In the Earth-Bird year, we do not desire such emptiness, nor do we need to argue. Arguing with outsiders is merely exhausting. Establishing the eight similes of illusion is to make the self-nature of emptiness easier to understand. The current sights and sounds, the appearing world, the container and its contents, samsara and nirvana, are all considered empty. If they do not appear, since there is nothing to depend on, how can one depend on anything? If one thinks it is the nature of reality, since no nature is established, it is not emptiness either. As stated in the Root Wisdom Treatise: "Emptiness and non-emptiness, and so on, all four extremes, are nowhere to be found in peace." Because no dharma is established, it is imputed. As the Buddhas said: "Neither self nor non-self exists. It has also been examined as emptiness, and it has also been said to be non-empty." Like this, it is proclaimed. These are important tenets of the philosophical schools and should be understood. Now, showing original liberation through the emptiness of observation's own nature: One is liberated, liberated in the realm of dharmata. Non-dual, liberated in the equality of object and mind. Self-arisen liberation, liberated in the realm of wisdom. Spontaneously accomplished liberation, liberated in the purity of the ground-essence. Since everything is unborn, emptiness is liberated as one, and since it does not go beyond the nature of one awareness, it is liberated there. The object and the mind that grasps it appear as two, but from the beginning of appearance, they have not moved from the non-dual awareness, so they are liberated there. The self-arisen wisdom of awareness has no limits or biases, so in the wisdom of meaning, it is liberated in the single, free from elaboration. The single spontaneously accomplished thigle is also liberated in the realm beyond transparency and expression. In the nature of the liberation of extremes, vast and boundless, there is no establishment or refutation of samsara and nirvana. Therefore, obscurations vanish without a trace, and the wisdom of self-arisen awareness, which cannot be obscured by anything, is inherently present. If this meaning is explained a little, it should be understood as the meaning of the scriptures. As stated in "The Lion's Roar Perfection": "The three thousand worlds are inherently vast, and sudden circumstances cannot obscure me. The dharmadhatu is inherently vast, and narrow valleys cannot obscure me. Self-arisen is inherently clear, and the darkness of samsara cannot obscure me. Awareness is inherently immortal, and birth and death cannot obscure me. The three kayas are

From the place of original abiding, the five attachments and aversions do not obscure me. Since method and wisdom are inherently present, the union and liberation do not obscure me. Since nectar inherently cures illness, the root of the five poisons does not obscure me. Since awareness is inherently impartial, straying and obscuration do not obscure me. Since the Dharmakaya is inherently selfless, self and other do not obscure me. Since appearance is inherently self-luminous, the five elements do not obscure me. Since the three kayas are inherently self-complete, generation and completion do not obscure me. Since clarity is inherently devoid of substance, the phenomena of characteristics do not obscure me. Since self-awareness is inherently immutable, virtue and vice do not obscure me. Thus it is said. Since objects are spontaneously appearing without conceptualization, the mind's grasping does not obscure me. Since wisdom transcends phenomena, various thoughts do not obscure me. Since I do not grasp at appearance and objects as two, the eight consciousnesses do not obscure me. Since I do not differentiate between Buddhas and sentient beings, good and bad do not obscure me. Since I do not differentiate between emptiness and clarity, sinking and agitation do not obscure me. Since I do not differentiate between doing and being done, the effort of the vehicle does not obscure me. Since there is no distinction between realization and non-realization, right and wrong do not obscure me. Since there is no distinction between knowing and not knowing, mind and substance do not obscure me. Since I do not cling to sides and factions, enemies and friends do not obscure me. Since I do not differentiate between edge and center, straying and obscuration do not obscure me. Since there is no distinction between secret and non-secret, suffering does not obscure me. Since there is no distinction between awareness and non-awareness, darkness and light do not obscure me. Since there is no distinction between the five poisons and wisdom, grasping and conception do not obscure me. Since I do not look to outer and inner, the conditions of the elements do not obscure me. Since I do not differentiate into many different things, one and many do not obscure me. Since I do not conceptualize past and not past, samsara and nirvana do not obscure me. Since I do not grasp at clarity and obscurity as two, distraction and dullness do not obscure me. Thus it is. Moreover, since the nature of reality is inherently vast, without obscuration, transparent and nakedly manifest, as it says in the Garland of Pearls: The realm of self-appearing emptiness, the realm of vast emptiness, the wisdom body, the realm of various mind-natures, the realm of awareness, the realm of pure, vast wisdom, the realm of characteristic, true self-awareness, the realm of self-complete appearance, the sphere of action.
