It is called "Appearance of the Earth." Blue is said to be the nature of Dharmadhatu. As it is said in "The Blazing Lamp": When the eye consciousness is purified, The five clear and blazing rays of light, Also in the manner of unchanging pervasiveness, Abide in the great self-radiance of blue. Because the manifesting appearance is uninterrupted, It appears in various ways to external objects. It is said that: From the upper limit of existence, These two enter from the rays, From the nature of skillful means and wisdom, The two intertwine and become one, Without being touched by a single finger. Because it possesses the cause for the arising of daytime, It transforms into appearance, and even at night, It adheres to the very nature of blue. The nature of Dharmadhatu, the home of light, In the great unchanging primordial radiance, For all Buddhas and sentient beings, Without being made by anyone, From the beginning, it abides equally without duality. This, from vastness and minuteness, Arises as a rain of one's own awareness, It is directly perceived and extremely secret. For this great secret, Wherever one wishes to apply it, It is becoming a Buddha again from the primordial Buddha. So it is said. For example, in "The Garland of Pearls": Like a rainbow in the sky, Purity exhausts the stains of affliction. So it is said. And as it is said in "The Blazing Lamp": Like the vowel mark nāro, The pair of two, combined as one. Black cannot be transformed. Having gained confidence in habituation to this, Like a rainbow in space, Colors are unmixed and completely perfect. Then again, by the power of habituation, For those who possess its signs, The realm of space is also the same. So it is said. The key to how to practice is: First, by distinguishing the difference between samsara and nirvana, indicate the appearance of Dharmadhatu, fix the eyes on the tip of the nose, and when rainbow light appears, slowly lead the two corners of the eyes, look at the sky, and lead from the corner of the sun, so that it appears in the place where it is directed. Focusing on the center of the light of the moon and the butter lamp, it appears, gradually spreading, and the illusion appears as clear light, which is seen by the degree of habituation. As it is said in "The Blazing Lamp": Distinguishing the difference between samsara and nirvana, Body, speech, etc., settle into stillness. Then examine the appearance of Dharmadhatu awareness. If you gain a degree of habituation to this, The appearance of the external world, Will increase more and more, Gradually attain great habituation to one's own nature. If you gain a stable degree in this, The phenomena will transform into the place of exhaustion, This is what should be habituated.

I have explained in the branches. As it is said in the Transcendence: "The key to the expanse is guidance. The yogi should skillfully practice the contemplation of the sun, and also practice the contemplation of the moon. Whoever practices this constantly, the appearance of delusion will cease, the light of the five pure wisdoms, after the earth, stones, mountains, and rocks are emptied, only a fragment of land like a shipwreck remains, and the skilled guide will make it appear. At this time, the key is to subdue with skillful means, which is to attain the complete Dharma nature. By becoming accustomed to this, the power of Dharma nature, the arising of the body will be self-liberated. Thus, because the arising of the body ceases, the contaminated aggregates do not appear, and one attains perfect enlightenment here." Fourth, in the extensive explanation of the self-arisen lamp of wisdom, there are also eleven aspects: essence, definition, characteristic, division, basis, gate, object, place, measure, example, and key point. The essence is: the aspect of wisdom that pervades other lamps, as it is said in the burning lamp: "The self-arisen lamp of wisdom, is thus the way of knowing all lamps, because it exists in all parts, it is this itself. Because it is the wisdom of discernment, it exists in a way without discernment. In the essence of generating subtle parts, it has existed from the very beginning." The definition is: It says in the same text: "Knowing the real and unreal, all appearances are completely absorbed, knowing the common meaning, finding confidence without searching, knowing the measure of one's own wisdom, the Dharmakaya of pure nature, is self-aware without being found by anyone, surpassing all and appearing supremely. Because there is no place for others to use, the self-arisen, primordially pure realm, is not the realm of others but is self-known. Children do not understand this meaning, because they do not rely on anyone, therefore it is said that the self-arisen appears from the beginning. The lamp makes all Dharma natures appear as non-dual. The mother is the pervasiveness of self-nature." As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: "With wisdom, all phenomena are understood at once, the supreme is the top of everything, the self is free from the Dharma that depends on others, because it arises, it appears freely without obstruction, the gate that arises from the left is not blocked." The characteristic is: the wisdom of self-arisen free from elaboration, truly knowing the phenomena and Dharma nature, the characteristics of self and common Dharma without reversing them, therefore knowing the knowable and
