Experiencing. Recalling the non-dharmic deeds one has done, experiencing the suffering of fearing falling into the abyss of the lower realms in the future. Recalling the body nurtured with attachment and cherishing, experiencing the suffering of fearing the collapse of the fortress of the aggregates as a support, and actually being in the suffering of separation of body and mind, fearing death. The appearance of the Dharmata Bardo is: because the support of clinging to the aggregates as self is abandoned, the Dharmata of body and wisdom manifests. Because the connection of karma and imprints is severed, one enjoys the Dharmata of self-nature meditation. Because the objects grasped by the senses are empty, one enjoys the Dharmata of self-appearance clear light. The appearance of the Sridpa Bardo is: the existence of the outer body, with a mind-made body, complete with all senses, travels unimpeded. The existence of the inner mind, contemplates and engages the mind in many thoughts. The existence of the union of body and mind, except for the two supports, goes unimpeded to everything and feels cold. The two supports are: the Vajra Seat accomplished by blessings and the mother's womb. Regarding this, some teachers identify the Vajra Seat as the one in India, but here, it is considered to be the pure, unchanging inner space, the supreme place where all Buddhas attain enlightenment, the place where one enters the gate of pure Nirvana. The mother's womb is considered to be the impure gate of Samsara, any of the six realms of existence. Therefore, it should be understood that this is not the literal meaning. In general, the points of the Sutras have two types: direct meaning and hidden meaning. There are two types: interpretation and metaphor, bound by four methods. The points of the Tantras, on top of the Sutras, also have two types: literal meaning and non-literal meaning, bound by six methods. These are also from the *Thal Gyur*: The appearances of the Bardo are: The self-nature abides in the aggregates, The realms and afflictions appear as objects. The confusion and dizziness of dying, The consciousness cannot abide in one place. The Dharmata Bardo, the body and also, The wisdom light and colors. The increase of bindus and arising appearances, Whatever appears is the Dharmata Mandala. The appearances of existence are fleeting, Like dreamlike appearances. False appearances are the realm of mind, The white light and the six realms of light. The objects of each individual's focus appear. So it is said. Fifth, the boundary has four, the self-nature of

The boundary of the bardo of becoming, from emerging from the mother's womb until finally struck by the disease of death. From then until the inner breath ceases completely, is the bardo of dying. After the inner breath ceases and the clear light dawns, until the appearance of spontaneous presence, is the bardo of dharmata. After that, spontaneous presence vanishes and appears like a dream, until entering the mother's womb, is the boundary of the bardo of existence. Among these, the instructions for symbolizing the ultimate recognition at the time of death are called the instructions for planting a nest egg on a traveler. The dying person is a traveler on the road, and the suffering of death is very great. If the various appearances on that road are not recognized as self-appearances, there will be a nest egg that rises as an enemy. If they are recognized, there will be a nest egg that appears as a friend. Therefore, one should plant on the nest egg of dying. The instruction for planting a nest egg, this analogy and meaning are appropriate. These are the general classifications of the bardo, and there is a need to make distinctions easily. The second meaning is to explain the individual natures in detail, and there are four: the bardo of nature is the instruction for deciding on what is to be known, like a bird entering its nest. The bardo of dying is the instruction for clarifying what is unclear, like a beautiful woman looking in a mirror. The bardo of dharmata is the instruction for trusting in self-appearance, like meeting a familiar person from the past or a child entering its mother's lap. The bardo of existence is the instruction for continuing the momentum of karma, like placing a fox in a broken dam. The first is: before a bird makes a nest, one should observe whether there are harmful enemies obstructing it. After building the nest without harm, later whenever one enters the nest, there is no need to cut feathers, and one enters without doubt or obstruction. Likewise, the yogi should first observe what method is deepest and what key points are most important for wanting to be liberated from samsara. Then, for the dharma that one believes in, one should avoid the three situations of not having a final decision, entering with doubt, and not arriving at the beginning. First, train the mind through listening. In the middle, make a decision through contemplation. Finally, practice repeatedly through meditation, making the mind comfortable. This is like building a nest, and like entering a nest, truly realizing the meaning and entering without fear or anxiety at the time of death. These meanings have been explained in detail before. Here, I will briefly explain the practice, observing the outer appearances.
