bodhicitta. The Buddhas of the past who have passed away have previously realized their unaltered mind. The Buddhas who are now abiding, because they have realized this unaltered mind, are now also benefiting beings. The Buddhas who will appear in the future, this very mind, bodhicitta, was not previously prophesied to need alteration. Now abiding in samadhi, they do not alter their mind, entering the path of non-alteration and appearing. Thus it is said. In the Guhyagarbha Tantra, it says: From no time and no place in the ten directions can the complete Buddha be found. Because the nature of mind itself is the complete Buddha, do not seek the Buddha elsewhere. Even if you seek, the Buddhas cannot be found. Thus it is said. Therefore, the very nature of mind, the unwavering dharmakaya bodhicitta, is the nature of the Great Perfection, which transcends action. As the Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra says: Mind is the thing as it is. All phenomena are its nature

It is accomplished in that very place. Do not modify what is as it is. Do not strive for anything other than its own nature. If you seek it, even the Victorious Ones will not find it in the expanse. Because it has already been done, there is no need to do it now. Because it has already been accomplished, do not accomplish it now. In non-thought, do not think of anything, rest in equanimity. Thus it is said. Secondly, explaining the great secret of distinction has three aspects: the essence, the divisions, and the terms to be determined. The first is Ati Yoga Great Perfection, the wisdom of self-origination free from elaboration, without limitation or partiality, which is the culmination because it completely perfects the meaning of all vehicles. As it says in the Kunje Gyalpo Tantra: "One is complete, two are complete, complete in mind. One is complete, complete in what is made by mind. Two are complete, complete in perfect abundance. All is complete, complete in the mind of enlightenment." Here, what is made by mind refers to the impure dharmas of samsara, the appearances of existence, the environment and beings, all dharmas included in the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and all that is considered as the ground, path, and result of views, meditations, conduct, and vehicles. These are all the habitual tendencies and delusions of the mind, made temporarily by the mind's fabrication. Although they appear as delusion and grasping at delusion, seeming to be true, in reality their essence is not established, and therefore they are complete because they do not move from the state of self-originated wisdom. Complete in perfect abundance refers to the essence of self-originated wisdom, the clear light, the emptiness of the Dharmakaya, the self-nature luminosity of the Sambhogakaya, and the compassion and awareness of the Nirmanakaya. The three bodies are inherently complete, and therefore complete without needing effort or accomplishment from elsewhere. Complete in the mind of enlightenment means that all dharmas that appear and exist, whether they appear pure or impure, are gathered into the state of the root self-originated wisdom. They arise from the state and abide in the state, just as the different appearances in a person's sleep and dreams are gathered into the state of awareness. They arise from the state and abide in the state, and therefore the nature of mind is complete as the mind of enlightenment. Moreover, mind is the collection of eight consciousnesses that arise from the all-ground consciousness of conceptual thought, and therefore it is the impurity to be purified. But the mind of enlightenment, the clear light of mind itself, the sacred mind, the wisdom of non-thought, the expanse of the Dharmakaya, the ultimate truth of suchness, and the Great Perfection are all self-originated wisdom.
