Here, liberation occurs. In the state of awareness like the sky, the display of compassion's power arises unceasingly, and all the various plays of self-arising are, in appearance, purified into the very nature of dreams, whether they are the phenomena of samsara such as the five poisons, or the phenomena of nirvana such as wisdoms. Therefore, in reality, there is neither good nor bad, neither accepting nor rejecting. In the vast palace of the dharmadhatu, they gather as one, equally and perfectly unoriginated, just as the sun, moon, stars, and so on gather in the sky. As it says in "Awareness Self-Liberated": "For example, in the emptiness of the sky, the sun and moon gather. In the vast palace of dharma, the play of various wisdoms gathers. In the vast expanse of true meaning, the wisdom of empty awareness gathers." Thus it is. In this way, the key to recognizing the meaning of self-abiding and self-arising as equal, and as striking instantaneously like lightning, is summarized in the Sixth Space: "In the great samadhi of instantaneous striking, the body is like the ordinary, speech is free from words and expressions, and the mind is not bound by vows." Therefore, one should train in this way. Having shown the method of abiding that transcends practice, along with the limbs of samadhi, now, by means of definitive root vows, we seal off and bind. Among the twenty-two categories of determining one's own key point, sealing off in the vast expanse of primordial equality is: In the primordial equality of all things, from self-arisen awareness, arising and non-arising are not originally in the dharmadhatu. Abiding and non-abiding are not originally in the dharmadhatu. Liberation and non-liberation are not originally in the dharmadhatu. Awareness and its power, as well as the play of appearances and mind, have never existed, have never not existed, have never appeared, have never been empty, have never been samsara, have never been nirvana. Since they are pure like the sky, devoid of a basis, whatever appears, whatever changes, is sealed off in the state of the exhaustion of phenomena, which has never existed. Abandoning it in the expanse of non-intentionality, one binds it in the vow of non-arising. As it says in "The Great Garuda": "Abandon the dharma that harms the mind that desires happiness, self-abiding, without dependence, severing the activity of samsara and nirvana. Self and other, the magical display of appearing consciousness, by clearing away the obstacles of changing views, grasping, and attachment, abandoning everything, the limit of verbal elaboration is cut off, the magical display of mind and consciousness, whatever appears, is sealed off. Sealed off in the space between non-dharma and intentionality." Snake path.

Thus, stopping and binding the state of self-liberation and self-dissolution, for the unwavering great equality of awareness, at the time of appearance, it self-appears and occupies its own ground; at the time of abiding, it self-abides and occupies its own ground; at the time of liberation, it self-liberates and occupies its own ground. The three, appearance, abiding, and liberation, have nothing other than awareness. Awareness, in the primordial purity of the Dharmakaya's own essence, abides nakedly like space, which is called its own ground. Recognizing this is occupying one's own ground. At the time of self-appearance, the place of appearance, awareness is nakedly liberated, which is stopping and binding; at the time of self-abiding, the place of abiding, awareness is nakedly stopping and binding; at the time of self-liberation, the place of dissolution, awareness is nakedly stopping and binding. As the great Garuda said: Without cause, self-liberated, not relying on conditions, impartial, self-purified, this view has no 'is'. Cutting off the three obstacles of desire and views, appearance and awareness fall directly, becoming the cessation of the great self-born nature. Self-appearance, free from elaboration, binds between cause and condition. So it is said. Stopping and binding in primordial liberation, separate from the root, for the unchanging, free from elaboration, awareness, appearance is primordial appearance, abiding is primordial abiding, liberation is primordial liberation, it is the nature of space. Just as when a mirage appears as water, but in reality there is no water in the water from the beginning, so it is already liberated from being non-water. All dharmas are empty in nature, empty and without self from the beginning, therefore they are primordially liberated from things and characteristics. Thus, external appearances and internal awareness, however they appear and arise
