It is said that it is to accomplish the meaning of the five tastes. The four types of taming are: taming with the body's great merit, the twelve deeds; taming with the collection of speech-dharma, the various vehicles; taming with the mind's direct knowledge, knowing the faculties of beings; and taming with inconceivable qualities and activities, displaying various miracles and emitting light, etc. The manner of the twelve deeds is: As stated in the Uttaratantra: "Without moving from the Dharmakaya, with various emanations as its nature, manifesting birth, descending from the Tushita heaven, entering the womb and being born, mastering the crafts, enjoying the retinue of consorts, renunciation and asceticism, going to the Bodhi tree, subduing the Maras, perfecting the wheel of Bodhi Dharma, manifesting Nirvana. In impure realms, it shows existence as long as samsara exists." Thus, the manner of turning the wheel of Dharma from enlightenment is, according to the view of the Shravakas, that for seven weeks, the Dharma was not spoken. At the request of Brahma and Indra, he then went to Varanasi and taught the Dharma of the Four Noble Truths. From the time the five good monks and eighty thousand gods saw the truth, until the age of eighty, he turned the wheel of Dharma three times in succession. In each different place, due to the different faculties of the beings to be tamed, different Dharmas were taught alternately. As stated in the Vinaya Sutra: "Right on the bank of the river Barat, he spoke the great rain of the ten virtuous dharmas to the Nagas." From there, "The son of the dwelling place and five hundred attendants together obtained the Dharma of unsurpassed Bodhi, free from eye dust and free from defilement." It is said that he manifested Nirvana at the age of eighty. As stated in the Great Abhidharma-vibhāṣā-śāstra: "The place of the Dharma wheel and the vast place, the white earth place and the heavenly place, killing children and कौशाम्बी (Kauśāmbī, Kauśāmbī), the pasture and the stupa mountain, the garden of light and the place with enemies, and the city of Kapilavastu, these are the places where the Teacher lived for one year each. He lived for two years in the burning cave, four years in the medicine forest, five years in the city of Rajagriha, asceticism.

For six years. At twenty-three, he was in Shravasti, and at twenty-nine, he resided in the palace. Thus, at the age of eighty, the supreme Buddha, the Blessed One, passed into Nirvana. Some Shravakas believe that his life could have been extended by two months. As stated in the 'Hundred Thousand Commentary': 'By conquering the Mara of death, he extended his life by two months.' The commonly known Mahayana view is that in the perfect place of Varanasi, the perfect teacher, Shakyamuni Buddha, for the perfect assembly of the Five Excellent Bhikshus and eighty thousand gods, taught the perfect Dharma, the first turning of the wheel of Dharma, the aspects of the Four Noble Truths. The time was perfect, from the age of thirty-six to forty-two. There, the Vinaya Pitaka mainly teaches the discipline of morality, starting with the Vinaya's rules and naturally established details, and the Vinaya Sutra, the order of practicing Samadhi and Brahmacharya, and the Vinaya Abhidhamma, which extensively explains the divisions of these, and so on. Then, in the perfect place of Vulture Peak Mountain, the perfect teacher, Shakyamuni Buddha, for the perfect assembly of the four common assemblies, including Shariputra and Maudgalyayana, about five thousand Arhats, and Mother of all beings and five hundred Bhikshunis, and Anathapindika, and Sagama and other Upasakas and Upasikas, and gods, nagas, asuras, gandharvas, and many others, and the uncommon assembly of Bodhisattvas who have attained great earth, such as Bhadrapala, Ratnakara, and Indrajala, taught the perfect Dharma, the intermediate turning of the wheel of Dharma, the aspects of the Dharma of no characteristics. The time was perfect, from the age of forty-three to seventy-two. There, the Sutra Pitaka mainly teaches the discipline of the mind, including the Vinaya of the Sutra, the detailed explanation of the collection of Bodhisattva vows, and the Sutra of the Sutra, deep and vast Samadhi, and the Abhidhamma of the Sutra, the grounds, paths, dharanis, and samadhi.

These are the various classifications of attachment. Then, in perfect places such as Jambudvipa, and in uncertain places such as the abodes of gods and nagas, the perfect teacher, Shakyamuni Buddha, to a perfect retinue of countless beings such as monks and nuns, gods and nagas, and bodhisattvas, spoke the perfect Dharma, the final teaching, the category of definitive meaning. The perfect time was from the age of seventy-three to eighty-two. Among these, the Abhidharma Pitaka mainly teaches the training of higher wisdom, and the Abhidharma Vinaya teaches the methods of subduing afflictions with easy and simple means, and the Abhidharma Sutra teaches the way to enter Suchness like an ocean, and the Abhidharma Abhidharma teaches the aggregates, elements, sense bases, faculties, consciousness, and the Tathagatagarbha, the various classifications of naturally pure nature and its parts. As it is said in the "Seven Hundred Sutra": The Teacher spoke the aggregates of Dharma, For the benefit of sentient beings, In places and times, etc., in order, He proclaimed with the voice of Brahma. So it is said. According to the uncommon view, it seems that the three wheels of Dharma were taught in sequence to those who gradually enter according to the minds of the disciples, while to those who enter simultaneously, it seems that the teachings were shown at the same time when the activity was completed. As it is said in the "King of Arrayed Merit Sutra": I have not spoken anything, Yet it appears extensively to sentient beings, Whenever they desire gradual manifestation, It is the same for all of them, For those who enter at the same time, The complete category of Dharma appears, That is the greatness of speech, Which fulfills wishes like a wish-fulfilling gem. So it is said. Here, some teachers believe that the three wheels of Dharma are only turned simultaneously, while others believe that they are taught in sequence. Both of these views are merely confused about the meaning distinguished by the difference of common and uncommon faculties. The Teacher is like a wish-fulfilling jewel, which brings about benefits according to the wishes of beings. Through the blessings of the Buddha, the voice appears in sixty kinds of sounds in the languages of different beings, thus accomplishing benefits, but in reality, the sounds and words themselves
