Some are confused in this way! Some are confused about appearances! Some are confused about experiences! Some are confused about the immediate! Some are confused about the object of focus! Some are confused about non-attention! Some are confused about the one who attends! Some are confused about the object! Some are confused about the absence of an object! Some are confused about the essence! Some are confused about ignorance! Some are confused about conditions! Some are confused about imputation! Some are confused about "I"! Some are confused about not recognizing the true nature! Some are confused about grasping! Some are confused about non-grasping! Some are confused about concepts! Some are confused about causes! Some are confused about moments! Some are confused about signs! Some are confused about form! Because there are twenty-one minds of sentient beings in the bardo, twenty-one ways of being confused will fully appear, that is, each way of being confused will give rise to a phenomenon. This is a detailed explanation of the ways of being confused in the bardo. Second, a detailed explanation of the ways of liberation of the faculties. In general, no matter how much the length of moments of meditation is taught, it is included in these twenty-one ways of liberation of the faculties. The best faculties are liberated in three moments: in the first moment, one sees one's own appearance; in the second, one distinguishes the specific; in the third, one is liberated from the distinction. In this also, the most excellent of the best are liberated into primordial purity as soon as the third moment is completed. The three moments of the remaining six are the three moments of the completion of the action. The length of meditation varies, as is clearly stated in the tantra. Medium faculties are liberated in four moments: in the first moment, one's own appearance arises; in the second, one recognizes one's own sound; in the third, one abides in the recognition; in the fourth, one is liberated from the abiding. The lowest faculties are liberated in five moments: in the first moment, phenomena arise; in the second, investigation enters; in the third, one recognizes one's own appearance; in the fourth, one abides in the recognition; in the fifth, one is liberated from the abiding. These are also moments of the completion of the action, and the length of meditation varies, as in the tantra. Some say that moments and meditation are the same, but this is because they do not understand the difference between part and whole, and they confuse various concepts. A moment is the way of realization, it is the part of wisdom, while meditation is abiding, it is the part of samadhi. Moments are divided into three

Even when summarized, there is no contradiction. Even when divided into one and five, there is no contradiction. Because it is just recognizing the self-time of the arising of the realization of the degree of liberation, other than that, there is no confusion. For the parts of each meditation that are spoken of in the tantras, there has been no excessive summarization or distinction. Know that all meditations are bound by moments. If these are not distinguished, the parts will be confused, and there will be the fault of not knowing what to say or where to place them, so this point is very important. These certainties should be understood from the tantras. As it says in Rangshar: Among them, those of superior faculties attain Buddhahood in three moments, and the nirmanakaya appears naturally. That is, in one moment, the appearance of the collection ceases; in one moment, the appearance of spontaneous accomplishment arises; in one moment, the truth of primordial purity is seen. Moreover, the nirmanakaya is not emitted from the ground of primordial purity, but on the path, having obtained the Suchness of all powers. For example, like a meteor streaking across the sky, the nirmanakaya, like a meteor emitting light, acts for the benefit of beings, and benefiting beings can only be realized after three days. The peak of superior faculties remains in the bardo for one day. That is also seeing one's own appearance in the appearance of wisdom union. That is also because two fires of wisdom arise from one's own eyes, and the rain of weapons falls, everything is burned away, and the appearance appears without ceasing, so one's own awareness awakens, and one sees one's own realm, and one gains certainty on the ground of spontaneous accomplishment, and one should also understand it like a meteor. The supreme of superior faculties attains Buddhahood in two days, and that is also staying in the appearance of the collection for one day. That is also because one sun of wisdom arises from one's own heart, and from that sun, rays of light radiate in the ten directions. From each tip of those rays of light, one Tathagata Buddha appears. He sees all the objects of appearance as the nature of the Buddha's body. Then again, having gained certainty in the appearance of spontaneous accomplishment, the nirmanakaya can also benefit beings after seven days. Also like a meteor. The most excellent of the superior stays in the bardo for three days. That is also staying on the collection for one day. There also gaining certainty, therefore, in the appearance of wisdom, a part of one's own appearance appears. That is also staying for one day. On the first day, light is seen. On the second day, the Buddha's body is seen, and that Buddha's body is also...
