All wisdom and true dharmas are liberated in their own essence. Thus it is said. Also, in the "Great Garuda," it says: The so-called six realms are empty merely by being named. Emptiness is primordially liberated; the key is non-action, which is that very state. Wherever one goes, there is no place; it is a state of primordial non-fabrication. Thus it is said. Since self-appearance arises as dream and illusion, happiness and suffering, purity and impurity, are all primordially liberated in the groundlessness, as it is taught: Happiness is primordially liberated; the nature of reality is openly liberated. Suffering is primordially liberated; the ground is equally, vastly liberated. The intermediate state is primordially liberated; it is liberated into the dharmakaya, equal to space. Purity is primordially liberated; the pure ground is liberated into emptiness. Impurity is primordially liberated; it is liberated into the great, complete liberation. In the very nature of dreams, happiness and suffering, as well as the intermediate state, the pure Buddha-fields, and the impure illusions of sentient beings, all abide in the groundless essence. Therefore, they are primordially liberated because the cause of their initial arising is emptiness. Since the nature is merely appearance and unceasing, it appears like a reflection, and appears empty in its very appearance. The essence of the present moment is emptiness, so it is liberated from abiding. Since the appearance of compassionate play is unceasing, it is liberated into causeless conditions, so ultimately it appears as coming and going, as emanations. The eight examples of illusion, without cessation, are pure, so the extremes are liberated. Appearance and emptiness are liberated in the play of illusion, as it is said in "Self-Liberation of Awareness": Likewise, all phenomena of characteristics are liberated in the state of no characteristics. All phenomena of actions and entities are liberated in the state of non-action, emptiness. All phenomena of ungrasping self-appearance are liberated in the state of pure emptiness. Thus it is said. Also, in the "Great Garuda," it says: The substances of space cannot be relied upon, and the mind is primordially without bias. To whom does the appearance of samsara and the lower realms become established? It is untrue, like a dream, an illusion, a city of gandharvas. The power of true appearance in falsehood is impossible here. Thus it is said. Similarly, in the "Noble Samadhiraja Sutra," it says: Just as in the midst of many people, illusionists conjure up various forms such as horses, elephants, and chariots, but if one examines them closely, they cannot be found. Know that all phenomena are likewise. Thus it is said. Also, in the "Intermediate Mother Sutra," it says: Subhuti, all phenomena are like dreams, like illusions. Nirvana is also like a dream, like an illusion. If there is a dharma that is even greater than nirvana, that too is like a dream, like an illusion.

Thus it is said. More excellent than Nirvana is the self-originated wisdom, because whether that sphere is realized or not, it becomes the basis of Samsara and Nirvana. The Dohā says: Mind itself is the single seed of all things, from which the flow of existence and sorrow ceases. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, it bestows the fruit of desires. I prostrate to the mind that is like that. And the Kunje Gyalpo says: This very nature of Bodhicitta is the essence of all Dharmas without exception. Because it is unborn and completely pure, it is without obscuration. Because it is free from the path of going, it is without deviation. Because it is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, it is not to be sought. As it appears. Because the path of going is pure like the sky, it is shown to be beyond the object of doing and seeking original liberation, that is: Ground and path are originally liberated, liberated from generation and completion stages. View and meditation are originally liberated, liberated without acceptance and rejection. Conduct is originally liberated, liberated into Samantabhadra. Fruit is originally liberated, liberated without hope and doubt. Samaya is originally liberated, liberated into the great Dharmata. Recitation is originally liberated, liberated from speaking and discussing. Samadhi is originally liberated, liberated into the inconceivable. Because these are not in the nature of awareness, although ground, path, view, meditation, etc. are done in the state of awareness, because the doer and the done are contradictory to reality, one must realize the great non-doing of original liberation. As the String of Pearls says: Without being transformed by conduct, appearances are liberated. Without seeking by meditation, the possessor of Dharma is liberated. Without analyzing by view, permanence and annihilation are liberated. Without being bound by the fruit, one's own mind is liberated. Appearances are originally vast and stable. And the Great Garuda says: Emptiness is originally liberated, the essential non-doing is itself. There is no place to go, from the beginning it is an uncorrected state. The essence of spontaneous abundance is originally the object of appearance. Reciting mantras, asceticism, and meditation obscure its own nature. Transforming letters, virtuous deeds of body, speech, and mind, harm the essential point of original liberation and self-purification. And the Kunje Gyalpo says: Bodhicitta is like the sky. The nature of mind like the sky is Dharmata. There is no view or meditation, no need to protect vows. There is no need to seek activity, wisdom is without obscuration. There is no need to purify on the ground, and there is no path to go. There is no subtle Dharma, no duality, no connection. There is no definitive instruction in the mind, and no need to determine. Transcending addition and subtraction, there is no need to repeat the oral instructions. This is the view of the Great Perfection Bodhicitta. Thus it is said. At this time, to be repeated
