Being free from harms such as..., one can gain the power to rule here. If these actions are named, they are called the actions of ruling appearances. One can transform the unbelief of others, revive the dead, accomplish magical powers, and wisdom manifests as the nature of reality, thereby gaining the power to rule over the elements of appearance, such as earth, water, fire, and wind. The key instruction for this is the method of gazing at appearances. By training on fragments of things that possess characteristics, the image becomes completely pure, thereby achieving gazing and release on whatever appears. At this time, the intention is called the foundation of existence and appearance, which means that all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana manifest naturally in the mind without needing to be learned. When this happens, afflictions are transformed into wisdom, and there is no difference between knowledge manifesting as afflictions and manifesting as wisdom, but rather it is liberated into one wisdom, so that afflictions cannot cause harm, just like dyeing cloth with color. In the "String of Pearls" it says: The aggregates, elements, and sense bases are liberated in the lineage and the lord of the lineage. Therefore, it is not like one must meditate relying on actions, but rather one is liberated by this itself, so it is shown as a condition for a person's path to be complete and without error. Secondly, there are also five yogas that are performed during meditation sessions: meditation combining day and night, the key instruction for which is the method of ocean stillness, the key intention at this time is the foundation of existence and appearance, the result of which is the increase of afflictions, and that is the time when one abides in the Dharma. The first has four: the bodhisattva's contemplation, the meditation of profound secret mantra, the mind-holding of gods and humans, and the intention of the Sugata. The first, in the "Destruction Theory", says: That which arises from the descent of nature, should be called pure contemplation. Channels, winds, bindus, body key points, eyes, and emptiness, are said to be meditation. Letters, light, and colors, and the expansion and contraction of transformations, are said to be samadhi. The un fabricated, self-abiding nature, how it does not change from that, is the intention of the Buddhas. And in the "Union of Sun and Moon" it says: There are three types of meditation: the meditation of the minds of gods and so on, the contemplation of the Great Vehicle, and all the Buddhas of the three times.

It is said that this is the intention (of the Buddha). It is said in the Rangshar Tantra: The mind-grasping of gods and humans, the meditation of Bodhisattvas, and the intention of the Tathagatas (Buddhas). Thus it is said. For these, practice with three general meanings. It is said in the Thalgyur: Again, the life-force of meditation is explained, determined by the scriptural authority of the mind. Furthermore, for all the key points of meditation, there are three aspects: preliminary, main practice, and concluding practice. Taming the body and taming the mind itself, perfecting the actions of speech, and placing the mind on the path. Relying on the breath, separate body and mind, in order to cut off the escape routes of the three realms. From the root, reverse the attachment to body and speech, in order to make the six realms equally on the edge of a cliff. Sharpen the key points of body, speech, and mind, in order to blend the mind itself with the Dharma. Straighten the breath and awareness upwards, in order to exhaust illusions. Always become accustomed to the breath. Thus it is said. Among these, first, the meditation of Bodhisattvas has two aspects: essence briefly stated, and categories explained in detail. The first is from the Dungyikchan: The meditation of Bodhisattvas is to stop the clinging of thoughts. The key point of the body is the lotus posture. The joints of the spine should be straightened. The hands should form the equal mudra. The neck should be slightly bent. The eyes should be lowered to the tip of the nose. The key point of awareness is at a distance of an arrow's length. Do not look at these with the eyes. The breath is to be drawn inward. Exhale extremely slowly outward. The mind should also be placed equally in the same way. Thus it is said. It is said in the Rangshar Tantra: The meditation of Bodhisattvas is not a grasping of the mind, but arises naturally or forcefully. After becoming accustomed, it merges into the expanse. Abandoning the perception of food. Practiced by those who abide on the ground. Conceptual thoughts naturally disappear. Thus it is said. The second has three aspects: The meditation of natural force is the meditation that exists when the mind and consciousness are unintentionally distracted, like the eyes of an arrow-straight person, or the eyes of a rabbit sleeping in the grass, which exist when consciousness is distracted. The meditation of abiding on the ground is the samadhi of each of the ten bhumis. The meditation of constant reliance on an object is artificial meditation, such as the stages of learning the four sessions of meditation. These are also said in the Sun and Moon Union Tantra: The meditation of the Mahayana is the natural force of
