Before the virtuous Sangha, the field of accumulating merit, Having pleased with offerings and praises, I shall compose these rituals. For the sake of equalizing the sounds of the elements, On the leaves of the Tala tree, The wheel of the five elements, With four spokes, a hub, and a circumference. Earth, water, fire, wind, and space, Thus making five wheels, The colors are distinguished by the elements. On the hub, spokes, and five, Each with its own five letters, The circumference is surrounded by a multitude of Ās. Having thus written the wheels, Offerings, praises, and confessions of sins, Each makes their own desired prayers. In the hub, contemplate the deities of the elements, Recite the number of letters and dissolve them. Then, in a joined cup, Place all those wheels, And bind them with five colored threads. Wood, water, fire, and earth, The breath of different kinds, Mix them all with roasted flour, Mix and make a form one cubit long. Five letters for the five senses, Write on Chinese paper, roll it up and insert it. This will restore the damaged elements. If possessed by a demon, The roasted flour should be the age of the person, The color should be changed accordingly. A piece of one's own stained clothes, And likewise, the substances of the elements, Mix with the flour and make a form. With wool, colors, silk, and feathers, Adorn those forms, And offerings that are similar to those, Should also be made in the same way. Finally, the roasted flour of that form, Should be surrounded by the number of years of the yogi. Consecrate it and speak these words: Take it, take it, you powerful ones! Craving, attachment, and obsession, Memory, grasping, thought, and touch. Release, pacify, and liberate! Recite those words three times. Then send it to the river's course. To avert death, There is no doubt, Nara Kan. So it is. The appearance of death is the function of the aggregation of the channels and winds of the dissolution of the individual elements. In that very tantra it says: Having inflicted disease on the body of a person, The signs that appear in whom, Is the time of death that has been inflicted. Earth dissolves into earth, Likewise water, fire, and wind, Each dissolves into its own nature, In the body of a person, it comes about in this way. When earth dissolves into its own nature, The body becomes heavy and does not take food, All strength to stand and walk is exhausted. When water dissolves into water, Saliva and nasal mucus flow.

will become rough. Similarly, when fire merges into fire, the mouth and nose become completely dry, and the heat at the edges of the body dissipates. Similarly, when wind merges into wind, the breath becomes rapid, the limbs tremble, and the eyes also roll upwards. Whoever experiences these signs, will not remain here but will go to the other shore, because they are certain to go. Thus it is said. The yogi's instruction is that at this time, it should be imparted to those who are fortunate to receive this Dharma. If one has clarity within oneself, that is sufficient, so at this time, one should remember: taking either entering places and abodes, or entering body and wisdom, as the path. The first is transference of consciousness, which is that when the last breath goes out, visualize the awareness in the heart as the full form of the guru, complete with five-colored light, or visualize it as a white "Ah" (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), shooting upwards from the fontanel, while reciting twenty-one "Hik" (Tibetan: ཧིཀ, Devanagari: हिक्, Romanized Sanskrit: hik, Literal Chinese meaning: Hik), one is certain to be liberated. The second is, in one of the three sitting postures, or in the lion posture, focusing awareness on the eyes, focusing the eyes on the dharmadhatu awareness, abiding in the state of primordial purity, without distraction, one is liberated in that very instant. If the dharmadhatu awareness is not clear, then one should maintain unwavering faith in the ways the bardo of dharmata manifests, just as when entrusting something to an unreliable place, no matter where one goes inside or outside the village, above or below, one entrusts it, recognizes the face of dharmata itself, and is certain to be liberated. These also come from the *Sun and Moon Union Tantra*: "At that time, the guru's instructions, should be integrated into one's own continuum. Clarify with these key points. At that time, the fortunate individual, if the appearance is self-luminous, then there is no abiding, awareness self-liberates. After the four winds gradually subside, when propelled by a single great wind, it shows the way to enter places and abodes, as well as the way to enter body and wisdom. The way to enter places and abodes is, the instruction of transference of consciousness and entering another's body, let the consciousness ride the wind and practice, that also requires proficiency in what was practiced before. Collecting and projecting awareness is important, that also requires projecting with 'Hik' (Tibetan: ཧིཀ, Devanagari: हिक्, Romanized Sanskrit: hik, Literal Chinese meaning: Hik). That accords with the guru's instructions. The way to enter body and wisdom is, focus on awareness in this way. With the corpse in the lion posture, focus awareness on the eyes, use only the mind as the path of space. If the dharmadhatu and awareness do not change, then that person has no bardo, there is no doubt about attaining Buddhahood. The breath of death will also become slow. If the
