Since the peaceful appearance has the door of spontaneous accomplishment, the key to seeing pure lands and impure illusory appearances also lies in this. Third, summarizing the meaning by "That very great base appearance, Has no designation called ignorance, Therefore, there is no establishment of delusion. Since it is not universally designated as mind, There is not even a name for the impurity of delusion. Since there is no collection of names and letters, There is no imputed delusion. Since it is not known as Dharma, There is not even a name for delusion imputed by the mind. Since it is not established as mind and intellect, The delusion of movement is naturally absent. Since there are no subtle or coarse impurities, The delusion of arising causes is naturally absent. Since there is no agent and no action, Where is the delusion of grasping objects?" However, from the aspect of knowing one's own nature and becoming a condition for liberation, it is called the basis of liberation. If one does not know, then from the aspect of becoming a condition for delusion, it is called the basis of delusion. Moreover, this base appearance is the basis of liberation, while primordial purity is the place of liberation. Therefore, distinguishing the difference between these two is extremely important, but very few are able to distinguish them well. Because it becomes a condition for delusion, it is called delusion, just like the condition for mistaking a white conch shell for yellow. Although it is not a real delusion, it is named as such when it becomes a condition. As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: "From the appearance of great distinction, Arise existence and non-existence. In general, it is called the basis of delusion, Because of ignorance and combination. Even what is to be known appears as impurity." Also, as it is said in the Conch Shell Script: "There, the uncertain spontaneously accomplished basis, The three ignorances and the four conditions, And the delusion combined by consciousness." Such a base appearance, its nature, the spontaneously accomplished appearance, is vast like the expanse of the sky, and since samsara and nirvana arise from awareness and non-awareness, it is called the unprecedented self-appearance, vast and wonderful, because of its vast expanse. As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: "Clarity, manifest appearance, majestic and great, The appearance itself, spontaneously dense. Recognition and anticipation of the Dharmakaya, The essence, transparent, the space vast. The nature, all-pervading, expansive and great, Compassion, all-arising, blissful and great. All-pervading, primordial radiance, bright and clear, Abiding, unobstructed, the power

Alas, how swift! The self-radiance of awareness, how brilliantly clear! The emptiness from which all arises, how wondrous! By not seeking and abiding, the continuity is so long! By not obstructing, spontaneous arising is so firmly established! The foundation of existence is built, the height is so lofty! Effortless, self-liberation, the scope is so vast! The great primordial perfection, the cycles are so skillful! Five colors complete, the writing is so exquisite! The purity of existence, the expanse is so even! Self-born luminosity, the arrangement is so fine! The great ground-appearance, the capacity is so immense! The two, samsara and nirvana, the connection is so skillful! The five kayas of wisdom, the stacking is so exquisite! Thus it is said. Third, the way of liberation of Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) is that, in the instant of arising from the ground, the eight doors of spontaneous accomplishment of the ground-appearance arise in self-appearance. Without grasping at others, with an impartial mind, recognizing in self-radiance, the movement is cut off in its own ground. In the first instant, self-appearance arises, recognizing its own nature, realization arises and distinctions are made. In the second instant, delusion is cleared and wisdom expands, so the ground matures into the fruit. In essence, realizing the primordial Buddha, it is called becoming a Buddha again. Self-appearance dissolves into primordial purity, and in the ground, the teacher who becomes a Buddha before all is called Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra). In the Tantra, it is said: Thus, in the beginning and end of samsara and nirvana, The Buddha has not become deluded, By the power arising from the ground, Knowing self-appearance to be without self-nature. The thoughts of discrimination and mind are not lost outwards, The movement is cut off in its own ground. That is also in the great abiding nature, Delusion is called pure from the beginning, In non-delusion, there is no need to modify. Non-existence appearing, it is the Dharma of seeing non-existence, The thoughts of fabrication and arising naturally cease. From delusion, it appears as an object, Self-nature, primordial radiance, is without object, All dharmas are equal in one taste. Non-doing, beyond thought, primordial Buddha. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of the Self-Arisen Bliss Wheel, it is said: From a slight movement, awareness arises, then suddenly it dawns, free from addition and subtraction. In the Praise of Names, it is said: In one instant, distinctions are made, in one instant, perfect Buddhahood. That is also the awareness arising from the ground, like a seed, it is uncertain whether liberation or delusion will occur, so it is called immature awareness. What makes it mature into Buddhahood is done by the wisdom of realization. In The Blazing Lamp, it is said: What matures into the fruit is wisdom, wisdom matures into the kaya, the Dharmakaya of essence, is the wisdom of Dharma.
