If there is such a thing as 'is,' then all phenomena are pervaded by the absence of inherent existence, therefore there is no bondage and liberation. Liberation is primordially liberated, therefore there is no basis for liberation. Everything is primordially abiding, therefore there has never been an abider, an act of abiding, or a basis for abiding. This is the suchness that is primordially non-dual. As it says in Tsal Dzog: 'The view of the Great Perfection's intent is that it does not fall to either side of virtue or vice, it transcends the extremes of 'is' and 'is not,' there is no duality of perfection and imperfection. In the nature of Great Perfection awareness, there is no delusion and non-delusion.' Also, as it says in Rangshar: 'It completely transcends the realm of conceptualization, it is liberated from the extremes of grasping and clinging, it transcends the extremes of names and words of characteristics.' The point is to summarize the key points: In short, all phenomena that appear and exist, and all that does not appear and exist, which transcends phenomena, have been liberated in the dharmadhatu from the beginning, so now no one needs to liberate them through effort. All phenomena that can be accepted by the mind, which appear and exist, and that which does not appear and does not exist, refers to nirvana, which for the time being has not become the object of the mind that sees this shore, but ultimately, they are not the objects of the mind's activity. As it is said, in short, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana are primordially empty, beyond thought and expression, and have been liberated in the primordial dharmadhatu. Because there is no inherent existence, there is no need to liberate them again through effort, because they are primordially liberated. As it says in the Root Wisdom: 'Because it is primordially liberated, there is no need to liberate it again.' The justification for these views is as follows: Effort and diligence themselves are meaningless, because even if you make an effort, it is meaningless. Do not do, do not do, do not strive and practice. Do not look, do not look, do not look at the dharmas of the mind. Do not meditate, do not meditate, do not meditate on the dharmas of consciousness. Do not examine, do not examine, do not examine the sequence of objects and mind. Do not accomplish, do not accomplish, do not accomplish the results of hope and fear. Do not abandon, do not abandon, do not abandon from afflictions. Do not take, do not take, do not take the correct dharma. Do not bind, do not bind, do not bind your own continuum. The nature of awareness is empty and clear, therefore, expressing in a double negative way towards the nature that is not established in anything, this is also to prevent the two ways of the grasper and the grasped. Because in the nature of awareness there is no grasped as an action, and no grasper as an actor, therefore do not do the action of effort and the action of practice.

It is strongly stated not to do so. As it is said in 'The Source of Combined Jewels': For things that are extremely meaningful, one word should be said twice. Just like that. Since the nature of awareness has no seer and nothing to be seen, do not look at awareness, which is the object of the mind. Since awareness has no meditator and nothing to be meditated upon, do not meditate. Likewise, it is advised not to have actions, practices, acceptance and rejection, or clinging, because it transcends existence and non-existence, grasping. As it is said in 'Self-Arisen': Freed from the dharmas of existence and non-existence, there is no stain of grasping mind. The key points of these all come down to the sixteen aspects of the categories of dharma, along with their divisions. The key point where the nature of awareness transcends delusion and non-delusion, the essence of the pith instructions, are three: essence, nature, and compassion. The three ways of establishing the view are: let external appearances be, let internal thoughts be, and let secret awareness be. The three key points of action, unattached and self-liberated, are: appearances are liberated as they are, thoughts are self-liberated, and awareness is primordially liberated. The four meditations of primordial certainty are: external appearances, internal awareness, secret awareness, and suchness reality, these four are free from the support of memory and thought. The two secret essences of taking realization as self-luminous are: recognizing the self-awareness of the time of abiding and the time of arising thoughts as transparent. The one place of conveyance for awareness, naturally abiding and without fabrication, is original purity. The two essences of spontaneously accomplished awareness are: essence is originally pure, nature is spontaneously accomplished, transcending permanence and annihilation. The three pith instructions of spontaneously accomplished result are: emptiness, clarity, and unceasing. The five encounters are the five naked natures of the self-purification of the five poisons. The six purities of the meaning of emptiness and clarity are: because it is primordially empty, there is no gathering and scattering; because it is self-empty, it abides in its own place; because it is clear-empty, it does not negate external appearances; because it is essence-empty, it does not move from its nature; because it is existent-empty, it does not grasp at things and signs; because it is non-existent-empty, it establishes the clarity of awareness as unceasing. The eight places of conveyance are: for the eight, existence, non-existence, appearance, emptiness, samsara, nirvana, bondage, and liberation, in the vast expanse of great liberation without clinging, convey into original purity where dharma is exhausted and names are extinguished.
