Furthermore, being right-spiraling and brownish-black in color, having little regard for the body, and having ordinary external conduct, words arise spontaneously, or all forms of speech are just as someone else has spoken them; that person speaks in the same way. It is said that this is the instruction of Dzogchen. If all these qualities are complete in one person, whether they are of the butcher caste or the prostitute caste, or even of the sweeper caste, no matter which of the evil castes they belong to, entrust them with this secret pith instruction. Thus it is said. Now, the sky peg that gathers the definitive meaning of the essential instructions into the great natural state of resting: In short, for all that appears—objects, mind, and conditions—without applying antidotes and without abandoning them through effort, the key is to rest naturally, to let be, and to abide in the nature of awareness. The arising of conditions dissolves in its own place; this arises from the key point of naturally letting be, naturally resting, and naked awareness. The ordinary person is bound, but the yogi's path of liberation dawns; this is the special characteristic of this teaching. As the Great Garuda says: The path of resting naturally, free from obscurations and without adulteration, is unseen, unequaled, and the essence of all wisdom. The antidote to grasping at deluded objects is non-attachment itself. The unimpeded essence of nature in objects is the seal of the heart. Without examining the empty realm, it is liberated by resting in its own place. Thus it is said. Whatever is not adulterated is the key to the liberation of self-awareness. Body, mind, and afflictions are one's own nature. Although they appear as obstacles to ignorant children, genuine self-awareness is naturally liberated, uncreated, and cannot be destroyed by anyone. Since it is liberated in its own place without being liberated, what need is there for effort? Naturally liberated from the beginning, it is without a cause for liberation. Sinful actions and non-virtue are great friends to the ripening of bliss. The key is not to seek self-power but to be without effort. Since this is devoid of support, who benefits from virtue? There is no Buddha, and who is bound by the net? Delusion and ignorance do not exist for sentient beings; there is not even a name for them. Therefore, since it is not liberated from the beginning, there is no later liberation. Thus it is said. This meaning, through familiarizing oneself with the truth of the natural state, becomes a great spectacle in the mind, as it is said in the Klong Drugpa: The fortunate yogi who practices the truth finds the jewel that no one has found. Its value cannot be measured. The person who encounters immeasurable wealth sees a vision that no one has seen. This is the great spectacle of self-awareness. Thus, the great spectacle in the mind is that the phenomena are struck into pieces by a broom. The phenomena are cut into pieces by whom?

Through this, self-awareness is grasped. Such a being who has grasped this, Even the Buddhas have already become Buddhas before. In the mandala of bliss, Whoever is able to look, He will become the lord of all vidyas. Thus it is said. The dharmata fragment is whatever appears, whatever is seen, is naked. As swept by a broom, it is self-luminous cognition. The hailstorm of mixing pleasure and pain equally is: all pleasure and pain, in the way they appear in awareness, clinging to acceptance and rejection binds one to samsara. Just as it is unreasonable to cling to acceptance and rejection of two waves arising from the same water, similarly, it is unreasonable to cling to pleasure as something to be accepted and suffering as something to be rejected from the awareness arising from one consciousness, because attachment and aversion are equally the cause of samsara. From the differentiation of powers, it says: all pleasure and pain are the magical displays of awareness, and clinging to acceptance and rejection is also a delusion. Thus it is said. The Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra says: Do not take pleasure, do not abandon suffering. Why is that? Whatever appears, the object and sense are equal, it is merely clear. Whatever arises, the mind and memory are equal, it is merely without trace. The two are equal in the moment, it is merely binding through negation and affirmation. Ultimately, the root is equal, it is merely a groundless appearance. The objects are all equal, when examined, they are without trace. The minds are all equal, when analyzed, they are like the sky. The object and mind are non-dual, it is merely pure space. Thus, Who knows, the lineage of Kuntuzangpo. The supreme son of the Victorious Ones, the wise one on the ground, the vidyadhara. Thus, from the power of one awareness, the knowledge that arises, pleasure and pain, good and bad, realization and non-realization, etc., all abide in the equality of the awareness of dharmata. That is, when it appears in the object, the sense consciousness is equally self-luminous; the arising itself vanishes, equal like ripples in water; following external objects, distraction and the binding of the mind are equal in binding immediately like a golden rope and an iron rope; ultimately, without a basis and without a root, everything is unestablished, the root is equal; without trace, it goes to self-extinction, the essence is equal in self-liberation; ultimately, it has never existed, the nature is equal; the basis of appearance is one in awareness, it is equal in playing in self-born wisdom; the object and mind are non-dual, the clarity and appearance are equally undifferentiated, the object is not established externally, the mind is not established internally, realizing the nature of space, this is the lineage of Kuntuzangpo, it is the heart essence of the fortunate vidyadhara.
