In the six spaces, In the mind-essence of accomplished abiding, The great foundation is self-purified in its own place. In the mind-essence of the great initial abiding, Appearance is directly self-purified in its own place. In the mind-essence appearing as being, False words are self-purified in their own place. Third, the yoga of continuously practicing the view has four: Cutting off the stream of the city of view, its instruction is the method of abiding on the mountain king, its understanding is the complete liberation of the three realms, its result is the purification of the place of afflictions. The first has two: the general distinction of the view, and ascertaining its own meaning. The first has three: nature, division, and boundary. The nature of the view is, being connected with the wisdom that realizes that the appearing world, vessel and essence, are primordially liberated and abiding. In the refutation, the nature of the view is in the vessel and essence, without being unpervaded, any

Liberation. In the Dharma of liberation, there is no Vipāka (karmic result). Whatever appears is the nature of oneself. There is no artificial Dharma elsewhere. No matter how one practices, non-conceptualization arises. There is no abandonment or acceptance, it is self-appearance. Thus it is said. If divided, there are three types of views: the view of words and meaning, the view of categories, and the view of nature. The first is the view of words, using one's own mental discernment. It is considered to be inherently free from action, to be effortlessly and primordially liberated, to be considered different depending on the progressive guidance of the mind, to be considered beyond good and evil, to be considered a great unmade and unborn, to be considered a great uncorrected and self-purified, and to be considered a great self-arising and self-liberating, there are seven in total. The view of meaning is to view awareness on its own ground. It is said in that very text: There are two kinds of views, the view of words and the view of meaning. The view of words has seven stages. By making the desires of each one into mind, it is said to be free from action and without effort, to enter sequentially, to distinguish the differences between oneself and others, to cut off life, to be free from good and evil, to be without making or arising, to be uncorrected, with appearances self-purified, and with afflictions self-settled and liberated. Meaning is the direct perception of Dharmatā (the nature of reality), not through wisdom, but to view within the domain of the senses. Thus it is said. The view of words is the collection of the general view of Dzogchen Semde (Great Perfection Mind Series). The second, the view of categories, is the view of each of the nine stages. In Thalgyur (the Transcendent Treatise) it says: The categories of words and names are the four views of outer, inner, secret, and unsurpassed. The outer is the view of phenomena, the desire of the mind in eight stages, which is considered to be the grasping of mental discernment. The inner is looking at the nature of Dharma, seeing essence and nature as illusion. The secret is looking at self-awareness, seeing connection like a continuous thread. The only one is the wisdom of space. Thus it is said. The third, the view of nature, has the view of abiding, Samsara and Nirvana are primordially in a state of peace, the view of seeing purity, beyond cause and effect and effort, the view of nature, appearances and existence appear as primordially liberated, the view of uncorrectedness, the great expanse of space beyond extremes. In that very text it says: Furthermore, the wheel of Dharmatā is explained. With the view of abiding, all Dharmas are realized. With the purity of nature, Samsara and Nirvana are distinguished. With no action, arising is destroyed. In the true path, emptiness pervades. Perfect arising.
