Like seeing a magic trick, when the self-nature of groundless emptiness is seen, all kinds of phenomena that appear are truly revealed in the mirror of view, meditation, and action, because it is the self-power of the unobstructed manifestation of Dharmata. Among them, in general, all phenomena appear as various colors like silk brocade. When focusing on one of them, everything that appears, arises, and is heard is seen as the play of self-liberated emptiness. At this time, without any modification or adjustment to the appearance, it is left as it is. Appearance is liberated from where it appears, and illusion is liberated in the groundlessness, appearing merely as a magic trick, thereby liberating from the cycle of clinging to external objects. Dividing phenomena into segments, such as mountains, houses, good people, men, women, etc., first dividing the appearing objects into segments, and then enlarging them where they appear. In this way, great wisdom does not intervene in judgment, appearance is not changed by the mind, and the mind is not stolen by appearance, but abides in its own state. The six consciousnesses are not blocked, but remain in their original state, so that the manifestation of Dharmata naturally unfolds. Like this, when observing external phenomena and recognizing them as the self-nature of emptiness without a place, the object of grasping is purified like the sky without a place. This is called realizing the selflessness of the object of grasping. Like this, when observing the awareness that observes outward, Flowing dissipates, awakening without distinction, when realizing the nakedly awake, uninterrupted self-illumination, internally realizing the great state of Dharmata without birth, death, or dwelling. The grasper dissolves naturally and clearly in the state of being without reliance, like the sky. Without reliance, nakedly, emptily, rootlessly, in the state of great equality of Dharmata, joyfully blossoming with a smile. The inner grasper needs to be liberated from the bondage of the mind. Like this, when realizing that external objects and mind are groundless and rootless, the secret self-awareness goes to the naked state free from the elaboration of grasper and grasped. When the self-illuminating, primordially pure Great Perfection wisdom is recognized by the words of the Guru, and when practicing with the four lamps in the state of luminosity where Dharmadhatu and wisdom are inseparable, the self-nature five lights of external Dharmadhatu appear like images in a mirror. Although the form appears outward, the essence abides within. Knowing that appearance and emptiness are like the image of the moon in water, without clinging to appearance with liking or disliking. When looking outward at the luminosity of external appearance, the luminosity of inner wisdom also illuminates inward.

The vast view of clarity and freedom, free from the antidote of discursive thoughts, is vast. Meditation that abides in its own state is clear. There is no acceptance or rejection in the conduct of clear light. Having attained the fruit of primordial purity and self-illumination, one abandons without abandoning illusion, one obstructs without obstructing delusion, and one purifies without cultivating dualistic grasping. Without abandoning faults, one is pure from the beginning, and without seeking qualities, one is spontaneously accomplished. It is the realization of complete liberation from the three realms. It transcends the object of view, transcends the mind of meditation, transcends the calculation of conduct, and transcends the dharma of the fruit. In the opportunity to completely purify samsara, the realm of the manifestation of dharmata expands. In the excellent land of the source of happiness, having found the palace of spontaneously arising desires, one meets the primordial protector, the unchanging king of light, and the queen of five lights, spontaneously accomplished. The youthful pure appearance meets his own parents in an inconceivable way, and it is called the time of attaining the eternal reign of inseparable joy and bliss. The detailed scriptural authority for these has been shown before, and it should be ascertained because the occasion is clear. As it says in the "Union of Sun and Moon Tantra": Ema! Listen, O Sage! These are all in a condensed way, to obtain the bindu that abides in oneness. And what are those? The established dharmas cause self-growth, the realizations indicate the timing, the ways of exhaustion indicate the realization, and the firm confidence is the sign of irreversibility. Thus, the meanings are summarized. These are its fruits. Whoever sees the lamp of space, manifests and practices in the dharmadhatu. Whoever sees the lamp of bindu, obtains the place of hope for those who strive. Whoever sees the lamp of wisdom, understands the characteristics of the general and the self-born. Whoever sees the lamp of water, obtains mastery over the senses. Whoever is accustomed to the lineage of the life force, all awarenesses reach balance. Its fruit is the three kayas, these are the self-knowing wisdom. In the bardo where self-nature abides, those who are accustomed to these, all phenomena become self-liberated, there is no doubt about this transformation. These dharmas that I have taught, all sutras and tantras are gathered here. Thus it is said extensively. The second meaning is that for the unclear aspects of the bardo of death, the instruction of clarifying them with a clear posture, like a beautiful woman looking in a mirror, has eight aspects, explained with many metaphors.
