I wish to accomplish the three Bodhis of the Buddha, but I do not want what is called the Mahayana and Mantra path. For the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, there are eight inferior grounds, such as the ground of seeing white. Based on these, one can enter the stream-enterer, once-returner, non-returner, and Arhat stages. Each stage is divided into entering and abiding, thus they are called the eight stages of great beings. For Bodhisattvas, it is said that there are also four fruits of the ascetic on the ten bhumis (such as the Joyful Ground). These are also from Rigpa Rangshar: The Shravaka Vehicle is like this: the gate of entry is the Four Noble Truths, which is the common gate of entry for Shravakas. There are said to be two divisions: Vaibhashika and Sautrantika. The view of the Vaibhashikas is that for the skandhas, dhatus, and ayatanas, they analyze them like a yak tail or tender grass. If it becomes the object of one's own wisdom, they consider them to be dust and minute particles. Similarly, by analyzing in this way, they meditate on emptiness. The view of the Sautrantikas is that through the nature of recitation, and through the three of hearing, thinking, and meditating, by meditating on the three wisdoms, they want to attain the fruits of the ten bhumis. The common characteristic of the Shravakas is that they meditate on the Four Noble Truths and believe in four fruits. The method of meditation is as follows: if one wants to meditate on cessation, one must abandon the origin. The method of meditating on cessation is as follows: for these external elements, entering a state of non-attachment, one must first become accustomed to food. Once accustomed to food, one must meditate on samadhi, meditating on non-conceptual single-pointed meditation. One wants to attain the fruit in the teachings of the Victorious Maitreya. The way to abandon the origin is as follows: abandoning the notion of food, one wants to cut off the continuity of the origin. Therefore, one must meditate on the antidote to hatred, abandoning all defilements. The way to meditate on the grounds and paths is as follows: meditating on the antidote to desire, meditating on the antidote to ignorance. Similarly, the meditation of the path is wanting to abandon suffering. The way to meditate on the path is as follows: as an antidote to desires, in the center of one's forehead, visualize a white skeleton the size of a thumb. From meditating on the white light, it arises.

Just that body. Then meditate on that body. Then meditate on your own target. Then meditate on everything that appears. Thus, the three thousand worlds are white. Thus, having become accustomed to white, one can abandon the suffering of desire. To abandon the suffering of ignorance, on the crown of one's own head, visualize a bright red, blazing flame. Through meditation, wisdom becomes clear, and the mind also desires emptiness. By this, one abandons the suffering of ignorance. Thus, by meditating on these four aspects, one obtains four fruits. What are the four fruits? The fruit of meditating on cessation is the attainment of stream-entry, from the attainment of great joy onwards, up to the seventh ground. By the nature of meditating on the origin, one obtains once-returning, obtaining up to the eighth ground. By the merit of meditating on the path, the fruit of Arhatship is obtained, obtaining the complete tenth ground. When abiding on the grounds and the path, one listens and learns. Bodhisattvas below the seventh ground listen to their respective teachers. Bodhisattvas below the eighth ground want to listen to the emanation body. That is not seen as a real thing, but is heard through blessing. The Hearer Vehicle thinks that way. Thus it is said. Secondly, the Pratyekabuddha Vehicle also has five aspects. The essence is: because it is solely for one's own benefit, without relying on a Bodhi master, the method of manifesting in the last existence is the nature of realizing half of no-self. The definition is: wanting to become a Buddha alone. The purpose is: to obtain the intermediate Bodhi that liberates from samsara. The result is: two Arhats. The divisions are: like a swarm of bees flying around, and like a rhinoceros dwelling alone. Among these, the one dwelling alone like a rhinoceros is that, for all the dharmas summarized by the four truths, by meditating on the twelve links of dependent origination in forward order, one wants to abandon all subtle attachments of the three realms. That is, from the cause of ignorance arises action, from consciousness to old age and death, knowing the prior and subsequent cause and effect. The view is that the self of the person and half of the self of phenomena, the externally grasped particles with and without parts, both do not exist, like an image, naturally without essence and unborn.
