"Place" is the precious citta. "Palace" is the immeasurable palace where five lights gather. "Path" is the four clear empty tubes that tremble and sway, and especially the path that appears to the field, like the white vein threads connected from the heart like a lasso. "Appearance" is two lamps: the essence of the lamp of pure space, like the letter 'Naro' (藏文:ན་རོ་,梵文天城体:ना,梵文罗马拟音:nā,汉语字面意思:无), appearing as blue and spreading throughout the sky. The essence of the lamp of empty thigle, like the eye of a peacock feather, appearing as self-luminous, round, with five surrounding circles. "Function" is to liberate samsara and nirvana, and to ripen awareness into the body, thereby attaining the ground of primordial dharmata. "Fruit" is the inseparability of space and wisdom, reaching the ultimate, thereby attaining the fruit of the Dharmakaya. These also come from 'Self-Arisen': 'Listen, friends! The suchness of all dharmas will be symbolized by metaphors. That is, the intention of the perfectly complete Buddha is based on the skandha of form. For example, like sleeping in a bed. The place is in the heart, like the body of a vase. The path arises from the four channels, like a string of pearls strung together. The lamp of space awareness is like the letter 'Naro' (藏文:ན་རོ་,梵文天城体:ना,梵文罗马拟音:nā,汉语字面意思:无). The field is empty space. The time is the emptiness of the bardo. Like the mandala of a mirror. The place to go is the precious body, like a rugged mountain path. The place of liberation is the appearance of primordial purity, like the body of a vase.' And from the tantra of 'Vajrasattva Heart Mirror': 'Ah! Listen, great expanse ones! All sentient beings in the world have the essence of the Tathagata, like sesame seeds pervaded by oil. That is, the basis is the skandha of form. The place is in the center of the heart, called the intention of Samantabhadra united, like a joined shell, in the center of the five-colored lights, there is a peaceful deity, the size of a mustard seed, an aura of light.'

Thus it abides. That is the place of wisdom. It is like the form of a vase. The wisdom that arises from that abides in the cranial cavity of the head. Moreover, the form of the wrathful deity, the size of a mustard seed, with eyes as small as the tip of a needle, abides there. It also abides in the form of light rays. The light that arises from that is clear and pure like the center of a mirror, or like the eye of a fish, it abides as light rays. Moreover, the connection point of wisdom is from the tip of the heart upwards, a vein as thin as a white silk thread, upwards along the side of the vertebrae. From there, passing through the path, it enters the head. That vein also emerges from the small left tip and connects to the brain. Moreover, it emerges from the right and left earlobes and connects to the eyes. From that, if the eyes are turned upwards to the sky and one looks by constricting the veins, the light of wisdom will fill the sky, so it is said. Here, the key to the appearance of light is that by focusing on the light vein. For those who possess the manner of seeing and observing, focusing on the light vein from the small left tip, the sky will be filled with light and appear. This is the secret seal of the profound instruction. So it is said. Moreover, regarding the statement that the form is the size of a mustard seed and the eyes are the size of a needle tip, some say that the eyes are larger than the form, the root is thin but the tip is wide. This is a thoughtless statement, speaking carelessly. If the form itself has eyes, it is impossible for them to be larger than the form, and if they extend outwards from that, there would be the fault of being unconnected to the form or of the eyes falling out. Therefore, in the old local language called "Tshampa," "Phultaktsam" is said, and just that word means that the eyes that correspond to the mustard seed must be smaller than the tip of a hair, so ordinary individuals with bubble eyes are not allowed to look. There is no key to not understanding or being confused about this, but those who are not familiar with the terminology may be confused by the words and explain the meaning of the letters in a reversed way. To avoid this doubt, it is clearly explained here. In this way, this place of the secret king is the essential key of the Great Perfection Heart Essence, so it is explained without concealment, in order to illuminate the good path of liberation for those fortunate ones of future generations, so the eye of wisdom is opened. We, who have heard much and have found the eye of Dharma, make this kind of difficult-to-understand benefit visible to all.
