It is so. Moreover, when the self-power of awareness itself is not pure, and its play obscures awareness itself, as it is said in the Lion's Complete Power: "Buddha's own nature is obscured by Buddha's own nature. The wisdom of the three clear eyes is purified in its own place." It is said that to dispel what is obscured by the power and play of awareness itself, the sun itself also appears. Like the wind moving from the power of sunlight, dispelling the clouds, when one recognizes one's own face, the play appears as an ornament. Confusion is primordially liberated, and because it is liberated in its own place. Confused appearances and confused grasping are purified in the expanse without being abandoned. Gone without a trace, in the clear sky. The spontaneously accomplished sun of body and wisdom rises. It does not come from elsewhere, but is merely a pure self-appearance. The sun, without being obscured, shines brightly by its own nature in the center of the sky, and it also touches the sun itself. Like sunlight shining, the wind that pervades everywhere moves and rises, abiding in its own place. The clouds are lost in the sky. Like the bright sun, the essence of the Dharmakaya of awareness, the gate of self-power manifestation is unceasing. When one's own face is recognized and appears, one knows that the play of appearances and mind is without foundation, rootless, and the self-nature of emptiness. Seeing that there is no meaning in abandoning or taking, one leaves it as it is. Those appearances and minds are self-liberated, appearing as the ornament of wisdom. Because they are purified in their own place without being abandoned. The place where one has gone, and the one who has gone, awaken without foundation. Spontaneous accomplishment and self-nature appear simultaneously in one's own face. Moreover, for those who have great diligence, in this very life, the outer and inner obscurations are purified, and the three bodies appear as self-appearances. In the basic expanse of primordial purity, when one obtains the fruit gathered into one, one's own face is the Dharmakaya. The self-appearing Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya appear. The two purposes of beings arise spontaneously. Moreover, the Dharmakaya of the expanse does not move from the state of Dharmata. It is not divided or separated in any place. There is no basis for establishing a Buddha who is established as a distinct entity. The basis for the appearance of all form bodies also comes from the part of spontaneous accomplishment. To those to be tamed, it appears without before or after in an instant. The appearance of the Buddha appears as the tamer of sentient beings. Sentient beings also appear as those to be tamed by the Buddha. It is also the pure dependent arising where compassion and the place of entry are connected and established. Extreme change.

From then on, the Dharma-nature of all Buddhas is: undivided, inseparable, and equal. Where can sound, words, and names exist? The basis of reliance is self-purification, and delusions are such that the names of samsara and nirvana are not spoken. There is no arising, no birth, no cessation. It is not the wisdom of all arising. There is no taking and no going. In the moment of being free from causes and conditions, the basis of Buddhas and sentient beings appears, which is free from many parts and all divisions. So it is said. Because of being free from the bondage of the material body, it shows the rationality of the yogi realizing his own nature and attaining Buddhahood: Just as a bird grows wings in an egg, although it is not visible now as if wrapped in an eggshell, but like flying in the sky after the eggshell breaks, although the delusions and afflictions of grasping and clinging have been exhausted before, but the remaining fruits of affliction remain. As soon as the eggshell breaks, the spontaneously accomplished awareness manifests itself clearly, and the light of body and wisdom pervades the sky. Recognizing one's own nature is liberated in the realm of Kuntuzangpo. Just as a Garuda's cub completes its wings in the egg, and can fly into the sky as soon as it is free from the eggshell, so also the yogi of the Great Perfection of self-nature, from the bondage of the material body, realizes and grows wings. Although the afflictions of grasping and clinging to delusions as self are exhausted in this life, but because the part of the material body's afflictive results, the Vipaka-born part, has not been abandoned, the qualities of body and wisdom cannot be truly and greatly manifested. But when one is free from the material body, in the Bardo of pure Dharma-nature, the self-appearing light of body and wisdom fills the manifestation, and recognizing one's own nature is liberated in the realm of Kuntuzangpo. As it is said in the Lion's Play: If there is no self-grasping, one will meet the Mother of Dharma-nature. If the knot of the elements is untied, the peg of clinging will fall out. If one is free from the shell of habitual tendencies, one will whirl in the space of Dharma-nature. If one sees the self-appearing wisdom, one will cut the coarse rope of the elements. If there is no obscuring tree of appearance, wisdom will be completely clear. And, in the very body of all sentient beings, there exists the pure manifestation of wisdom. For example, the bondage of the womb and the egg, although obscured and not manifest, but just as they appear after their own abilities are perfected, as soon as one abandons the body of conceptual thoughts, one will meet the self-appearing realm. The self-awareness that has always existed, its nature of non-discrimination will be seen, and the pure manifestation of wisdom and the truth of the Buddha will be seen.
