is seen. Thereafter, with the eye of wisdom, one sees a hundred verses; with purity, one has power over a thousand; with extreme purity, one sees the meaning of ten thousand and a hundred thousand; and with utmost purity, one sees the meaning of a million, a million, and countless things without any reversal. Thereafter, with the eye of wisdom, one sees a hundred fields of manifestation bodies at once; with purity, one sees eight hundred thousand fields; with extreme purity, one sees ninety million fields; and with utmost purity, one sees ninety-one million fields. Thereafter, with the eye of omniscience, one sees a hundred realms of enjoyment bodies at once; with purity, one sees five hundred thousand; and with extreme purity, one sees seventy countless billions at once. Thereafter, with the eye of all aspects of knowledge, one sees the inconceivable realm of the Dharma body at once; with purity, one sees the inconceivable realm of the enjoyment body at once; with extreme purity, one sees the inconceivable realm of the manifestation body at once; and with utmost purity, one sees the endless realm where the three bodies play in various ways at once. Thereafter, there is the direct perception of the ear. With the divine ear, in addition to hearing things as they are, one hears the sounds of hidden beings; with purity, one hears up to a thousand yojanas; with extreme purity, five thousand; and with utmost purity, one hears the sound up to two hundred thousand yojanas. With the fleshly ear, one hears the sounds of the lower realms up to a hundred thousand yojanas; with purity, the sounds of the Asuras; with extreme purity, the sounds of the gods; and with utmost purity, one hears the sounds of beings in countless realms at once. With the ear of liberation, one hears the sounds of Hearers and Solitary Realizers; with purity, one hears the sounds of Bodhisattvas discussing the Dharma; with extreme purity, one hears the sounds of countless Buddhas; and with utmost purity, one hears the Dharma discussions of countless seven Buddhas. Thereafter, there is the direct perception of the nose. With the divine nose, one senses invisible odors; with purity, one senses the odors of tangible things; with extreme purity, one senses the odors of formless things; and with utmost purity, one senses the odors of those who dwell in space.

With a well-adorned nose, one simultaneously senses the odors of the six realms of beings; when completely pure, one senses the odors of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas; when exceedingly pure, one senses the odors of Bodhisattvas; and when supremely pure, one senses the odors of Buddhas. The direct perception of the tongue is: with a pure tongue of the elements, one experiences the nectar of the gods and the tastes of the world; when completely pure, one experiences the taste of seven thousand nectars; when exceedingly pure, one experiences the taste of the great nectar of the accomplishments of the Ḍākinīs; and when supremely pure, one finds the hero who swirls with nectar. With a tongue that is completely pure by eliminating afflictions, one experiences the taste of the samādhi of the great arrangement; when exceedingly pure, one experiences the taste blessed by seven thousand Buddhas; and when supremely pure, one experiences the taste of the nectar blessed by seven million Buddhas. The direct perception of the body is: with a body that is completely pure to the limit of minute particles, one enjoys the tactile sensations of soft gentleness; when completely pure, one touches the immaculate body of Maitreya; when exceedingly pure, one touches the body adorned with a thousand suns; and when supremely pure, one touches the maṇḍala of the heart of the body that is infinitely equal. With a body that is free from defilements, one touches the hearts of the Buddhas of the past; when completely pure, one touches the hearts of the Buddhas of the present; when exceedingly pure, one touches the hearts of the Buddhas of the future; and when supremely pure, one touches the hearts of the Buddhas who are inseparable from the three times. The direct perception of the mind is: with a mind that is naturally pure, one has power over ten samādhis; when completely pure, one has power over a hundred; when exceedingly pure, one has power over a thousand; and when supremely pure, one has power over ten thousand. With a mind that is liberated from the limits of form, one can transform the powers of the four elements individually; when completely pure, one can transfer beings to a common place; when exceedingly pure, one can transform the places of the six realms; and when supremely pure, one can seize the magical power of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Thus, of the six senses: six eyes, three ears, two noses, two tongues, two bodies, and two minds, seventeen in total, each is combined with four categories of dharma, so there are sixty-eight direct perceptions of the senses, which, when summarized, are contained within the six roots. If someone asks, "At this time, since the three doors of body, speech, and mind are separated from self-nature and do not become self, is it not unreasonable for the direct perceptions of these to arise?" then it is reasonable only because the senses with material form are pure. Previously, the three doors were like clouds, and awareness was like the maṇḍala of the sun.
