Through practice, one attains Buddhahood without the need for tangible results. Thus, the essence of the manifestation of the direct perception of Dharmata is the luminous clarity of space and wisdom. As stated in the *Wordless Scripture*: "The unborn, directly perceived Buddha sees the manifestation of purity without object." And as stated in the *Illusion Scripture*: "The jewel, precious light, and splendor are the direct perception of all Buddhas." The definition is seeing the manifestation of the three bodies. As stated in the *Tantra of Precious Accumulations*: "The meaning of 'direct perception' is seeing, the meaning of 'three' is the three bodies, establishing the Buddhafields." The necessity is that this key point liberates without error or obscuration. As stated in the same scripture: "Without the key point of the direct perception of Dharmata, it is like the blind going to a cliff." The key point, as stated in the *Excessive Measure Tantra*: "The unwavering lasso is the key point; this is combined with the three times of viewing." And as stated in the *Wordless Scripture*: "The eye should be pressed firmly; from the corner of the eye, space arises; the eye should be regarded as the realm of space." The manifestation, as stated in the *Excessive Measure Tantra*: "The manifestation of the direct perception of Dharmata definitely arises from the gate of the senses, clear like the cloudless sky." Furthermore, through the channels and wheels, the five wisdoms that abide in their own nature are seen with the eye like bubbles. As stated in the *Self-Arisen Scripture*: "The light body endowed with five wisdoms is extremely clear in the bindu, which is going and coming, moving and flickering." And as stated in the *Lion's Complete Power Scripture*: "That object of self-appearing wisdom abides in the bindu of wisdom." And as stated in the *Jeweled Ornament Scripture*: "In the lasso water lamp, the wisdom of the Buddha who has perfectly realized, the body of the bindu is completely clear." The method of practice is, first, to do short sessions with many repetitions; second, to increase the sessions and lengthen the duration; third, to practice day and night without interruption, and to place awareness within the enclosure of space, making it unmoving. As stated in the *Burning Lamp Scripture*: "Space is the self-abode of awareness; the vajra is the bindu; this should be placed within." The result is that when the eyes do not move in the external manifestation of space, the inner awareness abides on the ground, the pulses naturally dissolve and rotate, separated from the horse of the lung wind of the lungs, wisdom

The sky of earth dissolves into the sky of space, thereby liberating into equality and non-differentiation. The primordial purity of awareness, without moving from space, naturally abides in the spontaneously luminous realization in the heart. That yogi is said to have attained the primordial luminosity of reality, thus samsara is emptied into namelessness, and the three realms are cut off. As it says in the Transcendent Intellect: "Therefore, the nature of reality is the key to direct perception. By merely seeing, one knows. By knowing it, one realizes. By merely realizing, one becomes liberated. Liberation is not something to be untied. Rather, the sky merges into the sky. Since its nature is without object, there are no undifferentiated parts. For the fortunate one who finds direct perception, the three realms of samsara are nameless. Therefore, the three realms are cut off." So it is said. Second, regarding the appearance of increasing experience, there are two aspects. Briefly stated: By practicing space-awareness more and more, just as outwardly, awareness abides in space-appearance like a string of beads, inseparable. Inwardly, the empty space of primordial purity and the space of self-radiant awareness abide non-dually, so the luminosity of mother and child merge, and various experiential appearances increase. As it says in the Transcendent Intellect: "The increase of experiential appearances is: The colors of wisdom arise outwardly, extending upwards and radiating, various bindus in one's own body, clearly appearing in the realm of coarse objects." So it is said. Explaining in detail: The term 'increasing experience' refers to two kinds of experience: the experience of knowledge and the experience of appearance. The experience of knowledge includes worldly experiences of knowledge, such as the joy and happiness obtained through samadhi, attachment to song and dance, and the desire to do things. It also includes transcendent experiences of knowledge, such as the degree of realization of emptiness and clarity, free from extremes, along with the power of wisdom. By familiarizing oneself with this from beginning, middle, and end, three things arise: the experience of joyful knowledge, the experience of ultimate change, and the experience of appearance. The first is: By subduing the key points of body and speech, the winds and mind become subdued. Inwardly, one is immersed in the state of samadhi, luminosity, and emptiness. Knowledge becomes vast, and a vast joy and happiness without grasping arises freely, yet without even a hair's breadth of attachment or clinging. This arises from the essence of natural meditation being reached. If joy and happiness arise from artificial meditation, the experience is more likely to change, and one is prone to crude performances or the desire to sing and dance, thus attachment arises.
