Not straying from that, the view is naturally absent. It is neither existent nor nonexistent, it abides in that nature. Thus it is said. Second, the meaning of the ocean of stillness: In the ocean of tears, when the empty form, the image of the stars appear, knowing that there are no waves of clinging to affirmation and negation, attachment, practicing with clarity and without gathering or scattering, is called looking at the top of the banner of non-submersion in the profound, unfathomable ocean of Dharma. From the letterless: The meaning of the ocean of stillness: It is not appearance, nor is it the maker of appearance. It is not emptiness, nor is it existent in emptiness. It is not clarity, but the realm of great clarity. It is not sinking, nor is there the nature of agitation. It does not move, it does not shift, it does not change into movement. It does not act, it does not move, it transcends all actions. It does not arise from action, look to the great way of abiding. Do not gather or scatter, in the nature of one stillness. It is not abiding, nor does it stray from that. In the ocean of secret wisdom, like that, naturally and spontaneously, abide in the immovable realm. In the great ocean that is difficult to fathom, look to the top of the banner of non-submersion. Without the mind of emptiness, the great body of non-contrivance. Without action, therefore victorious over all actions. Originally unborn, the stillness of non-contrivance itself. Not transformed by appearance, not contrived by mind. If the Dharma nature abides in space, then the meaning is shown. The wisdom of the Dharmakaya, utterly abandoning thought. If there is no movement, then it is the meaning of meditation. If one does not cling to any direction of the object of focus, like the stars appearing in the depths of the ocean. Without clinging, clarity is not extinguished. The way of abiding of the meaning is just like that. Thus it is said. Third, the instruction of the stillness of awareness: Slightly pressing the eyes and looking to the side, in the appearance of space, holding the continuous bindu as a prisoner. That itself says: The instruction of the stillness of awareness, this is the ultimate of secrecy. The eyes must be pressed very hard, observing without separating from it. From the corners of the two eyes, space arises, the light is subtle and entwined. From that arises the essence, the continuous bindu. Subtle, flowing, and changing. The eyes are regarded as the realm of space, appearing as the bindu of the Buddha's body. From that, obtaining the warmth of the meaning, the body of awareness is the continuous bindu. Appearing as accompanied by the body. Thus it is said. Fourth, the method of staring at appearances: Wisdom

The five great lights of one's own nature, such as rainbow patterns, reveal the clarity and lucidity of awareness in that state of appearance. There is no dullness, no scattering or agitation, and no clinging to anything. One abides in the experience of bliss-clarity-non-thought, without engaging in grasping. As it says in the Secret Wordless Teachings: The great method of directly beholding appearances is the basis of all great appearances. The manifestations of the five elements appear as the path of the Buddhas. The five great ones themselves are clear as the appearance of the Mother. Without distraction, rest in the great non-grasping state. The great secret mantra, the five great wisdoms. Rest the five great ones in the unmoving space. Directly beholding the awareness of Vajrasattva reveals all the appearances of the Dharmakaya. By directly beholding the appearances of pure wisdom, rest in the state of the great direct beholding, the secret method of resting. The appearances of the body, the five elements, are not abandoned. Rest in the meaning of the non-distracted state. So it is said. All of these are also united in the state of a single view, without attachment or clinging to the space of awareness. Third, to ascertain the key points through the four yogas and integrate them into oneself. Among the four: view, meditation, action, and result, the first is to make the view into yoga. Just as seeing reflections appear in a clear ocean, when one sees through the appearances of the Lugu Gyü with complete transparency, one looks at it, but the inner awareness is free from pride and rests nakedly and transparently. As it says in the Jeweled Garland: With the continuous yoga of view, look unchangeably at its meaning. That is also the body of the Lugu Gyü, appearing manifestly but difficult to grasp. The example of awareness, its very essence, abiding unceasingly and transparently, is like the sun, moon, and stars appearing in a clear ocean. Not being a time of dullness, it abides in various great transparent states. With the continuous yoga of view, if one looks at its meaning without distraction, there is neither dullness nor non-dullness. So it is said. To make meditation into yoga is to practice without moving or agitating the Lugu Gyü. As it says in that very text: Although there is no continuity of self-awareness meditation, the continuous yoga of meditation arises. At all times, whether appropriate or not, if one does not separate from the Lugu Gyü, it is the continuous yoga of meditation. So it is said. And as it says in the Wordless Teachings: The key point of meditation is shown in the Lugu Gyü. So it is said. To make action into yoga is when looking at the Lugu Gyü,
