If you cut off your own clinging, then the illusion itself will be liberated in its own place. If you realize the meaning of emptiness appearing, then the wisdom body will also be spontaneously accomplished. If you see through the ultimate nature of things that appear as real, then even without cultivating emptiness, it will be perfected. If you realize the meaning of the purity of dharmata, then you will transcend the unborn dharmata. Thus it is said. If you incorporate this meaning into practical instructions, then for all that appears and arises, you should relax and settle into the natural state, thereby engaging in a practice that does not deviate from the state of self-arisen awareness. In the Tantra of the Burning Body Relic it says: "Having received the empowerment of perfection on the unbestowed ground, the instruction of settling and placing in its own place is taught. Engage in the practice of being free from deviation and protection boundaries. This is the intention of abiding in the single self-nature." Thus it is said. That is to say, at the time of any appearance, if you relax and settle, you will go towards self-liberation, this is the key. At the time of self-liberation, if you can nakedly and clearly see the essence of awareness without wavering, this is the actual practical instruction. In the Spontaneous Perfection it says: "At the time of understanding, there are four situations: relaxing and settling, self-liberation, and non-movement." Thus it is said. The four situations are: understanding appearances as rootless, understanding knowing as placeless, understanding awareness as supportless, and understanding all phenomena as exhausted and nameless. Now, explaining the nature of all things being primordially liberated, among which the explanation of the unmoving, empty-clear purity is: luminosity is liberated within the sun and moon, dharmata is liberated within space, dharmas are liberated within the ocean, and immutability is liberated within Mount Meru. When the nature of mind is luminosity, awareness from the beginning is without self-nature, it has already been liberated within the sun and moon, therefore, by recognizing that self-arisen wisdom is luminous and becoming familiar with it, you can ascertain the key to liberation. What is considered the great emptiness of dharmata, awareness from the beginning is unobstructed, it has already been liberated within space, therefore, by recognizing the unborn, beyond thought and expression, and becoming familiar with it, you can ascertain the key to liberation. From the uninterrupted manifestation of energy arises unceasing play, awareness is clear and pure, it has already been liberated within the ocean, therefore, by recognizing self-liberation, relaxing and settling, and becoming familiar with it, you can ascertain the key to liberation. The great view and intention without establishment and refutation, without transfer and change, awareness from the beginning is unmoving, it has already been liberated within Mount Meru, therefore, transcending doing and effort

Having understood its meaning, habituating oneself to the ground, the basis, and the spontaneous perfection that expands, is definitely the key to liberation. Here, there are two aspects: quoting the scriptures of pure realization and pointing out the key to certain practice. Regarding quoting the scriptures: Thus, the four key points are certain as the nature of reality, the nature of reality is certain as awareness, awareness is certain as transparency, and moreover, that itself is not dual in its own essence. Although it appears in various ways, by realizing the great groundlessness and exhaustion of phenomena, awareness reaches the exhaustion of phenomena in its own place. As the "String of Pearls" says: Because ultimate and conventional are not two, There is great bliss in their respective realms. The sign that the nature of reality is not two, Is not following after appearances, Appearing everywhere and not being two. Not abiding in the phenomena of action and agent, One's own appearance and the realm are not two. Not distinguishing between one and many, At the time of realization, there is no duality. Because the secret Mantra methods are immeasurable, At the time of understanding, there is no duality. Although there are various realms of delusion, In the ultimate reality, there is no one or two. Although there is no one in the realm of whatever appears, At the time of knowing, various things arise. Various attachments are self-liberated, If the nature of reality is understood, in a state of non-duality. Having cut off the root of the realm of deluded appearances, The essence of self-awareness is not two. The pure realm is spontaneously accomplished. So it says. To ascertain the key to practicing that very meaning, there are three aspects: the ground, the path, and the fruit. In the ground, when cultivating in one's own tradition, merely recognizing the transparency of awareness, all appearances and thoughts are liberated in their own purity, completely cut off, and one attains one's own ground in primordial purity. On the path, when cultivating in a single decisive way, merely recognizing the clarity of power and essence without interruption, one goes to self-purity, self-liberation, and the ground of the basis. In the fruit, when cultivating in a transparent way, by realizing the appearance of play as the magical display of awareness, everything is purified like rootless, clear, mirages, and one goes to primordial purity, primordial perfection, and primordial attainment. These are also from the Tantra of the Great Spontaneous Perfection of Power: When cultivating the four aspects on the ground, Self-purity, complete cut-off, primordial purity. When taking up the four aspects on the path, Self-purity, view, and the ground of the basis. When summarizing the four aspects in the fruit, Primordial purity, primordial perfection, primordial attainment. So it says. Now, to gather the meaning of everything into the single nature of reality that is primordially enlightened in the space-like Bodhi citta: Primordially liberated, liberated in the realm of non-arising. Instantly liberated, in the realm of primordial Buddha.
