Therefore, by sending forth emanations, when he engages in activities such as teaching the Dharma in accordance with his own appearances, when he knows that for the appearances of those to be tamed, dreams also appear without interruption, and that they actually appear on that very thing, because he himself has no dreams, because he has not fallen asleep. Likewise, he knows that sentient beings have illusory appearances and acts accordingly, but the Buddha himself has no illusory appearances whatsoever. Here, the distinction is made in reliance on characteristics, but it is considered to transcend the distinction of self-nature because it is emptiness. Moreover, the emptiness that is the realm of appearances is stated in the Commentary on the Awakening Mind: Conventional is emptiness, emptiness is merely conventional, like the conditioned and impermanent, because if it does not exist, it will not arise. Thus it is said. If the distinction is established as different, that is inverted, as it is said in the Sutra Unraveling the Intent: The characteristic of the aggregates and the nature of ultimate reality is the characteristic of being free from one and different, whoever thinks of one and different, they have entered into an irrational view. Thus it is said. Fourth, the determination of number is that liberation from and non-liberation from elaboration are determined to be directly contradictory, so by negating the three categories of the affirming and negating sides, the number is determined to be two. In one aspect, when objects are established in dependence on the subject, the subject does not go beyond two: the deluded mind that has not reached the limit, and the non-deluded mind that has reached the limit. Therefore, the phenomena of samsara are the objects of delusion, and the nature of reality is the object of non-delusion. Therefore, it is established as two by the power of the mind and enters into it. As it is said: All things, through true and false views, obtain things and grasp self-nature. Whatever is the object of true view is the ultimate truth, and the false view is called the conventional truth. Thus it is said. Fifth, etymologically, for conventional truth, the Sanskrit is samvṛti satya, sam plus the suffix myak, meaning true, pra plus the suffix avara, meaning obscuration. Therefore, in the two truths, through what or for what, true obscuration is called conventional. satya means truth, that is, it is established as merely appearing as true when not analyzed. For ultimate truth, the Sanskrit is parama artha satya, parama meaning supreme, artha meaning meaning, that is, the meaning that the supreme ones enter into. satya means truth, that is, it abides in a harmless state after analysis.

Now, the Dharmadhatu ultimate reality Dharmata, should be free from elaboration. Because it is not the object of conceptual consciousness. Moreover, it is realized through wisdom in a non-conceptual manner. Dharmata conventional truths, should be with elaboration. Because it is the object of conceptual consciousness. Pervasiveness exists, because conceptual consciousness and its objects are all conventional. In this way, the characteristic of ultimate reality is established by the intellect of characteristic types, while the characteristic of conventional reality is established by the nominal consciousness that grasps characteristics and entities. Secondly, the way to practice after understanding is: First, generate the mind of enlightenment (Bodhicitta), and in the state of being determined by the view that all phenomena are not established in any way, meditate without scattering or gathering the mind. As it is said in the "Entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life": "When neither real nor unreal, stands before the mind, then, there is no other aspect, it is completely pacified without object." Also, as the great teacher Nagarjuna said: "If the mind is beyond existence and non-existence, not abiding and not transcending, then, those profound non-conceptual, should contemplate the meaning of dependent origination." Remaining in this state for as long as possible, and then dedicating the merit, is the way to practice the ultimate truth. The way to practice the conventional truth is, after rising from meditative equipoise, to accumulate merit by knowing all phenomena as the eight examples of illusion. Thus, at the end of accumulating the two accumulations of meditative equipoise and subsequent attainment, method and wisdom, wisdom and merit, one obtains the two sacred bodies of Dharmakaya and Rupakaya. As it is said in the "Precious Garland": "The Form Body of the Buddhas arises from this, born from the accumulation of merit, the Dharma Body, in brief, arises from the accumulation of wisdom. Therefore, these two accumulations, are the cause of attaining Buddhahood, therefore, in short, always rely on merit and wisdom." Thus, the basis is the Middle Way of the two truths, the path is the Middle Way of the two accumulations, and the result is the Middle Way of the union of the two bodies. Thirdly, the way to cut off elaboration by refutation. As mentioned earlier, measure all phenomena as without inherent existence with five reasons. However, it is not like the Svatantrika, who negate the conventional truth and then establish falsehood, or negate the elaboration of the ultimate truth and then establish non-elaboration.
