It is considered that there are twelve vowels. Thus. In this way, by practicing illusory body day and night, there is no true attachment to the appearance of illusion, and the body also appears like a shadow because of its transparency, seeing it as unreal. The body then has no shadow. Because one has mastered the illusory body of the bardo, one becomes a being with a final existence, like the venerable Lama Rinpoche Gyalwa Zhangton and the wise Nyibum. These also come from the Profound Secret Instructions: Practice in illusory body and dreams. If you master this, the body itself will become like a shadow. Therefore, one will grasp the body of the intermediate state as one's own. Thus. Fourth, one practices luminosity by relying on the instructions of the union of the four times. By the outer union of the four times, one grasps the channels and winds. By the instructions of the inner union of the four times, one exhausts the speech of language. By the instructions of the secret union of the four times, one naturally settles the mind without fabrication. By the instructions of the suchness union of the four times, one unites the mother and child luminosities. From that very text: In the outer four times, the yogi trains the skill of the body, grasping the source of the channels is key. In the inner four times, the yogi trains the skill of speech, cutting off the ornaments of speech is key. In the secret four times, the yogi trains the skill of the mind, becoming accustomed to sleep is key. In the suchness four times, with these, body, speech, and mind are gathered, and great luminosity is mixed with sleep. Having become accustomed in this way, the yogi will surely unite with the three kayas. Thus. The methods of practicing these are explained in detail in the union of the four times. Here, the essential points of the luminosity union of the four times are briefly explained, and there are four points: During the day, seal the senses with appearances. In the evening, gather the senses into their places. At midnight, place knowledge into the vase. At dawn, make wisdom clear. In the first point, there are two aspects: the main practice and the subsequent attainment. The main practice is to mix it with sleep, holding the breath gently in the lion's sleeping posture. Without closing the eyes, focus the mind on the sphere of five-colored light in the heart and sleep. When external appearances gradually fade away, at the boundary between sleep and dreams, there is a clear, non-conceptual awareness. Recognize that as luminosity, and sleep without sinking into dullness. That is sleep luminosity.

Clearly appearing, there are no dreams. Awareness is naturally clear in the state of Samadhi. If one falls asleep, one is aware that the appearances of forms, sounds, smells, etc., in the vicinity have not ceased. If one does not fall asleep, circumstances will cause one to awaken from that state. It is merely that conceptualization has ceased from the daytime appearance, but the appearances of phenomena are still clear. This is because the consciousness of the six aggregates has ceased, but the consciousness of the five senses has not ceased and is still clear. When the consciousness merges into clear light, the winds enter the central channel. Because the consciousness of the five senses is non-conceptual, the appearance of objects is also not under the control of grasping. This is called the clear light of clarity and non-conceptuality. At this time, the clear light of bliss is present in the state of Samadhi, the clear light of clarity is present in the appearance without ceasing, and the clear light of non-conceptuality is naturally present in that state with the characteristic of non-conceptuality. Therefore, the clear light of the ground-nature is primordially pure, and the clear light of the son-clarity is naturally clear, and the two merge inseparably. Because clarity arises again in the original clarity, it is called the union of the mother and son clear light. In the "Destruction Treatise," it says: "By the supreme transference of clear light, through practicing the meditation of sleep, having become proficient, whether day or night, when the external appearances are clear, this will accomplish the great clear light." So it says. The clear light of naturally occurring bliss is present at the time of co-emergent joy in meditative absorption. The clear light of clarity is present when meditation is integrated day and night. The clear light of non-conceptuality is present when the grasping and conceptualization of the mind have ceased. It is also present at other times, but it is difficult to recognize, but at that time, the analogy is clear and the meaning is easy to understand. From the clear light of bliss, the experience of being unable to separate from Samadhi and the appearance of joyful and blissful phenomena arise. From the clear light of clarity, one sees smoke, mirages, fireflies, clouds, lightning, flames, the moon, Rahu, the shape of black jewels, the appearance of five-colored lights, bindus, deities, sentient beings, and many pure lands. One sees coarse, penetrable external forms, and one is able to pass through walls and fences from the meditation room, etc., and various clairvoyance and prescience arise. From the clear light of non-conceptuality, meditation is integrated day and night, and whatever appears vanishes into non-conceptuality when looked at, and whatever is said vanishes into non-conceptuality without substance, and one always abides in the state of space.
