This meaning is: The meaning that exists from the very beginning. What is called all dharmas is that all teachers are also the nature of dharma, all teachings are also the nature of dharma, and samsara, nirvana, time, and place are also the nature of dharma, and there is nothing that is not the nature of dharma. The meaning of what is called the essence is the essence from which everything arises. From the nature of bodhicitta, the three teachers arise, the three teachings arise, and samsara, nirvana, time, and place arise. Therefore, it is said to be the essence from which everything arises. Thus it is. The three teachers are the three kayas. The three teachings are the outer tantra vehicle, the Vinaya Pitaka, the Sutra Pitaka, and the Abhidhamma Pitaka, which are the teachings of the nirmanakaya. The inner Kriya, Upa Yoga, and Yoga are the teachings of the sambhogakaya. The secret generation stage, completion stage, and great perfection are the teachings of the dharmakaya. The three circles are the retinue of the nirmanakaya, the two parents of monks and nuns, and the two parents of lay practitioners, for a total of four types. The retinue of the sambhogakaya is the bodhisattvas who abide on the ten bhumis. The retinue of the dharmakaya is all phenomena that appear as the play of dharmata, and the assembly of the ocean of wisdom. Among the three places, the place of the dharmakaya is the dharmadhatu beyond thought and expression, the Akanishta of ultimate meaning. The place of the sambhogakaya is the pure lands of the five families and the Akanishta palace. The place of the nirmanakaya is the various and uncertain self-appearances of those to be tamed, such as Vulture Peak Mountain. Among the three times, the time of the dharmakaya is inexpressible. The time of the sambhogakaya is the clear and pure constantly turning wheel of dharma. The time of the nirmanakaya is the time when the conditions for the arising of the dharma are gathered. The specific definition of bodhicitta is explained separately as follows: In the vast basic realm of self-arisen wisdom, Primordially stainless, unpolluted by samsara, pure, Qualities spontaneously accomplished, transcending cause and effect, realized, Self-aware essence, clear light, pure mind, In bodhicitta, all are gathered, utterly pure. Because the essence of awareness is primordially stainless, it has never experienced samsara, therefore it is called "pure." Because the qualities of that very essence are spontaneously accomplished, it is called "bodhi," because it can manifest everything. Because compassion abides pervasively, it pervades samsara and nirvana and is luminous, and because it arises as individually self-aware, it is called "citta." However, the mind and mental factors accumulated by conceptual thoughts are the impure appearances manifested by the power of play, therefore they are not bodhicitta.

Yes, because the mind of samsara is contradictory, there is a difference between the power and the manifestation of power. That is also what is said in the Kun Byed: The meaning of purification is like this: The essence of the heart, the Bodhicitta, is naturally pure from the beginning. All that is done by the Kun Byed Gyalpo is completely pure in Samantabhadra, therefore it is called purification. The meaning of enlightenment is like this: The essence of self-born wisdom, appearance and existence, and what is contained in the vessel and essence, all the Buddhas of the three times, and the beings of the three realms and six paths, and suchness in all, universally enlightened and abiding in all. Therefore it is called enlightenment. The meaning of mind is like this: The essence of self-born wisdom, for all appearances, existence, vessels and essences, enters and controls, clearly determines. Therefore it is called mind. So on and so forth. The conclusion of the definite reason is: In the self-nature of the manifestation of power, enlightenment and sudden Buddhahood, and the manifestation of ignorance and delusion without enlightenment, the eight consciousnesses and objects arising from Alaya, whatever appears as appearance, existence, vessels and essences, do not move from the realm of Bodhicitta. The mind realm does not move, in the nature of equality, samsara and nirvana merge into one, and are liberated in the vast realm of enlightenment. In the nature of Bodhicitta, like a flawless jewel, the power of self-clarity, enlightenment suddenly appears as a Buddha free from defilements, which is also the manifestation of awareness itself, without moving to anything else. The vessels and essences of sentient beings who are ignorant and deluded without enlightenment, together with the eight consciousnesses, also do not move from the nature of awareness. That is to say, whatever appears to each, it is said that it does not move from the nature of their own awareness, but it is not the case that for everything, it becomes one in the common nature of awareness, and it is as if it does not move, because it is impossible for the knowable. Alaya is the root of the mind, ignorance is unmentioned, Alaya consciousness is non-conceptual purity, the five sense consciousnesses are non-conceptual self-clarity, the mind consciousness is conceptual, grasping objects and non-conceptual single-pointedness, the afflicted mind consciousness is in a state of arising in any of the three poisons. Those are also the manifestation of the power of awareness, that is, the nature of awareness.
