You are also accustomed. Because the objects of the four conditions are impure. Appearance itself appears as manifold. Thus it is said. That is, the cause of delusion is ignorance, the condition is the appearance of objects to knowledge, the appearance of the base as base-knowledge is the deluder, the knowledge that flows and spreads is bound to the apprehended and the apprehender. In the Prasangika it says: The cause of delusion is ignorance, the base and knowledge are defiled, and the way the apprehended and the senses revolve. The condition is from the object and the part of the apprehended, distinguishing the extremes separately, and the support of the object is not knowing the one. The base is without distinction anywhere, and is destroyed without certainty. Knowledge is the movement and disappearance, and the holding of those that spread. Defilement is holding to impurity, that is, knowledge is bound by its own continuum. Even for what is not apprehended, it is tightly bound by truth. Thus it is said. Second, the aspect of the condition is explained in detail, that is, seeing what is not there as being there, there are three causes of delusion for this, namely ignorance: For the part of the thing that is not deluded, it is examined by its own ignorance and goes into delusion, and is called the ignorance of the same self-nature. Not knowing that itself, there is co-emergent ignorance, which occurs in the appearances of both samsara and nirvana. For the appearance of different objects, the ignorance of complete imputation arises from the separate complete examination. For such a cause, there are four conditions: The condition of the cause, the delusion arises from the combination of the three ignorances, just as a man with form and limbs naturally has an evil spirit. From this, the object of the condition appears on the external object like a mirror, and because there is a face on it, the condition appears in the mirror. Because the object of the condition, its own light, shines outward, the condition of the master holds the mirror, the face, and the self-substance as three, just like thinking of the face and the mirror. Together with thinking of light, knowledge, and dharmata as three, it is called the condition of the master. Thus, because the three causes of ignorance and the three conditions are simultaneous, the simultaneous immediate condition is the actual arising of delusion. These also come from the Vajrasattva Heart Mirror Tantra: All these sentient beings of the three realms are first deluded into anything from a base that is nothing at all. The essence of that base is emptiness, its nature is clarity, and compassion is able to appear to sentient beings. To this, holding...

Now, awareness arises from the aspect of ignorance, with a slight movement. The ignorant awareness then has the thought, "Did I arise from it, or did it arise from me?" Merely with this, one is deluded. That ignorance is not on the ground, but exists in experience or appearance. From appearance, four conditions arise. That is, the ground exists in the form of a light sphere, which is called the causal condition, which is the actual ignorance. When it goes into grasping and conceptualization, it is called the dominant condition. When it is grasped as an object, it is called the objective condition, like the appearance of a person's face in a mirror. These three occur simultaneously, so it is called the immediately preceding condition. It is one's own ground, but one does not recognize it, and is deluded, thus the three realms of samsara are formed. From this, the afflictions become coarse, and the forms of sentient beings become different. Such a ground is deluded from impurity. And, in "Glorious and Beautiful," it says: That is, from the state of the spontaneously accomplished jewel box, appearance does not cease, the ground does not change, but appearance changes, following various objects, conceptualizing everything. The appearance of the Dharmakaya does not change, but the appearance of delusion appears as if it changes. Vajrasattva does not have delusion, but he shows the way sentient beings are deluded. Finally, it is turning one's own appearance back to the ground of self-cause. Not recognizing that the non-dual appearance is self-arisen, grasping delusion as self, this is the dominant condition. Not recognizing that the fruit of self-awareness is self-arisen, grasping the cause as dependent, this is the causal condition. Not recognizing that objects and awareness are empty, grasping the object as an object, this is the condition of self-nature. Not recognizing that time is dependent on the self-arisen light, the awareness arises that it is not it but grasps it as it, this is the same as the immediately preceding condition. And, in "Refutation," it says: Therefore, the cause and condition of delusion, parts and limbs, self-nature and also, immature conceptual thoughts are samsara. Ignorance has three aspects, self-nature is one and becomes the root of delusion. The conceptualizations born together are two, universal conceptualization becomes the object. The conditions are four, aggregation and grasping are called delusion. Parts are actions and so on, from the object of delusion, twelve parts are divided. Maturation is age and activity, etc. Limbs are vast differences.
