"The earth does not exist. Even if a long time passes, one cannot speak ill of it." The Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning states: "If one accepts things as real, then attachment and hatred arise, leading to endless wrong views, from which disputes arise. This is the root of all wrong views. Without it, afflictions do not arise. Therefore, if one fully understands it, one can completely liberate oneself from views and afflictions." Nagarjuna in The Precious Garland of the Middle Way says: "If one accepts things as real, then fears such as annihilation arise. For those who do not accept things as real, how can fears such as annihilation arise? If there is a thing, then the world is either finite or infinite, etc. If there is a thing, then it must be accepted. How can one accept something that is unborn? The thing that is accepted does not exist even as a particle, because it is originally unborn. It is like the son of a barren woman. For example, if one asks a barren woman, 'Who is your son?' Because she has no son, she cannot answer." Then, how should the distinctions such as the two truths be established? It is only that worldly people arbitrarily establish them, not like sectarianists who cling to them as real. As it is said in the Entering the Middle Way: "As you do not allow truly existent things that arise from others, how can we tolerate conventional truth?" The way of establishing is as it is said in the King of Samadhi Sutra: "In the dharma without letters, there is no one who listens, nor is there anyone who speaks. Attributing to what is unchanging, one also says that there are those who listen and those who speak." Thus, all the phenomena of samsara and nirvana, with the nature of illusion, because there is no real thing, the appearance of arising and ceasing, etc., is merely an appearance, and the appearance in the world is not obstructed. The Root Wisdom says: "Like a dream, like an illusion, like a city of gandharvas, so it is said to be born, so it abides, so it perishes." Therefore, if one does not understand to distinguish and measure through the two truths in this way, one cannot achieve enlightenment. The Refutation of Disputes says: "Without relying on conventional truth, one cannot attain the ultimate truth. Without attaining the ultimate truth, one cannot attain nirvana."

change. Thus it is said in Madhyamaka-hrdaya: Without the ladder of correct conventionalities, it is not appropriate for the wise to ascend to the top of the great mansion of Suchness. Thus it is said. In the Root Wisdom it says: Those who do not distinguish the difference between these two truths do not understand the profound truth of the Buddha's teachings. Like this. If you understand well, the merits are immeasurable. In the Two Truths, it says: Those who know the distinction between the two truths will not be confused by the words of the Thuba, and all of them will accumulate resources and go to the perfect other shore. Like this. This principle is the ultimate peak of the view of all Hetuvidya vehicles.
