And, leaves, flowers and fruits, smell, taste, sound and touch, various musical instruments, streamers and parasols, victory banners and flags as well, these revolving phenomena, are complete in the body of the yogi. Earth is flesh, the substance itself; water is blood, the gathering itself; fire is heat, which ripens the whole body; wind is breath, which maintains the body's nutrients; sky is mind, which maintains the body's radiance; sun and moon are eyes, which make it clear. Male is birth itself, female is the appearance of death. Planets are the mouth, stars and so on. Clouds are hair, trees are roots. Mountains are the body, rocks are bones. Roots are the heart, the trunk is the legs. Branches are the limbs. Flowers themselves are the five senses. Fruits are the accomplishment of the body. Smell is body hair, taste is skin. Sound is language, touch is the inside. Musical instruments are internal organs, streamers are water. Parasols are feet, victory banners are names. Flags are heat. These are all complete in the yogi's body. In awareness itself, it is like this: the five elements are the five lights. Sun and moon are wisdom and means. Male is the base, female is the path. Planets are signs and measures, stars are dharma. Clouds are compassion, pervading all. Trees are the path of increasing compassion. Mountains are views, unchanging. Rocks are dharmakaya, free from birth and death. Roots are the single cause of all dharmas. Branches are the limbs of enlightenment. The trunk is emptiness, the taste is one. Leaves are the pervasive dharmadhatu. Flowers are the lamp of wisdom. Fruits are the three kayas, naturally complete. Sound is the sound of the nature of reality. Smell is known as the speech of the Buddha. Taste is the taste of experiencing bliss. Touch is the garment of great meditation. Musical instruments are the mandala of the five lights, complete. Streamers are the bright radiance of color. Parasols are the protective canopy of wisdom. Flags are the key point of great instructions. Victory banners are the manifestation of enlightenment, becoming a Buddha. In the face of mind itself, all phenomena are, naturally present in a spontaneously accomplished state. Therefore, all phenomena of mind and things are merely imputed. Thus it is said. That is to say, if the fundamental awareness is not complete, then the closely taken body and mind are not complete. If that is not complete, then the outer objects appearing in the mind are not complete. Just as a widow without a son has no face, and without a face, she will not appear in a mirror. Appearance, is appearance arising from the completeness of body and mind, and that arises from the completeness of awareness. Like Devadatta

Just as having a head means having a face, and having a face allows an image to appear in a mirror. These also come from the Sarva-karmamudra: "How it appears is my very nature, how it arises is my very nature, apart from me, all phenomena, contained by appearance and existence, are not here." And from the Jewel-Adorned Arrangement Sutra: "Like a face and a mirror, whatever appears, appears as it is." And, "All Buddha-fields, are vast, empty, and without self." So it is said. The Treasury of Word and Meaning explains how the Buddha-nature pervades, which is an extensive explanation of the third Vajra-place. The fourth Vajra-place, an extensive explanation of the place of wisdom. Next, to establish the abiding place of the wisdom of awareness, there are two parts: generally showing the actual abiding place, and specifically explaining the key points of the Secret Supreme King. The first part has three aspects: the place, the manner of abiding, and the example. First, the actual place of the wisdom of awareness abides in the precious jewel-like womb of the heart. Its radiance abides in the conch-shell vase burning palace, the palace of the viewing eye, and the palace of the moving channels. From the Thalgyur: "In the palace of the precious mind, a gathering of jewels, an eight-cornered door, the five wisdoms and five bodies, the energies of wind and consciousness are also five, all are of the nature of five fives." And, "In the general and mind channels, abides the unmade pure Dharma-nature." And from the Jewel-Adorned Arrangement Sutra: "The precious eight-cornered palace, and the palace of the moving channels, and the palace of the conch-shell vase, and the palace of the viewing eye, in these four great palaces, abides the great secret of all mantras." And from the Rangshar: "The self-awareness of all sentient beings, abides in the center of the heart." And from the Lion's Complete Power: "Emaho, the wisdom of awareness itself, in all Buddhas and sentient beings, abides in an unchanging manner. Its manner of abiding is as follows: the palace of the precious mind, and the palace of the precious channels, and the palace of the pure conch-shell, and the palace of the bhriguta. In those great palaces, the essence of awareness abides like energy. Its explanation is as follows: in some it abides as a body, in some it abides as a bindu, in one it abides as Oṃ.
