Wisdom should be explained. From the image of the mirror-like wisdom, forms and colors, etc., appear completely. White shines because it is free from impurities. Its own nature manifests, combining samsara and nirvana. Because the forms of all dharmas appear, it is called self-knowing wisdom. Clear and empty, liberated by emptiness. The conceptual thoughts of grasping at liberation cease. The basis of liberation without abiding is complete. What is called equality is composed of two equal causes and three equal conditions, as well as equal time and measure. In this, there is no duality, free from bias. Undivided and indistinguishable, the two self-abiding aspects. What is called equality, in the nature of dharma, is free from the proliferation of suffering. What is called "-ness" is without fabrication or effort. The self-nature abides, the essence is empty. All conceptual thoughts of mind-nature cease. What is called wisdom, from abiding, by realizing its characteristics, does not abide in either samsara or nirvana. Individual realization is the category of sense consciousness. Whatever appears to whatever, that is its dharma. The order is clearly distinct. Through contemplation, after one's own appearance is purified, awareness becomes the nature of an object. What is called "individual" appears in the manner of an antidote in distinction. What is called "realization" is seeing the characteristics. Accompanied by the increase of one's own appearance. When wisdom first arises, the faults of afflictions are purified by wisdom. What is called "accomplishing activity" is that after effort and exertion naturally cease, all dharmas naturally abide and are naturally liberated. From the manifestation of the basis of natural liberation's completion, one obtains the stainless, free from subtle parts and dust. It transcends the object of speculation, it is the dharma-nature that has never been separated. Self-nature is complete, the limits of appearance cease. It should be realized all at once. Because of accomplishment, one is separated from desire, there is no repetition or reversal. What is called "Ye" is the meaning of abiding itself. After it has become manifest through wisdom, one goes to the place where all dharmas cease. The expanse of dharma is vast, because it is not fixated on the edges and the center, it is the pure dharma-nature of the basis of liberation. What is called "dharma" is to practice, there is no past or worldly activity, self-nature is clear and transparent. What is called "expanse" is to open up space, it is the abode of the great self-arisen. What is called "Ye" is the nature of completeness, from the beginning there is no fabrication. By wisdom, one is liberated from both samsara and nirvana, it is the complete intention of self-appearance. Thus it is. Moreover, in the aspect of great compassion, there are two types of wisdom: wisdom gathered by wisdom and wisdom gathered by the knowable.

For the Buddhas, the intention of Dharmakaya and wisdom abides as naturally clear and manifest. For sentient beings, it abides as a subtle essence. As it is said: 'The wisdom gathered by knowledge pervades all Buddhas and sentient beings, without distinction and without inherent existence. It is completely pure and perfect with the Buddhas, abiding without defilement and free from dust. From the appearance of the six classes of sentient beings, it abides in their respective continuums.' Thus it is. The wisdom gathered by the knowable has two aspects: In terms of 'how many,' it knows all appearances of knowable things distinctly and without mixing. In terms of 'how,' it knows the reality of knowable things as being like space, free from elaboration. Furthermore, in the Madhyamaka-karika it says: 'The wisdom gathered by the knowable should be known as twofold. Therein, the knowable, how many, is explained. This knows the minds of those to be tamed. By understanding the benefit of others, it knows the nature of all dharmas.' 'How many' refers to reality, and 'how many' makes it completely perfect. Wisdom is for the benefit of all sentient beings, and with wisdom, it completely excavates the three realms. The wisdom aspect of the Nirmanakaya is perfected in its own self-appearing nature. The wisdom of knowing 'how' is explained; on the object of expression that is free from appearances, the clear image of pure self-appearance is manifest. In knowing the reality of things, by realizing self-benefit, the root of cyclic existence is exhausted. 'How many' refers to reality; in the view, practice without distraction. Knowing has no end, therefore it is perfect. Wisdom is that which has become the path, and wisdom has reached its limit. From the great basis of uncreated self-liberation, there is no movement. Thus it is. The division of wisdom into twenty-five is as follows, as stated in the Vajrasattva Heart Mirror: 'Oho, listen, Lord of Secrets! Each of the five wisdoms should be known as five, making twenty-five in total. Their divisions are as follows: Dharmadhatu wisdom, Dharmata Dharmadhatu wisdom, Dharmadhatu completely pure wisdom, Dharmadhatu great wisdom, Dharmadhatu all non-duality wisdom, these five. Mirror-like wisdom, great mirror wisdom, non-conceptual clear wisdom, non-conceptual pure wisdom, clear and non-grasping wisdom, these five. Equality wisdom, equality unceasing
